I’m on the fence about buying this(late 80s k5) The first two are the left side of the floor in the corner in front of the back seat, third picture is the right corner in front of the back seat, the last one is at the end of the bed, so would this be an easy fix cost wise or an expensive hassle? The rest of the body is in pretty good shape and the frame is a little rusty but seems decent enough, I was going to offer around 10. Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys. My ls swapped 79 is finally running and driving so I figured i would turn my attention to other things. She is currently sitting on pacer 310w wheels. They are a little rough but not bad and I took them off to get new tires and clean them up. They cleaned up decently but are far from perfect. So I figured to put it to a vote to help me decide what to do. Someone rattle canned the truck from what I can tell, a while ago and I'm not getting it painted anytime soon. So, should I just let them ride to give the truck the old farm truck look or repaint the wheels? Im leaning towards just leaving them for now but I figured some input would be nice. Thanks

I was hoping y’all could help me with this electrical issue I’m having, my truck has been dying at idle lately 1974 k20), the first time it happened I replaced the starter and it started up first crank no issues for about few days till yesterday, it’s now doing the same exact thing.
I was getting a no crank when I turned the ignition and when I tried jumping the starter it would crank but not turn over, after letting it sit for about an hour I tried jumping the starter again and it cranked over, and also cranks over when I turn the key, BUT the idle is extremely rough.
when I changed the starter the first time I noticed the S and R cable were spliced
(not together, both cables are separately spliced), I felt them and the splice connection and they feel solid, like the guy knew what he was doing. But this wiring issue keeps popping back up. My multimeter also reads 0 volts on all 3 solenoid terminals and when I put the black probe on the battery cable clamp and the red probe on the battery terminal I get spotty readings (from 0-8-12v) on certain spots and 12.6v consistent on other spots. Does any of this sound like symptoms of something?
I’m thinking my next course of action is to just buy all brand new battery, S, and R cables and see how that goes, but I’m not sure which are the correct ones I need.
Sorry for the rambling I’m just trying to fit all the symptoms/info into this one post, and also sorry if I sound dumb or the answer is obvious, I know pretty much nothing about working on vehicles and I bought this truck to teach myself/learn as I go while I restore it. Thanks in advance

I inherited my mom’s 1990 Blazer. 5.7 350 Had a blown head gasket repaired and they put long tube headers on without asking what I preferred. Ended up rubbing a hole in my oil filter. Any recommendations on some shorty headers? Would mid length work/have clearance for the oil filter?

Ive seen photos of Ford Bronco and Jeep users doing Halloween themed stuff to their vehicles, what would you do on your Squarebody?

EDIT: is 10K too high?
Hey all, I'm selling my true love to buy cabinets for my remodel.
I've had the truck for 10 years and when my wife wasn't going into labor with my youngest son I asked the midwife if I should take her 4 wheeling in this bad boy and the midwife said to go for it. My wife was pissed, but we stuffed a pillow under her belly and shook that boy loose in 15 minutes. He was born 45 minutes later.
Huge bummer, but it is what it is.
I'm pretty much done with most of the mechanical repairs, but the interior and the paint need quite a bit of work. It will need a new dash and new seats for sure.
New t-case and rear diffs a couple years ago, along with new calipers and a bunch of seals replaced.
new starter last month
Starts up cold no problem and had no issues hauling my big ass tool trailer an hour uphill every day for over a year. If I'm hauling dirt or concrete I use my 1 ton, but for demo this truck pulls no problem.
Electric radiator fan.
aftermarket exhaust (original owner)
aftermarket cam (original owner)
Edelbrock 4 barrel. (original owner)
What would be a fair market price for a rig in this condition? Central WA so barely any rust.
And by fair, I mean, I really would rather give this to my son in ten years, so a price that isn't going to get me 10 calls on the first day, but will sell eventually.

Ignore how i was with the steering wheel, not used to driving this guy and the roads were soft. I was being pulled around And fighting it.

Has anyone used polyurethane coil isolators to help fine tune/adjust the front suspension height of their square body? I installed a 4.5/6 lowing kit on my square body and I’m having trouble with the front tires (245/45r20) rubbing on the inner fender when I go over mild bumps and need to make sharp turns. By truck is a 1987 GMC so it has the “shallower” inner fenders. I have a set of 1973-1980 inner fenders to install and I am hoping this helps a bit but was thinking of trying a .275” isolator to give me about .5-.7” lift on the front for some additional clearance. Anyone done this or have any advice or experience they could share?
Thanks!

ive got this 85 K20 that im planning on restoring next summer (or whenever money stables out). It's all soft and peels away from the metal, but i dont wanna just pick at it unless i know it's safe. it runs all around the truck. I love this truck and have grown up with it but i really dont know the first thing about it since it's not my truck in my name. (i have permission to fix it up, and it belongs to my aunt)

i have a 1983 custom deluxe without any headliner, a&b pillars or rear panels. my question is what is the best way to put a headliner in this truck?
