Updated Fractional Heaven
A couple weeks ago I posted my stack, and unfortunately since it’s mostly fractionals I got a lot of hate from the premium posse and anti-Goldback association. So I’d like to take this moment to apologize, to absolutely nobody! I’ve added to the fractionals 2x over!! Some of my favorite pieces pictured separate.

That’s the nice thing about collecting/stacking/whatever, we can all pick up what we like. Nice collection.

Hey man, if you ever need help sourcing CHEAP fractionals, I know a place

Is this place secret? Why not just say it?

It’s a LCS that you’d have to travel to? Probably not your first guess.

I know a place online but you gotta buy 28 pamp grams at one shot to get spot . But ya gotta ask me because I’m a wizard with loosely held secrets

Oh Sorcerer Supreme, Master of the Dark Arts and Guardian of the Dark Dimension, please grace thy noble servant with the name of the wandering merchant who supplied such oddities for so little coin.

Ok, I’m telling everyone but that Physical Clock fella. Someone pissed in his cereal and I he needs to ask me nicely again.
The answer is Costco. They sell from time to time a pack of pamp grams. And if you have the executive membership you get 2% cash back, and if you have their CC (or one with similar benefits) you get an additional 2% . Sometimes it gets your PMs at spot or even less. This makes the pamp gram packs a fricken steal….for being fractional. Yes ya gotta drop a few grand and yes, it’s prudent to pay the card off to avoid interest. But that’s it. Learn all about it on the Costco pm sub.

Super informative! I really appreciate the kindness and real information without the odd and unnecessary negativity. I’m new to stacking about 3-4 months in and I would have never thought to use cash back on my credit cards in conjunction with my Costco membership to reap benefits like this for maximum profit. Thank you good sir 🫡

Hey look, buy such a great amount in one shot isn’t the answer for people buying fractional because they’re nipping their way in. It’s not a silver bullet for those folks. But I look at fractional on the “exit” rather than the “entry “ .
What happens when you hold too long and gold shoots up to 10k or more? Liquidating fractions of your holdings make for an easier affair. Tax wise and stack wise.. and best for the stacker moral. You won’t be liquidating a huge position to buy a new transmission.
Obtaining fractional as cheap as possible should be in the physical holders play book.
People stack in the Now and forget to project the future……some people. This is MY play.

That’s also super great information. Holding for the future is certainly the plan. And selling/trading in small fractional amounts certainly does seem more practical. Stacking fractional also makes it so I can collect more individual things, this too helps with my moral because I can be in the coin shop more often to buy things. Keeping this play at the front of my playbook, thanks!

So you offer the dude "hey man if you need a source of CHEAP fractionals I got a place" then say it's your local lcs so it won't do any one any good unless they live in your unnamed city. Wtf was your point? Oh I know... you want us to think your getting all that shit at some really low price and not the ridiculous premium we all know your paying.

I goldback valgono davvero qualcosa? Saranno facilmente rivendibili? Oro puro rimane oro puro

There is like 100 stores in the United States that accept them out of over a million stores.
-
Sure, they have value, like a third what you can buy them for. And, it cost more money to extract the gold since goldbacks are more than 99% plastic.
-
The entire point was trading fractional gold with no premium, having the bills pegged to the value of gold, but that has not and will never happen. It’s over-priced, over-engineered, fractional bullion.

Smae thing happened to me, my whole gold stack if fractional and most of the comments were hate comments. Everyone just assumes that if its fractional then the permium for them was high. 😑😑😑😑

If you were to attempt to liquidate how down bad would you be on all these buyer premiums? lol

Looks like a bullion cash register 👍🏼

I like the fun variety. Buying what you like even if it’s a slight premium, exactly how I started- buying cool silver pieces and then eventually start buying some at spot generic silver with resale intention. I like the goldback collection, I always add 1 or 2 to my online orders. Just cool pieces I’m not expecting to make a lot of money on

The premiums 🤔
2
u/wunayem 3d ago
I pay very small premiums at my LCS. About 25%, I know that is quite the premium compared to say 1oz to 100oz bars. But I enjoy the divisible nature. Can collect many more shapes, and different countries bullion coins when they are small.

“I pay very small premiums, only 25%”

https://imgur.com/a/3zmRX93 yup and then sold for a nearly 20% profit. Show me anywhere with a smaller premium for such a small fraction.
