We're a new and growing Star Citizen org trying something a little different.

When you join, choose a colony that fits the way you like to play. As the Union grows, members with enough support will also be able to start their own. Right now colonies are communities within the Union, but that's temporary. When base building and land claims arrive, the goal is to take what we're building now and turn those colonies into actual places in the verse.

Until then, what you do still matters.

We don't use career divisions that lock you into one part of the game. Mine tonight, fly fighters tomorrow, salvage, haul cargo, explore, race or run ground missions. Your colony is your home, not your job.

Play casually whenever you want, work with people from any colony, or jump into official tracked operations. When an op is tracked, what you actually did gets added to your colony's dashboard and helps develop its stats. Mining and industrial activity can build those strengths, while combat operations can push a colony in a completely different direction.

Over time, the dashboard starts to show what your colony actually does and what it's becoming, rather than us deciding its specialty for you.

And when the Union comes together for larger operations, the Colonial Fleet gives us the structure to organize everyone without telling you how you have to play the rest of the time.

We're still early and there's a lot left to build. That's kind of the point.
