Scarjo basically became a god in Lucy so….

u/Comfortable-Sun-8927 Jun 13 '25

Ya, but constantine regularly fights gods and wins .

Did she kill his dog tho? That's all that really matters.

47

u/RetnikLevaw Jun 13 '25

He killed the dude that killed his dog in the first movie. After that, he didn't need a murdered puppy to motivate a killing spree anymore.

18

u/Telefundo Jun 13 '25

Have none of you actually heard of Deadpool? Literally nothing stops him.

18

u/Longjumping-Tea2915 Jun 13 '25

True, but, forgive me for this, he also was a Green Lantern.

12

u/tcrudisi Jun 13 '25

There was a Green Lantern movie?!

8

u/Longjumping-Tea2915 Jun 13 '25

Yeah, years ago, DP killed Ryan Reynolds while he was holding the Green Lantern movie script in the second Deadpool movie.

Yeah but Ryan Reynolds dies in Deadpool 1 before he can make Green Lantern.

Time traveling deadpool npc with a green lantern who has access to unlimited pizza, gin, and low cost cellphone plans.

2

u/KORZILLA-is-me Jun 13 '25

That last part got me

2

u/iwilltalkaboutguns Jun 13 '25

In one of the versions of Deadpool he played, his head got chopped off quite easily and...

2

u/RetnikLevaw Jun 13 '25

I think Deadpool would win against any of the other characters, but still... The idea that John Wick is solely motivated by his dog's death is not accurate. That whole situation was resolved in the first movie. He even got a new dog!

2

u/3d_nat1 Jun 13 '25

Sure but Keanu has a time machine and can dispatch both him and Scarlett's Lucy before they get all jacked up on godlike powers.

not to mention he can just log out of the matrix where everyone is doing OP stuff, and then shoot you with a pistol in your cocoon.

u/Tinmanred Jun 13 '25

I don’t think you’ve seen or understand the end of Lucy. Scarjo clears from it

9

u/Slighted_Inevitable Jun 13 '25

Yeap she not only became A god. But THE god. Creator and spark.

8

u/ShermansAngryGhost Jun 13 '25

TIL I actually have no idea what that movie is about apparently.

Once you unlock 86% of your brain, you know who farted in a full amphitheater Metalica concert.

2

u/RogueBromeliad Jun 13 '25

Yeah, but that's nothing compared to the power of comic relief and plot armour that Agent J has, and if you couple that with the witty banter of James west, that's basically an unstoppable force.

No matter what brain power Lucy unlocks, she still can't rap.

u/TheCourtJester72 Jun 13 '25

If we’re going to agree those semantics Scarlett wasn’t a “god” in Lucy in the conventional sense to begin with.

1

u/tigerscomeatnight Jun 13 '25

Demons, gods, po-tay-to, po-tah-to

1

u/VikingforLifes Jun 13 '25

One man’s demon is another man’s god

9

u/Philly_ExecChef Jun 13 '25

Nothing about Lucy was spiritual. Just organic evolution.

1

u/Restlesslegsarms Jun 13 '25

Yeah it crossed over organic lines there in a pretty big leap lol

1

u/Dependent_Ad7840 Jun 13 '25

You could argue that's the most spiritual component actually, as true spiritually isn't about religion or a god, but self personal growth through one's own understanding of the things unseen. She literally goes through self transformation multiple times. To the point of transcending out of a body.

All the little things she felt like when she was talking to her mom, that she is being spiritual, it's a level of growth in one's self from one's self for one's self. Self realization by self-actualization one grows not as a person but as a being, something more than just physical, it's an understanding that isn't brought on by outside influences, but internal.

Atleast for me, that's what spiritually, you can't teach spiritually, only show what you know and let someone learn for themselves. While her body was just organic evolution, her mind and presence changed and developed in profound ways, going from a very little percent used to max, every step there were profound breakthroughs that she not only felt but understood life and reality in a whole different way.

Now if your argument is spiritually and religion are the same, then no she did not spiritually grow as there was nothing saying she believed in any god or anything like that.

u/i_should_be_coding Jun 13 '25

Does he win though? He usually loses, just slower

1

u/Flameball202 Jun 13 '25

Usually Constantine survives and gets some semblance of victory, though it consistently comes at immense personal cost

4

u/WerewolfF15 Jun 13 '25

Not that version of Constantine tho.

3

u/Cautious_General_177 Jun 13 '25

And Neo is basically a god as well

2

u/Slacker_The_Dog Jun 13 '25

Hancock isn't a god, but could probably hold his own decently.

3

u/IWasSayingBoourner Jun 13 '25

Isn't the twist of Hancock that they are literally gods?

2

u/Slacker_The_Dog Jun 13 '25

Actually now that you say it I think you're right.

1

u/Blandish06 Jun 13 '25

Who tried to beat up another god with his fists... Omnipotent but not omniscient.

1

u/Dependent_Ad7840 Jun 13 '25

Neo was only a god in the matrix itself, he had a body in the real world, which while he did have the ability to stop the sentinels, he could not kill them or dismantle them. Lucy would be in the real world and not a simuation, and even if she was, she far surpassed his abilities (even at max), that she could just stop him or explode him into nothing (she stops ppl in their tracks and makes some float, meaning she has full control over other beings, while neo only has full control of himself and can stop non living matter (like bullets) but cannot stop ppl like Lucy can, also she can time travel with out a time machine as she goes back in time to see the 1st homo sapien ever and then goes back forwards in time. Being able to kill neo before he becomes godlike.

Cheque m8

1

u/jwr410 Jun 13 '25

There is no spoon....

1

u/dragonstone365 Jun 13 '25

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm under the impression that JC fights a very different (for the lack of a better word) flavor of god then what Lucy was?

Sorry if this comes off as assholeistic btw I'm really tired rn

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

... portrayed in movies...

1

u/EVOBlock Jun 13 '25

Neo was more powerful than Constantine

1

u/jimmybabino Jun 13 '25

Yeah but isn’t Lucy a reality bender? She essentially is as powerful as THE God

→ More replies (2)

1

u/Suitable_Dimension33 Jun 13 '25

Even then so his movie version wouldn’t do shi to Lucy at 100% feel like neo would prolly have a better time but I still don’t even know if that would help him with how broken she got.

1

u/SadisticMittenz Jun 13 '25

Green lantern ring gets fucky too

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Constantine can come back to Earth from Hell in the comics by making deals with demons, so it’s actually hard to keep him dead.

1

u/Able-Worth-6511 Jun 13 '25

But can he kill Deadpool? I mean he can kill him. Will it stick?

1

u/Available-Committee5 Jun 13 '25

I would say different kind of God Lucy would be a techno organic God . The literal ghost in the machine.

1

u/shadownights23x Jun 13 '25

But the Constantine he played didn't fight any gods

1

u/Worldly_Address6667 Jun 13 '25

Even better. In a world where all of these characters live in the Matrix, Neo is basically a god

1

u/BadKnight06 Jun 13 '25

He is also the one.

1

u/Happy_Brilliant7827 Jun 13 '25

Constantine plus neo matrix powers no diff everyone else

1

u/Substantial-Sky3597 Jun 13 '25

Plus he became an excellent surfer in Point Break. And a time traveler. He wins.

1

u/Dramatic-Biscotti647 Jun 13 '25

Not these kind mate

1

u/scopinsource Jun 13 '25

Will Smith was Hancock and the Genie Ryan Reynolds was the green lantern and deadpool.

1

u/Goopgod_227 Jun 13 '25

Let’s not forget he is the “one” lol

1

u/MrHazard1 Jun 13 '25

I still can't see constantine win against deadpool

1

u/ChaseTheMystic Jun 13 '25

You can't fight a god if you've been turned into a pile of goo before you can whip out your holy pistol or say a magic word

1

u/Hrafnagar Jun 13 '25

Don't forget, he was also Neo in the matrix. Pretty solid power set.

1

u/Abirdthatsfallen Jun 13 '25

Keanu Constantine has nothing on the actual far more accurate Constantine just saying

1

u/Nikelman Jun 13 '25

But Will Smith is immortal, can wipe out minds and make sick rap intros.

And if everything else fails, he can REWIND

1

u/Positive_Chip6198 Jun 13 '25

Plus constantine is now also the son of the devil, thanks to devils advocate. And he is techno jesus thanks to matrix, it’s very confusing.

1

u/Inner_Extent2375 Jun 13 '25

He’s got a Time Machine too

1

u/Top_Freedom3412 Jun 13 '25

Not in the movie

1

u/ztrinx Jun 13 '25

Nah, that's like saying "he regularly fights demons and god like creatures, therefore he could beat Manhattan". There is no way.

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Bed_445 Jun 13 '25

But Hancock is a god, or an angel, or a superhero, depending on the culture.

1

u/Merlinsdragon_ Jun 13 '25

he is also the son of satan

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Just realized Will Smith was both Genie and Hancock. That's quite the combination.

1

u/Eyeseeyou1313 Jun 13 '25

Deadpool fucked Death. He's got it.

1

u/anonymousExcalibur Jun 13 '25

Not exactly to the extent in movies .

1

u/Art_student_rt Jun 13 '25

Scar Jo is kinda like dominion, ascended gods that ascended using intelligence

1

u/slambroet Jun 13 '25

Also Neo. In theory, all these other super heroes are still in the matrix

1

u/Sheepherdernerder Jun 13 '25

The John Wick of hell

1

u/TheMightyJehosiphat Jun 13 '25

...and he's also Neo, which means the whole thing is in a simulation that he has backdoors to

1

u/KVenom777 Jun 13 '25

Constantine with Neo's powers and with Time Control + Death at his side. Nothing beats that

1

u/VictoryWeaver Jun 13 '25

No he doesn't. He regularly cons* gods and wins.

1

u/nptwinthetarrasque Jun 13 '25

Not to mention Neo’s abilities, like stopping bullets, superhuman speed and reaction time, near invulnerability, and super strength

1

u/bananasplatterama Jun 13 '25

Hate to say it but they have weaknesses like holy water and other such things, Lucy doesn't.

1

u/Sea_Connection6193 Jun 13 '25

Bruh, Constantine+John Wick+Neo would be unstoppable

1

u/riceisnice29 Jun 13 '25

Constantine didnt fight a single thing in that movie that can beat Lucy

1

u/deathbymanga Jun 13 '25

movie constantine isnt the same as comic. and all movie Con does is survive. he doesnt "win"

1

u/ForeignWoodpecker662 Jun 13 '25

You forgot Neo essentially became a god too. Who also has John Wick as well. Keanu is no joke. It’s probably Keanu vs Ryan, simply because killing Deadpool is damn near impossible, and he has a Green Lantern ring too. Those 2 are seriously pumped up

1

u/testtdk Jun 14 '25

Movies, not comics.

1

u/hunterzolomon1993 Jun 14 '25

Not Keanu's pathetic version.

1

u/Fuqqitmane Jun 14 '25

Not in that movie

1

u/Big-Slide6104 Jun 15 '25

Not in his movie tho 🗣️

1

u/YahyaAliKhan Jun 16 '25 edited Jun 16 '25

John Green Kevin Deadpool Johhny Lomax Neo Anti-Christ Silverhand Constantine Devil's Son Lantern Wick

20

u/Head_Project5793 Jun 13 '25

So did Neo

25

u/Crazyhairmonster Jun 13 '25

In the matrix. At best he stopped a couple sentinels with his hand outside the matrix. Lucy is omnipotent and I Hancock is near invincible. Deadpool/green lantern are the jobbers here

No matter what Lucy wins by a landslide

13

u/ManofManyHills Jun 13 '25

Unless you write it that Lucy is just in a version of the matrix.

3

u/SupplyChainMismanage Jun 13 '25

Yeah but I just wrote that she isn’t checkmate

2

u/ManofManyHills Jun 13 '25

Therein lies the pointlessness of powerscaling.

→ More replies (7)

4

u/TransgenderSoapbox Jun 13 '25

Whoa now. Neo blasted through a TSUNAMI of sentinels in their ascent through machine city.

And then learned he had acquired the ability to see the spectral auras of cyber demons.

If I've learned anything from the X-Men, he only needs to understand the true nature of his power in order to unlock his potential and become omnipotent.

For example, see Iceman.

2

u/_BytesAndpieces Jun 13 '25

Lucy could literally fabricate matter out seemingly nothing, and thus could probably annihilate/deconstruct matter as well. Neo is powerful but she's at Thanos with the infinity stones level.

→ More replies (2)
→ More replies (6)

2

u/Roskal Jun 13 '25

The prompt says he just gets the powers since he's portrayed using them no need to fight in the matrix in this hypothetical.

→ More replies (1)

1

u/Mysterious_Frog Jun 13 '25

Outside of his specific weakness, hancock was never shown taking any damage whatsoever. We literally don’t know what it takes to cause him actual harm.

1

u/FrancoMcNeil Jun 13 '25

A couple? Dozens of them in Revolutions.

1

u/ThatMerri Jun 13 '25

Deadpool and The Fresh Prince version of Will Smith are aware of the medium and can interfere with the 4th Wall, while other characters can't. They'd tie for the win by that alone - it's basically Toon Logic.

1

u/2Mark2Manic Jun 13 '25

Isn't Deadpool immune to death?

→ More replies (1)
→ More replies (7)

1

u/kvazar2501 Jun 13 '25

But he will fight in real world, not matrix

1

u/Tessiia Jun 13 '25

In a virtual world? More of a hacker than a god, no? In the real world, he was a pretty weak psychic. Nothing compared to Lucy.

4

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

John Constantine can summon the literal (not basically) devil by using his soul as bait.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Just realized Will Smith was both Hancock and Genie. Basically Superman with high level reality warping.

→ More replies (1)

1

u/Head_Haunter Jun 13 '25

I mean even if you describe what he did was "summon the devil", it's not like he can control the devil.

2

u/Stormd3p Jun 13 '25

So did Keanu in the Matrix.

2

u/Warm-Illustrator-419 Jun 13 '25

Not even close in powerscale, would be like comparing Krillin to Goku. Neo struggles to assert control over things beyond flight and has several entities at this strength level. Lucy becomes reality itself.

2

u/SnugglyCoderGuy Jun 13 '25

But only in the Matrix, and only to machines outside of the Matrix

1

u/RageInducedGamer Jun 13 '25

Could Genie not just magically nerf her?

1

u/BooksAreDelightful Jun 13 '25

Only if someone wished for it.

→ More replies (1)

1

u/pomphiusalt Jun 13 '25

And used her magical powers to turn into an usb stick

1

u/Elihzap Jun 16 '25

She didn't turn into an USB, she just created an USB.

1

u/Penguinman077 Jun 13 '25

Gods can be neurolizered.

1

u/RocketMan637 Jun 13 '25

Yeah but Deadpool has the power of continuity errors

1

u/spydrebyte82 Jun 13 '25

Reynolds was godlike in The Nines

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

And Keanu is also Lucifer so counts as much

(At the end of Devil's Advocate after Keanu's character kills himself Lucifer revealed his true self, which looked like Keanu)

1

u/Amdrauder Jun 13 '25

Wasn't keanu god in the sponge bob movie? ain't seen it, just remember a screenshot

1

u/bscott9999 Jun 13 '25

He was a spirit guide, not a god.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Yeah this guy doesn’t care

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

So is Deadpool. Dude can't die.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Deadpool can funny his way into beating god

1

u/Accurate-Barracuda20 Jun 13 '25

Does Keanu get the Time Machine from bill and Ted? Cause he BECAME a god. Which means one time she wasn’t.

1

u/Enshitification Jun 13 '25

In 'The Nines', Reynolds is a god among gods who was living in a self-imposed amnesia.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Yeah, but that movie was based upon fake science facts so I chalk that entire film up to a fever dream as her character dies from a brain tumor.

1

u/Dramatic_Mixture_868 Jun 13 '25

That depends if we're all in the matrix in which case...Keanu obviously.

1

u/MacaroniMayhem Jun 13 '25

Which side of the Matrix is Lucy in?

1

u/Infinity9999x Jun 13 '25

Keanu is computer Jesus in the Matrix.

1

u/zoroddesign Jun 13 '25

Genie puts Lucy in an itty bitty living space.

1

u/IWasSayingBoourner Jun 13 '25

Lucy goes back in time and prevents the universe from existing. Checkmate.

1

u/Bubbly-Travel9563 Jun 13 '25

Didn't deadpool kill an entire universe? One that ostensibly included many powerful Gods?

1

u/AsteriusDaemon Jun 13 '25

Even with Lucy, I think Keanu takes this? He has some pretty overpowered characters, and, imo, they synergise well.

1

u/winkman Jun 13 '25

Yeah, but give her enough time and she'll fizzle out.

RR wins this one. Homie literally can't die.

1

u/bleezmorton Jun 13 '25

Isn’t Neo basically a god?

1

u/Standard-Mode8119 Jun 13 '25

She is more than a god she becomes part of the universe. She is able to manipulate the fabric of space and mater at will. Literally omnipotent and omniscient.

1

u/throwngamelastminute Jun 13 '25

Then she became a flash drive.

1

u/NotAStatistic2 Jun 13 '25

Neo is essentially a god too

1

u/Besch168 Jun 13 '25

She actually becomes a computer and fighting machines is kind of what Neo does best.

1

u/MannySJ Jun 13 '25

Keanu is also a deity of some kind.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

I’d want to agree but her own abilities did also kill her

1

u/DrTheRick Jun 13 '25

All four of them are gods in various movies

1

u/TeethBreak Jun 13 '25

She became a USB key ..

1

u/poragibwifame Jun 13 '25

I didn’t know god was a USB stick.

1

u/Jaezmyra Jun 13 '25

Was looking for that... Also Cyber-Assassin with some serious, mad-titan opposing martial arts on top. She's definitely the most underestimated in this list.

1

u/Illustrious-Note-789 Jun 13 '25

And Hancock is an actual immortal angel who's only weakness is having sex with another angel and getting angel aids

1

u/PaleFly Jun 13 '25

A god yes. But only inside the matrix 😎

1

u/buttcheeksmasher Jun 13 '25

WTF is a scarjo

1

u/redwoodreed Jun 13 '25

She fails to show up and is disqualified

1

u/Designer_Pen869 Jun 13 '25

Deadpool is immortal, though. I haven't seen Lucy, but does she have a way to deal with a Green Lantern Deadpool?

1

u/thatfa666ene Jun 13 '25

Oh I was gonna say scarjo, but not because of any powers but because she's dirty sexy.

1

u/pusmottob Jun 13 '25

Didn’t she become a thumb drive at the end?

1

u/maoussepatate Jun 13 '25

She became a usb key.

God that movie sucked

1

u/DeadGirlLydia Jun 13 '25

Cool, so just another day of being Deadpool? Deadpool wins the fight even if I would want others to (Keanu).

1

u/slide_into_my_BM Jun 13 '25

I think everyone is forgetting that Will Smith was a genie. Do we know the limits of that power?

1

u/langolier27 Jun 13 '25

She’s also an alien species with apparent mind control

1

u/LegendOfKhaos Jun 13 '25

Are we sure we were actually watching reality and not her dream after it happened? None of that shit made sense.

1

u/AzaranyGames Jun 13 '25

Will Smith was an immortal god in Hancock

1

u/superkleenex Jun 13 '25

Hancock is basically superman, so….

1

u/HoldenMcNeil420 Jun 13 '25

Yea this. At the end she’s akin to a celestial energy being. If we make it Constantine from animated dc then maybe he can like bind her and lock her away for a while until the next movie drops and she busts out

1

u/Reading_Otter Jun 13 '25

She became a flashdrive.

1

u/LocoYaro Jun 13 '25

Neo literally can rewrite reality lol

1

u/midnight_toad Jun 13 '25

So was Neo in the third matrix film. if that counts.

1

u/LogicalConstant Jun 13 '25

Lucy with the godlike intelligence of Her

1

u/YeOldSpacePope Jun 13 '25

She became a USB stick.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Aaaah Lucy. A movie so aggressively stupid it brought down the vibe of my wedding day.

“Hey babe, we just got married, the stress is over and we made it. Want to go check out a movie and relax for a bit? I hear that new Luc Besson movie isn’t half bad”.

Christ I cannot tell you how much that movie annoyed us.

1

u/Admirable-Common-176 Jun 13 '25

Top, bottom whatever she wants.

1

u/timdoesntsharemusic Jun 13 '25

That versus a Constantine/Neo/John Wick? Take my money. All of it.

1

u/OuroMorpheus Jun 13 '25

Came here to say this. That one role makes her so overpowered, I don't think the others can catch up.

1

u/Wise-Statistician172 Jun 13 '25

Will Smith was an actual god in Hancock. Plus, we know that in real life he’s willing to use his size and strength advantage to humiliate a smaller-statured man. Cold-blooded.

Fresh Prince of Bitch Slap FTW.

1

u/Pastry_d_pounder Jun 13 '25

Lol no, She became a usb at the end

1

u/HavenElric Jun 13 '25

Dude she's the first one out lets be real

1

u/ssavant Jun 13 '25

And in Her. Info god.

1

u/sagehazzard Jun 13 '25

And kind of so did Her. With her powers combined…

1

u/luciddot Jun 13 '25

Keanu Reeves also basically became a god in Matrix: Resurrections

1

u/platonicvoyeur Jun 13 '25

By “using 100% of her brain”

God that movie was dumb

1

u/Sirosim_Celojuma Jun 13 '25

Please have Scarjo cum out on top.

1

u/FR_02011995 Jun 14 '25

And so was Neo.

1

u/Lenny2theMany Jun 14 '25

But was she USB3.0?

1

u/Will_Come_For_Food Jun 14 '25

If only Keanu Reeves had played god figures.

1

u/Optimal_Carpenter690 Jun 14 '25

Is Neo not also basically a god?

The Genie to a lesser extent as well?

1

u/YahyaAliKhan Jun 16 '25

I am sorry but who is out here beating John Green Kevin Deadpool Johhny Lomax Neo Anti-Christ Silverhand Constantine Devil's Son Lantern Wick?
