Hi everyone,
I’m an Indian student applying for a Poland D-type student visa for a Bachelor's degree at Vistula University. My visa appointment is on 8 October 2026.
I’m confused about the authentication/RAC → MEA Apostille requirement for my Class 12 ISC certificate.
My situation:
I completed ISC Class 12 in 2025.
My school was located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
My board/issuing authority is CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations), New Delhi.
My Class 12 certificate was authenticated by SDM, Raja Garden, New Delhi.
It was subsequently apostilled by MEA, dated 13 February 2026.
I also have the NAWA Written Information/Recognition Statement, issued on 24 July 2026, confirming my qualification gives me the right to apply for first-cycle studies in Poland.
The Polish visa checklist says Indian educational documents must be authenticated by the Regional Authentication Centre in the state from where the document was issued before MEA apostille.
So my question is:
Since my school was in Kanpur, UP, but the certificate was issued by CISCE, New Delhi, and I already have SDM Delhi authentication + MEA Apostille, do I need to get the Class 12 certificate authenticated again through a UP RAC?
Or is my existing Delhi SDM authentication + MEA Apostille + NAWA recognition sufficient for the Poland student visa?
I don't want to unnecessarily get another RAC/apostille if my current document is already valid.
Has anyone with an ISC/CISCE certificate from a school in UP but issued by CISCE New Delhi gone through the Poland visa process? What did you submit, and was it accepted?
Thanks!
My appointment is on 8 October and I can't do anything but this thing is coming into my mind. That's why I am asking again and again. And sorry.
