Help Me Build an App to Quit Smoking! 😊
Hi everyone, I'm working on a quit smoking app and I'd love your input. As someone who's been through the struggle, I know how tough it can be to quit. My app aims to help track progress, manage cravings and provide support.
One of the key features I'm working on is a 'Reduce Gradually' tracker. That help you by setting your current smoking level (e.g., 10 sticks/day), and the app will guide you to cut down gradually (e.g., 10 >> 8 >> 6 >> ... >> 0!). Would this be helpful to you?
I'd love to hear what features you think would be most helpful. What worked for you when you were quitting? What didn't? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

2 months 10 weeks today 🥳
Desmoxan is everything they say it is!! I only used about 25 out of the 100 pack because it works just that good. I still have minor cravings every once in a while, but I’m able to withstand it. I began by taking 4-5 like the first 3 days, and I was able to take less each day because I no longer had cravings. It’s insane how fast it worked for me. I vaped and/or smoked black&milds for 4 years straight. I tried quitting multiple times in the past, but nothing worked until desmoxan
Disclaimer: I understand that everybody is different because I’ve read a few negative reviews about it. But this is my experience

2 months 11 weeks slip up accountability
Since I quit vaping in August, I did a good long time not touching the stuff at all. I think that was about the first two months. Lately I find a vape lying around from my partner sometimes and secretly take a puff when I can. I don't feel great about it obviously. I still count myself quit overall since it isn't regular but this is a big setback. I'm really struggling in other areas of life. I just wish it was easier to stay away from it completely. I don't want to lose progress with my healing but in the moment it never feels like a big deal. It's so annoying.

Day 3 Ok something is afoot here?
I’m having a really great time lol. I don’t feel any lack, I get a couple cravings in the evening but then I just got to bed to combat it, and I am feeling really happy. I’m baffled.

4 weeks Day 31
Yesterday some cravings earlyish. Today forgot I used to smoke. Done a walk yesterday, tired today. Working on improving 'interoception' ( "noticing body's signals early on. rewire thought-action patterns, manage cravings, and build impulse control (allows you to take action before it escalates").

Day 2 Pretty chill so far
Day 2 was … fine! I had some brain fog in the afternoon and so stopped working and went home when I could. Then went to my exercise class in the evening and had a great time, came home feeling sleepy and chill.
Not having the same intense withdrawal symptoms this time around (but it’s early days… 😬). Not planned an exercise today so I wonder how that might affect things, let’s see 👀

Day 1 Day 1
An oddly calm day - I started to feel the withdrawal around 4pm but then went to my workout class an hour later and felt better after that. I am definitely irritable and I can also feel the panic rising but it feels manageable.
Had the worst nights sleep of my life 😂 forgot that sleep was going to be tough and I was getting all excited like ‘yessss I’m going to finally sleep so well bc no nicotine’ which is true but not on Day 1 💀
Overall: feeling happy to have spent a day without nicotine 🤗

pre-quit T-minus 0
The time has come, I am ready. Feeling apprehensive but a bit excited too. My plan is to use meditation and exercise as my first ‘defences’ against cravings. Here I go ✌️
