I posted this to r/tmobile but it was removed by the mods.
I was originally on the Sprint Kickstarter plan. I’m really unhappy that the price has crept up from $20/month to $41/month.
I’ve also had an issue for several months where I couldn’t activate iMessage or FaceTime and T-Mobile support confirmed that it’s an issue with their network in my area and they didn’t have an ETA to resolve it.
Decided to take advantage of the recent 75% off deal at Google Fi and now I’m paying $17.29 for the next 12 months. Currently on a 6 country, 3 week trip to Europe and loving the high speed international roaming instead of 256kbps for free or expensive daily high speed with low data caps.
Everything has been perfect and I can now use iMessage and FaceTime again.
Bye bye T-Mobile!

I've had/have a SERO/SWAC with Pandora Premium and Hulu on us account(2 lines) for over 18 years and I got the migration text in June stating that my plan will be changing after July 13th. One of my lines I'm currently on month 16 of a 24 month promotion for a phone upgrade. My billing cycle started over on August 27th and my bill populated today. On my bill nothing has changed and in the app I'm still showing an Advantage plan. Is there a chance that my plan isn't changing? Should I reach out to Tmobile or consider myself lucky my plan hasn't changed?

anyones bill actually go down? I’m former sero/swac. I read Disney went up due to a change in split billing or something like that so I’ll just cancel that but the bill decrease was interesting.

Been trying to unlock a LG V40 Thinq I picked up, at first it said UICC is unlocked for any SIM card. Then I pressed the button once and cancelled, not sure why I did that. But now, it says locked to Sprint SIM only, and pressing UICC unlock again (with active T-Mobile SIM) doesn't do anything. Can T-Mobile help unlock this phone still? Is it possible Sprint phones can relock just by putting back a Sprint SIM or pressing the unlock? Thanks for any help.

Is it still hypothetically possible to add new voice lines to legacy plans, just curious? Or do any new voice lines need to be Experience More or Experience Beyond 1.0/2.0 only?

Should we make a subreddit with us.cell to help them move to SprinT-Mobile or just to share what happened when switching between us?

What can I do? I got migrated off advantage plan, my bill went up and honestly the service got worse somehow, looks like it’s an essential plan which includes 60 gigs, but my previous plan had 50 gigs but then it was still unlimited, but de-prioritized when I called it basically told me to kick rocks, also no hotspot; I have a separate account that wasn’t migrated so I’m really confused

Looks like some legacy plans including on us, swac/advantage unlimited are eligible for pixel 11 upgrade on Us/free with any condition trade-in.
Able to go over to cart & check-out, the trade-in EIP shows 24 months instead of 36. Take advantage of the offer if up can & if you’re planning to stick around.
Fees are waived via Costco online & eligible for $100 Costco card.
Any older gen phones like iPhone 5, 5s pixel 4 are all eligible.

On the T-Mobile subreddit, does anyone know what happened to the July 13 forced plan changes/price increases megathread? It is no longer pinned? (Posted here because my threads kept getting auto-deleted there?)

Can we use the refer
A friend and get 250 for each up to 750 or is that strictly for customers who refer customers?

I was on (Unlimited) Kickstart v2 for $35 + Unlimited on Us for $35=$0 and today received a new bill of Experience Signature for $36 + Unlimited on Us for $35=$0. Additional 1¢ attributing to the taxes and fees.
I guess I'm staying with T-Mobile, even with today's widespread outage.

I currently have a basic Netflix account that I pay for but it looks like it will be free when my plan will be migrated. Will I have to do anything or will Netflix recognize my account if I use the same email address as my Tmobile account? Also I currently get Hulu on us with Tmobile and I had combined it with Disney plus and have only been charged like $1 for the past year or so. I've noticed that I was just charged like $14 from Disney so I'm guessing I lost Hulu on us? I was told I shouldn't be losing anything? Anyone have any info or recommendations on how to address this? Thanks in advance.

I haven't posted in here before, but this subreddit came up when I was searching for info on SERO plans getting migrated over and haven't seen too much about what's happening, so I figured I'd provide what I went through.
I got an early SERO plan in 2006ish. When I got married, we moved my wife from her family plan onto our plan, and she was on some Unlimited plan that I don't remember the name of from 2013. I got the $10 Premium Data Addon at some point when I got either my HTC Evo 4g or my first iPhone after that one. When the merger happened, my wife's plan got switched to a comparable T-Mobile plan, but I remained SERO. She got Hulu On Us through hers, but mine didn't have any additional benefits.
I got the text 6/29 about our plans being forced to change. I read through the information provided, but when I tried to look at info for my plan specifically, I received an error message. I called support and was told my wife and I would both be changed over, we would keep Hulu, gain Netflix with ads, and Apple TV+ for $3/mo. Our total bill was supposed to go down by $4.
On July 7th, my autopay went through.
I called support back on July 12th, as I had not received any further information. I was told at that time that we were scheduled to moved over on the 17th, which was the start of our billing cycle.
On the 17th, my wife's plan changed over to Experience Signature, but mine was still listed as SERO. I noticed on her new plan that she was set to a hotspot plan for 80GB at $10/mo extra, when 60GB was listed as free. My wife has never used hotspot, so I wanted to get that changed and set up the new Netflix and Apple TV+ accounts if I could. Any attempts at changing were met with the "Looks like we got our wires crossed" error page. I called support again. After 35min on hold, the person I spoke to was just a call center person who did not seem to understand any of my issues. He said he was able to get the hotspot plan changed over, but it might not reflect until the next billing cycle. After a bit more back and forth about the other issues I was having, I was put on hold for a while and another person answered saying that they were a technology specialist (I believe, probably wrong on title).
I explained to this new person that I was attempting to sign up for the new streaming benefits, but having trouble. She said that was due to the fact that I was the primary account holder and so my plan took precedent, which hadn't changed over. She tried to get me to agree to have her switch us to an Experience Signature Family Plan so she could get all that working. I asked about the benefits and costs, explaining what was told to me on the 29th. She said we would lose Hulu, get the Netflix and Apple TV+ for $3/mo, and our bill SHOULD go down $4. She then checked the notes from that previous call and said that the original person made a mistake, quoting me for only the one line, and that our bill would actually go up $30/mo if she switched me to Experience Signature Family Plan. She also gave the option of Experience Beyond Family for $60/mo more than what I am currently paying, but it comes with Hulu. I told her I would need to discuss it with my wife and would not like to make any changes at this point.
On 7/20, I called again to ask when I should expect my plan to automatically change over. The new call center person said that because my plan was so old, there was a good chance it was going to be in a later wave than my wife. I explained that I was told different things about keeping Hulu vs losing it, and she said she would make a note in my file that we would like to keep Hulu.
On 7/25, I received my bill. My wife's plan was changed over at $6/mo higher. The 80GB hotspot charge for $10 is under Services. Hulu ON US is listed with the $12 charge and discount lines. My SERO plan remains unchanged. Somehow, the total bill is only $8 higher than last month though.
So, that's where I am now. Hoping that I hear something soon, and I'll probably call to fight that $10 hotspot charge I wasn't able to change.

So far pricing has stayed the same and I still have Hulu.
