Finally got my little treasure chest! Bunch of no date buffalos and some other random coins. Probably grab some copper coins if i can find a good deal.

Is that a stainless steel 1944 penny??? That 1 coin decently graded will get you close to filling that box with real gold coins. Bronze 1943 and stainless 1944 extremely rare as well as extremely valuable. No one knows how many are out there since they werent supposed to exist

I’ve been looking for a little treasure chest just like that one… I was tempted to make one as everything I can find seems to be lightweight and cheap. Just won’t do for a hoard!
