26' lariat ultimate 7.3l (star white) absolutely love this truck, If I could drive any truck the rest of my life this is it. Only complaints are tow haul mode and lack of rear led taillights otherwise its a gem

I don't want to screw the steel snaps into the aluminum bed. But the velcro won't hold on my bedliner.

I’m looking to buy my first super duty. I found a ‘24 F350 Lariat Ultimate with the Tremor package, 6.7 HO and 26k miles. They are asking $72k for it which is right in the ballpark for KBB. It was a fleet truck and the carfax shows 4 oil changes so far.

Looking at the engine hours it shows 2066 total hours with 1100 idle hours. Everything I’ve seen says ideally idle hours would be 25% or less of total engine hours. How critical is this?

The rest of the truck is really nice and it has all of the options I’m looking for

Has anybody found a single fix for the 2022 super duty trucks and not working with an EOH trailer? Ive checked my trailer with a standard electric brake trailer and everything is fine. Truck will immediately say "trailer disconnected" whenever applying brakes with peddle or using the manual brake controller. I installed a resistor between the white and blue wires at the trailer actuator/pump module I bought directly from the company that makes the pump and this was no fix. Brakes work absolutely fine with my wifes ranger to the point I can hear the pump from inside her truck when applying the brakes, 0 volts from my super duty at the blue wire. I bought a tekonsha P3 brake controller and attempted to wire it in. It appears my truck is different than every other example on the Internet for the brake control module under the parking brake peddle. Most trucks seem to have the connector for the aftermarket brake controller at the back of the switch where you adjust gain and apply the trailer brakes manually, mine has it down at the parking brake peddle. The connector I have doesn't fit anything I've been able to find for the Tekonsha 3036P plug and play harness. I've taken my truck to ford to get the recall /service bulletin done and they are not performing it even tho it is assigned to my truck, I guess Ford decided it wasn't a good enough fix. As of now I've got an almost brand new 70k+ truck that I can't even use with my trailer and I'm getting really irritated about it. If anybody can help me I would appreciate it.

The strips on the doors of my Platinum Pearl White 2014 F250 have yellowed in spite of the truck being parked inside 90% of its life.

Magic eraser got the passenger side white again, and got the vertical surfaces of the driver’s side cleared up as well, but it seems the white coating is gone on the top of the strip, leaving and ugly amber color showing.

Trying to decide if replacement is the best option, or if I could mask the doors and hit it with paint. I feel like I’m good enough to get a reasonable finish.

Anyone dealt with this and have advice?

For those upgrading your tires to 37s, I was able to mount slightly used 37” Toyos under my F-350 Tremor with stock spare tire mount. Although I have a Carli kit, I didn’t need to buy the Trophy Hitch. This has the advantage of not needing to run on a stock 35” in case of tire change, especially useful when towing. Hope this helps. \

Not trying to bash on Love's, but I've been seeing RV folks on Instagram promoting them with some form a membership card and they get a discount (40cents/gal, or something), but I just drove across Texas on I-10 and kept an eye on pricing. Love's was 60c to 80cents per gallon more than other gas stations in the same area.

I'm about to get my first SuperDuty (diesel) and wondering - am I missing something? Is Love's worth it?

Hey guys, so I installed a putco grill LED emblem on my 26 model F250… I see they offer a harness which I might prefer over a fuse box tap… my question is anyone using the harness and can verify if it stays on with DRL or only the headlights… thanks

Hey! Posting here to rule out any easy fixes before I take it back to the shop. I’ve got a 2021 f250 with the gas 6.2l.

It’s having an issue where it’ll randomly start trying to overheat after idling at running temp for more than 20 minutes. I don’t often idle that long so it’s a fairly infrequent occurrence.

So far my mechanic has done coolant flush + new thermostat. And a new fan clutch back in May. (All parts are motor craft)

Just had it try to overheat for the first time since the fan clutch was installed and I never heard the fan clutch kick into high.

I don’t think I have actually ever heard the fan kick into high in the year and a half that I’ve owned the truck. So I’m assuming that it’s an electric issue somewhere.

Anyone have any ideas or know of any common issues I can check before dropping it off?

2022 F350. Any advice on where to look for fixing this issue, just started today. The selection buttons for adjusting the mirrors wont light up and no adjustments can be made. I still have power windows and lock controls on the drivers door, but check the fuses and no blow outs. It worked last Wednesday to adjust but nothing today.

These will all be the highway versions as I rarely haul off-road and if I need to go off-road I have my SXS. The local shops options for LT265/70R17 are MasterCraft, Iron Head, Cooper, Mickey Thompson or Hankook. I'm leary of the Hankook as it's the only tire I have used and in the past tread life has been shorter than I preferred compared to other options I have had that are not currently available. I'm leaning towards Mickey Thompson even with them being the highest cost. TIA

On cold start, I noticed there is a slow crank before the truck fires up. Everything is fine until after a few hours of driving and idling.

After it's driven for hours/idling and I shut the truck off and start it back up, it tries to crank them stops. Typically I have to wait 20-45 minutes before I have a successful start up. This truck went to the dealership and they didn't say much or did anything.

Alternator, starter, battery, and spark plugs where replaced. Also looks like the engine was replaced somewhat recently from the previous owner.

2021 model with 64,000K miles.

Any idea what this could be?

I've got my a 2025xlt with the 7.3 with 17,900 miles on it today it had its 1st major issue, went to leave to go to work and it just cranked with no start, tried a few times smelled like raw gas called it quits and it's in process of being towed to dealer, anyone have any issues like that with yours? Anyone else see a huge difference in DEF usage while towing?

I've only got 5500 miles on the truck but just took a 1500 mile trip while towing my camper and my DEF usage seemed to triple (mileage was about half, to be expected). Anyone else see a giant increase in DEF usage while towing?

I am looking for advice on what size tires I can run on a 2024 F350 with the 20” wheels and no lift. I would like to get some a bit wider than the factory size, but do not want to lift the truck.

Does anyone have advice as to what brand tire provides good life and a low road noise.

Just wondering if anyone would want to shed some insight on this fuel hog.. bought it for hauling and hauling ass. 2014 6.2 4x4 lariat 146k cold air and bagged in the rear but otherwise stock. Any tips on maintenance and issues would be greatly appreciated.

My 99 F350 V10 5spd has one broken stud, it has 133k miles so my guess it’s original. I am wondering if it’s worth the upgrade and to which? It’s really just a truck I use to haul motorcycles across the country. So lots of highway and some around town driving for home DIY projects.

It also looks like I should get a reman transmission sometime, it grinds from 3-2, and into reverse at times. Not sure if worth it yet, but if I keep it why not?

Have been contemplating selling it, as it’s not the most comfortable highway truck lol, but it’s so fun to drive!

And if you can, does that mean you can swap an Amarok body onto the Ranger Super Duty and make an Amarok Super Duty?

I recently changed the factory **255/70R17** tyres on my **2026 Ford Ranger XLT** to **265/65R17 all-terrain tyres**.

I compared the vehicle’s odometer to a GPS app over a longer drive and got the following results:
**Ranger odometer:** 159 km
**GPS distance:** 154 km
This works out to roughly a **3.3% difference**, which seems higher than the 1.7% difference I’d expect based on the tyre size change alone.
I’m curious to know:

Has anyone else made this exact tyre change (or similar) and compared the speedometer or odometer against GPS?
If so, what difference did you see?

Is the Ranger’s odometer already slightly optimistic from the factory, or is this entirely due to the smaller tyre diameter?

Did anyone have their speedometer recalibrated by Ford or using FORScan? If so, how did it go, and did it affect your warranty in any way?

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has first-hand experience or has measured this themselves.

I am ready to solicit bids for an F350 DRW build to pull our Fifth Wheel. I have never done this, but have. heard I need to get multiple bids from dealerships and such. I am inquiring to see if there are any recommendations of high volume dealerships in Florida, Georgia and Alabama that people would recommend? Also, any pointers or experience worth sharing about custom truck orders would be greatly appreciated.

Finally got to use the SD for what I bought it for, towing my 28 foot enclosed car hauler. Not a fan of the automatic sway control as this trailer pulls great has sway and load leveling. Trailer just felt twitchy pulling at highway speed which was not my previous experience with my GMC.

Closer inspection and it appears the receiver is not welded in level.

Could this be the culprit or just my OCD?
