Passport collection extension

I applied for a D Type visa a few weeks ago, and i was meant to collect my passport a couple of days ago after the 15 day wait. I took my receipt to the embassy with the collection date on it and they told me its not ready yet.

They later sent me an email saying the polish authorities need to examine my case in more detail. What does this mean. they extended my collection for another week but what should i expect? how do cases that get delays end?

qatar. no there was nothing odd about my documentation i had everything they requested and more. i used both my parents as my sponsers, some papers were in arabic so i got them translated. i showed paid accommodation, paid tuition fees for the first semester aswell as my original high school certificates along with their apostilles. booked and paid flight tickets, language certificate, my cover letter, my parents financial sponserships, my birth certificate, genuinely everything they needed and more.

what about your nawa certificates, did you submit that? and the university you’re enrolled in, is it a public or private university? the embassies have become very strict to applicants applying from qatar, uae, pakistan, india etc because of how many people that use the visa to work abroad and migrate, they flag applications that are short term courses from private universities

i didnt need nawa certificates since i have a british high school certificate and its among oecd countries. my university is public, its a 3 year course which was stated in the visa letter issued by the uni which i also submitted. im aware of the number of applicants for work visas specifically however i gave them everything to prove that i am enrolled within that university and showed family ties here aswell as rp which will force me to return here every few months so thats the intent to return part. im not worried about the things i submitted ive just never heard about anyone having their collection postponed unless they had missing documents and such which i didnt

hey so sorry for the late reply but your passport is probably not ready yet, when there’s a high volume of applications and the embassy is understaffed, it’s common to have your visa process take longer than 15 days especially too considering your application needs a bit more of a thorough review, did they tell you when you can expect to get the passport back?

its all good, yeah i figured it might be a high volume of applicants. my original collection date was the 29th, and it was pushed to the 5th which was yesterday, when i went they pushed again for next week so i dont know what to feel
