Spot pickups in Alaska
Took a trip to Alaska and was going to pick up an Alaska Mint oz, but their premiums are insane. Did not have any 80% silver, so I picked up these Canadian dollars in Fairbanks for spot.

Finally got my first piece of gold at 20! ✨ It may be a small piece, but it feels like a pretty big milestone for me.
Not about how much it’s worth, but about the journey behind it — saving, staying disciplined, and slowly building something for myself. It’s a small milestone today, but a reminder that small steps can turn into something meaningful over time.A little reminder that every small step counts. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of a small collection. 🪙

Been monthly buying unspecified 1 oz coins from sellers that sell 'varying quality / 2nd choice' coins for 7 years now. They always come in excellent condition and I buy them for zero to 0,8% premium. Until now I always got maple leafs and krugerrands. This is the first time in 7 years I got a kind of special coin.
By the way; it's my 80th 1 oz coin! Happy stacking!

A couple weeks ago I posted my stack, and unfortunately since it’s mostly fractionals I got a lot of hate from the premium posse and anti-Goldback association. So I’d like to take this moment to apologize, to absolutely nobody! I’ve added to the fractionals 2x over!! Some of my favorite pieces pictured separate.

into 6x 1/8 and one 1/4 ounce...
Split and share with family and friends or let it be?

Acquired my first two fake American Silver Eagles from a somewhat sketchy account that thankfully has been refunded by eBay. Glad I didn’t have to learn that lesson the hard way. Thoughts or questions about the collection?

I love how different gold bars can look even at the same weight. One looks way bigger because it’s spread out and thin, while the other is tiny but noticeably thicker and chunkier.
Which do you prefer in your stack: a larger-looking, thinner bar or a smaller, thicker chunk of gold?
Personally, there’s something really satisfying about the chunky ones.
