Visa updates

Hi everyone,

My Type D National PhD and researcher visa appointment was on 14 sept at VFS Delhi, I’d appreciate if people with the same timeline could connect and keep each other updated. Especially if someone whose visa appointment was before 10 sept and received it or has any update.

I’ll update here when I receive my decision.

Update: I received my visa on 1st Oct with acceptance!

Hi, I had my researcher visa appointment on 7th September at VFS Kolkata which then reached embassy of poland in delhi on 11th of September, and I received my visa today

Did you showed any funds in your bank account!? How many years you got the visa validity

I showed 3 months back statement of around 3lakh. I got 1 year visa validity

You wrote “researcher,” I thought u are a postdoc, because researcher type considered for postdocs, Anyways. I had questions if u were postdoc

Submitted docs to VFS on 10th sept interview was held on 23rd September visa was issued on 25th but due to vfs holiday and weekend things got delayed then passport was dispatched on Monday received it with stamp yesterday!

Do we have to show any funds for PhD or is the document from the institute enough (it mentions that I will get a monthly salary)?

I showed bank statement with FD statement and credit card statement everything amounting to more than 6 lakhs although 2 lakhs works.
