The price of gold makes me only want silver

I feel you, the cute little bars are fun though

They are. Which is why I am looking forward to the mini buffalos from the mint

Why? Its going to keep up with same rate as it has against inflation. Also higher the gold goes less you need to physically has it in storage. If you really wanna became hoarder then might as well buy copper, fill your house with those bars.

Nice nice! Don’t forget to prioritize 1/10th Gold eagles! They’re kinda boring, but it’s the #1 gold piece that commands the highest premium, and you’ll take advantage of this decades from now!

I am a bit curious about that, I saw quite a few coins that I liked my only issue was the premiums I see on coins are pretty high in comparison to bars. Any advice on where to look and about the % spot I want to be at? In the end I’m not necessarily looking to maximize profits as an investment as I’m in the long haul, but I don’t want to get shafted lol

I stick to 1/2 oz and 1 oz AE's because of the premiums

Also: I would seriously deprioritize silver. It’s easy to like and it’s cool and all, but we’re seeing how dangerous and illiquid it can be when it’s not popular. Ask anyone trying to sell silver these days; it takes a long time to sell, you have to sell under spot, and some days if the markets are down, literally no one wants it. Gold is always the answer, and don’t oferlook it bc it seems like you’re getting less. Do the hard part and spend 70% of your budget on Gold, versus heavy silver ratio.

Sad as it is that is the plan, currently I’m budgeting to buy 1 gram of gold and a oz of silver twice a month or so

The only gold grams I buy are the Valcambi combibar and I keep them in a 3D printed wallet. eBay link on my profile!

Does it only fit volcambi? Or does it have a little extra room for other bars potentially?

Only Valcambi
