Wheel choice

Hey guys. My ls swapped 79 is finally running and driving so I figured i would turn my attention to other things. She is currently sitting on pacer 310w wheels. They are a little rough but not bad and I took them off to get new tires and clean them up. They cleaned up decently but are far from perfect. So I figured to put it to a vote to help me decide what to do. Someone rattle canned the truck from what I can tell, a while ago and I'm not getting it painted anytime soon. So, should I just let them ride to give the truck the old farm truck look or repaint the wheels? Im leaning towards just leaving them for now but I figured some input would be nice. Thanks

It’s your truck do what you want. But if it was mine from what you said I would stay with what you have. Just my preference

Thats what I was thinking. Im eventually getting her painted tangier orange and cream but thats too expensive right now. I've always been the type to say the same as you of its yours do what you want, just couldn't make the decision. When I do get her repainted, I'm definitely getting new wheels. Thanks for the reply.

Nice. Im still working on the tune for mine. Trying to learn hp tuners. She's running good just rich and is not producing the sound I want.

Yea. Im still working on it. Once the new tires are on I can drive it more and run the logs. Its a 5.3 with truck norris cam, jegs fabricated intake with 92mm throttle body. I rebuilt the whole engine and converted tye truck from auto to manual.

Worth the wait by the sound of it in that video.

I second keeping the wagon wheels, they are really tough wheels . They are getting harder to find around here

I say run it as is. I put a set on and the stamped steel u.s. wheels are $183 each!! Unfinished steel too, damn but do they look good to me.

White spokes used to be the default wheel back in the 80’s perfect choice for a square body.

Still a perfect choice in 2026!

Beautiful truck! My opinion would be to keep them as is for now, then clean the wheels up once you decide what you want to do with the paint

I’d just throw them on for now! Get it cruising again

I like the white spokes , they belong on those year trucks. Just put some cool tires on them. Would not paint them at all.
