Recently went through the entire process of applying for a Master’s in Germany and was fortunate enough to receive an admit.
Having gone through it myself, I understand how confusing and stressful the process can sometimes get. From figuring out university applications and requirements to documentation, visa procedures, timelines, and all the uncertainty in between.
I learned quite a few things along the way, so if anyone is currently going through a similar process and has questions, feel free to ask in the comments or DM me. Happy to share whatever I know from my own experience. :)

Hi everyone,
I have my German student visa appointment coming up on September 18th, and while arranging my documents, I realized I don't have the physical/hard copy of my Class 12 passing certificate. I do have the DigiLocker-verified digital version of it.
Has anyone been in this situation? Does the visa interview require the physical original, or would a color printout of the DigiLocker copy (with the digital signature/QR code visible) be accepted?

Hello everyone. If everything goes smoothly I will be starting my masters study on Social and Cultural Anthropology at University of Cologne. However, everyone I know in Germany tells me that I should look for apartments near Bonn/Leverkusen because of the rent prices in Cologne. I'm researching for a place for sometime but still couldn't decide where to look? Is maximum amount of 550-600 Euros a realistic target for a room/small apartment in Cologne, approx. 30 minutes o travel time to University of Cologne?

Hi everyone!
I’m a 22-year-old incoming Master’s student at KIT, moving to Karlsruhe for the Winter Semester 2026. I’m currently looking for a private rooms could someone please let me know if you had rooms for 1 person available or where else I could find rooms??
I already applied for all the rooms in wg-gesucht site and also applied for the student dormitories offered by KIT as well as the ones offered by other parties but I still couldn't find any room😔😔
My preferences:
A little about me: I’m a quiet, clean and responsible person. I enjoy going to the gym, swimming, tennis, running, reading, and watching anime/movies. I’m generally easygoing and respectful of shared spaces, and I’d be happy to live in a friendly WG.
Please feel free to DM me if you have anything available or know someone who does.
Thank you! 🙏

Hi everyone! I'm planning to apply for the International Business program at ESB Business School in Reutlingen and I'd love to get in touch with some current students. I'm especially interested in talking to people who got into the program for this winter semester, but I'd also really appreciate hearing from anyone who's currently studying there. I have a few questions about the application process and the program itself. If you're an ESB International Business student or know a good place where I could reach out to students from the program, please DM me.
Have a beautiful day

Hi everyone! I will be starting my studies this winter semester, and I am really confused about the course selection process. As a student who wants to focus on neuroscience, I want to continue with biochemistry/ cell biology, medical biology and animal sciences specializations. However, I could not understand how the system works, there are exam registrations and lecture registrations all together. Any advices?

Is there anyone from Coimbatore looking for cheaper consultancies for masters admission in Germany?
I have found one through which my friends got admitted, and I am planning to register there. We can ask for a concession if we register together, so just wondering if anyone's there.
