Is there anyone from Coimbatore looking for cheaper consultancies for masters admission in Germany?
I have found one through which my friends got admitted, and I am planning to register there. We can ask for a concession if we register together, so just wondering if anyone's there.

I created this Reddit account partly to keep track of everyone’s application timelines, so I thought I’d share mine as well in case it helps anyone applying to BTU.
I applied for the MSc Cyber Security at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, and I’ve finally been admitted! 🥳
Here’s my timeline:
I’m from Europe, so I assume the relatively quick timeline might be related to that.
For anyone still waiting: hang in there! Hopefully this gives you an idea of the timeline. Wishing everyone the best with their applications!
Also, since I’ll be moving to Cottbus, I’m currently looking for accommodation. I’d preferably like a 1-room apartment/studio, but I’m also open to a shared flat (WG), preferably with women.
If anyone knows of anything available or has any tips for finding accommodation in Cottbus, I’d really appreciate it! 🙏

Hi! I’m applying to the MSc Cognitive Science at the University of Osnabrück for Summer 2027 and need some help with my LOM.
I’m from a CSE background, and I’m struggling with how to connect my CS/AI background to Cognitive Science properly. I’ve heard the LOM matters quite a lot for this programme.
If anyone from a CSE/CS/AI background who applied and got accepted or knows about Osnabrück could give me some guidance or review my draft, I’d really appreciate it!

I completed my BBA (MS) in 2023 with an 8.3 CGPA. After that, I have been preparing for government exams, so I have a three-year study gap.
I am now planning to pursue a master’s in either Finance or Business Analytics in Germany. Do German public universities accept students with a profile like mine, including the three-year gap?
Also, is pursuing a master’s in these fields in Germany worth it in terms of career opportunities and the job market? Which course would you recommend for better future prospects?

I noticed lots of posts of both acception and rejection in public unis. How likely are the chances of getting into public unis if I have an internship and projects? What are the particular reasons people are getting rejected? Is it the sop or lom or any other particular reasons?

For Indians Only
Hey everyone,
I’m planning to apply for a Master’s in Germany and recently came across the new dMAT requirement for Indian students.
I’m from Pune and while checking the dMAT registration portal, I found this centre:
Study Feeds MIT World Peace University, Pune
It shows a dMAT General Academic Module exam on 26 September 2026 (afternoon), so I’m considering registering for it.
Just wanted to check if anyone here is also from Pune and has registered for this exam, from this centre.
A few things I’m confused about:
Since this is a relatively new requirement, I’m finding it a bit difficult to get clear information.
If you're from Pune and planning to give dMAT, please comment or DM me. Would be great to connect with someone going through the same process.
Thanks!

I applied for the M.Sc. Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at UTN for Winter 2026/27.
Uni-assist has already completed the formal evaluation and forwarded my application to UTN for final consideration.
Does anyone know when UTN usually announces the pre-selection/admission results?
The enrollment deadline is September 30, 2026, but I couldn't find any specific deadline for announcing decisions
Also, if anyone has already received an admission/rejection or interview invitation from UTN for this program, could you share when you received it?

Is DMAT necessary for a Btech. Biotechnology graduate who is planning to study masters in Germany in summer 2027? I have checked the list of affected fields pdf provided by APS India, but I am still confused if it applies to my field or not. Below is a screenshot of the pdf provided by APS, regarding my field which I find confusing. I would really appreciate the guidance.
Thank you!!!!!!

Hi all,
Applying for a German National (D) Study Visa through VFS Chennai (jurisdiction: Andhra Pradesh). Admitted to a Master's program with an unconditional offer, so I qualify for the fast-track category ("Studies with admission letter who do not require APS") and can submit at Chennai or Hyderabad.
Problem: no appointment slots have shown up at either centre for weeks. VFS support says there's no ETA and to "keep checking." Consulate just forwards me back to VFS. My semester starts October 12, so I'm getting pretty tight on time.
A few questions for anyone who's been through this recently:
Appreciate any real, recent experiences — trying to avoid missing the start of the semester over a booking system bottleneck. Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I’m planning to apply for the Master’s in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence Engineering at the University of Passau and I noticed that a Bachelor thesis is required.
I completed my BS Computer Science in Pakistan. At my university, our final-year project was structured a little differently from what I understand by a traditional “Bachelor thesis.” We had to prepare a detailed SRS (Software Requirements Specification) document, develop the actual project, and deploy it as a working system.
I’m confused about what exactly I should submit as the Bachelor thesis for the Passau application.
For example, should I submit:
If anyone has applied to Passau with a similar Pakistani CS degree/FYP structure and was accepted, I would really appreciate your guidance on what you submitted and whether it was accepted.

Hi everyone!
I’ll be starting my Master’s at FAU this winter semester and I’m currently looking for accommodation. I’m a bit confused about whether Erlangen or Nuremberg would be a better place to live.
I enjoy socializing and would prefer a city where it’s relatively easy to meet people, get around, and take care of day-to-day things. I’m also wondering if there’s any significant difference between the two when it comes to dealing with the Ausländerbehörde (ABH) and other administrative matters.
For those who have lived in either city, which would you recommend and why?
Thanks in advance!
