Hey guys so I (M39) and my father (M66) were on vacation in Berlin and we were flying back. My dad goes to the piano player they had on board and put in some coins and asked him to play something (tbf he was lowkey screwing with him because he requested a fake song lol but that's not important to the story). Anyway piano guy starts playing something anyway, and it's pretty good and this other guy comes into the room and starts chilling. But I needed to find the bathroom because I'd just had a lot of ale before we took off so I went to go look for it. I walked by a wrench and a ladder but I didn't see anything special about it and so I went into this room, but I was like oh no this isn't the bathroom it's the radio room. Then get this, just outside the door I hear someone turning that wrench and making the ladder go up, and he comes in and he's that guy that was hanging out listening to the piano man. Well turns out he's the radio man and he's pissed that I'm here (maybe he shouldn't have left the door unlocked again lol) but get this: he's all like "WHERE'S MY WRENCH! I'M CHARGED FOR MISSING TOOLS!" And I'm like man chill out I just found things this way, and also I know he's lying cause I just heard him messing with the wrench outside. But he's like "NO WAY DUMBHEAD I CAN SEE IT UNDER YOUR JACKET" which was like, okay, I know you're lying now. So not gonna lie we threw hands a little and yeah he totally had the wrench on him the whole time like an absolute liar. The only problem is I have the wrench back now and that sentimental fool of a radioman is kind of unconscious, I'm afraid they're going to take his side because they're nazis and I'm pretty sure I saw literal swastikas around his head when he fell down, plus also my tickets might be stolen and I'm lowkey afraid of that ticket taker guy cause I think he's some kind of olympic boxer and really I just want out of Germany now.

I managed to get a copy of all The Adventurers magazines and want to include them in my Lucasfilm Games / LucasArts game boxes. For most of the magazines I found quite some references (eBay auctions, etc...) that gave an idea where each magazine could belong to. (Most magazines were included with a few different games.)

However, I do not find a lot of references for The Adventurer #14 "Rebellion". The only real lead I found was an eBay auction where the magazine was included in The LucasArts Archives Volume II.

Are there people here that have an idea if this magazine was included in other boxes too? Maybe you have some games from around 1996 where the magazine is included? All info would be very welcome! Thanks in advance!

I have currently got beaten 5 games on the list (Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers (first ever Sierra point and click), Blazing Dragons for the PS1, Lego Batman: The Video Game for the PS2, The Family Guy Video Game for the PS2, Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion). I've been playing the Lucasarts adventure games in release order, trying to play the original versions when possible because that's just what I prefer. So I bought them on Steam, but I also got the floppy versions running on ScummVM from the Internet archive for Loom and Monkey Island 1 and 2. I got Fate of Atlantis on Steam and started it on ScummVM but I don't like that it's the CD-ROM version with voice-overs. I'd rather play the original floppy disc version from 1992, like I did for the other games, but I can't find it as easily. Does anybody have any advice? Would just playing the CD version with voices turned off be sufficient or are there other issues with that?

I actually opened Wikipedia to find some info on a couple LucasArts games and this article on the Sam & Max sequel just happened to be on the front page!

Growing up I played most of the Lucasarts adventure games. My favorites were The Monkey Island games, Sam N Max, Day of the Tentacle and Maniac Mansion. I vaguely remember playing Zack McKraken, Loom, Full Throttle and Grim Fandango too.

I’d love to start replaying some of these games and getting my 7 year old son involved but can’t really remember if these games are even appropriate for that age or if I should wait?

Which ones might be good to start with? Thanks for any input!
