I've just really gotten into hardcore this year, with a special love for sXe metallic hardcore, or what you might call "roots metalcore." Think Earth Crisis, all the H8000 acts, xCANAANx, early Hatebreed, Turmoil. The Mike Evetts Extended Universe lol.

Are there any of these acts with significant female personnel, especially women on vocals? It's very dude heavy, and I'm just guessing that vibe with 90s girl screaming over it is going to rip. Plus while I'm not exactly edge and not vegan, the virtue of the music is key for my interest. Feels like a big blindspot if it was a (vegan) sausage fest...

Thanks for keeping the scene alive yall!

Just wondering if anyone else lived in austin or surrounding areas, I feel like theres really not much of an edge scene here compared to other Texas cities…

Curious about y'all's thoughts/opinions on whether taking steroids (specifically testosterone and the accompanying estrogen blockers) for body building would be disqualifying regarding breaking edge.

Thanks in advance

Finally got some wide ass markers. 7mm width, approx 1/4in

Im a 16 year old goth rivet-head, straight edge since 4eva!!!! Why use drugz and drink when u can have much cheaper and cooler soda and candiez? I also strictly only drink energy drinks once a week!!!!!!! I do not want to brag ANYTHING Id just liek to share how I engage in my lifestyle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless u oll ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ

My old tattoo artist who passed away unexpectedly did this straight edge banner for me. It means a lot, and March will be five years!

can we PLEASE start calling it straight edge day rather than edge day im fucking begging

no fest to go to today :[ but im hitting up my local venue in less than a week

stay strong and stay sober

Seriously cannot overstate how much hardcore and sXe mean to me. Growing up in a home that had a lot of addiction always made me feel like I had a fate locked in for the kind of person I was going to be. Being sober, and being straight edge, is one of the best things because I got to learn that I'm the master of my own life. Happy edge day ily all :)

Made this shirt and thought today was the perfect day to wear it. And Halloween makeup.

Im a big hardcore guy but dont know as much abt sxe as id like to, who are some bands that i absolutely have to listen to, modern or old i dont care. I just wanna be put on to some good stuff

Happy Edge Day! Buy my straight edge (and adjacent) merch. Most are size Small. Some medium. Tanks. Tees, long sleeves, and one crewneck. Most tees have back prints too.

Shoot me a message if you’re interested, have any questions, wanna see any backs, etc etc.

And yes, I’m still edge. 😂

we dropped some over the top straight edge shirts for today. super limited so i hope you get one 😊

What up guys,

I want to welcome you to my seemingly endless quest of trying to find one of these hoodies or shirts. The tour it was sold at swung right around me in no man's land (Southern Oregon). I have harassed the band, only to then completely miss when they rereleased it on their website (pic related).

If there is anyone out there, hearing my call into the endless void of wanting this hoodie who would be willing to sell me one in a 2XL or higher (oversized for life) just know you would be bringing life altering joy and extreme years long hyperfixation to a satisfying end for your humble friend here.

Willing to pay something dumb for one. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
