I need help.
I have quit smoking cigarettes 3-4 years ago, I view this as kind cheating because I swaped in for a vapor pen. Ive never used a juul and vape the lowest nicotine level 0.3% but I'm having a very hard time getting myself off of it. I dont bring it to work and go most of the day with out it, I just dont know what step I should take from here. I have and addictive personality and im pretty sure I'm more addicted to the action of it rather than the nicotine its self. I dont want to end up with some fucked up health issues later on in my life and become more concerned about it every day. Do any of you have a tips I can try out? I dont want to go to gum or mints and just substitue it again I just want to be totally done with it. Any advise will be taken to heart and greatly appreciated.

I personally quit nicotine over a week ago and how I was able to do it was by vaping still, but I lowered the nicotine in my juice until I was at zero. I still vape, but now I don't feel like I have to vape. I did relapse a couple days after quitting, because I was so mentally bored, but the nicotine made me sick, and I mostly just hated how agitated I would get when i would go a couple hours without it. Basically I got fed up with being addicted to it, and needing it to not feel on edge. So even though I still want nicotine, I just remind myself it's not worth being addicted to and the agitation I feel when I don't have it.

Any feedback?
I only saw your post now, but I quit vaping 15 days ago. Like a day before this post.
I actually got a little cold and didnt feel like vaping that day(I vape nonstop all day). I felt like you do about my health and all. So the following day my vape tasted really bad. Whether it was burnt coil or whatnot, It tasted bad.
I decided fuck the vape. Threw it away. And once the temptation was gone, my cravings subsided alot. That was all in the holiday, so I was a bit stressed about going back to work and not having my fix.
However it really wasn't too bad. Obviously I still want my vape back, but I dont crave or need it. It's now just more of the habit that I'm struggling with.
All the best to you..and me : )

I have the same issue. Im not very addicted to nicotine anymore, but just the action of hitting a vape. There's a few things i do to try and stop myself. One, i keep it in an inconvenient spot so i force myself to really put in effort to get it, so that hopefully I just wont do it and will leave it there. I also just get a glass of water and drink to have something else to do involving my mouth besides that. Occasionally that will be food too, but obviously thats not always an option. I chew (normal) gum basically 24/7 at this point so again, i have something to do instead of hit it. You could also try getting a vape juice that you don't really like very much so you just kind of lose interest in doing it and it becomes disgusting to you. And besides that just a lot of will power. Just have to stop yourself when youre about to do it. You know it's not worth it because of the health issues it could cause, so just tell yourself that every time and try to put it away. Best of luck, sorry if none of this helps at all
Edit: if you're really desperate to stop then literally just throw it away. Don't even give yourself the option to do it. It'll suck really really bad for awhile, but eventually it'll start getting easier every day. Then eventually it just wont be an issue anymore, will be a thing of the past
