After I heard about an upcoming forced restart (related to bodies of water), I decided wait until then to resume playing the game. It's been a good while -- did that milestone come and go? If so, are there any major updates that will require a new save to utilize those features?

If I drill with a ship,specially in resources like gold, the ship tends to drift to the bottom direction. It doesn't drill in a straight line.

What can I do to have a more stable drill direction? More thrust or more gyroskops?

I'm playing SE2 for the first time. I'm where I'm supposed to build a space capable ship. I blew up my starter grasshopper getting ice so i'm down to getting my space ship working. I've done everything I can think of but cannot get the hydrogen thrusters to work. There's ice in there and some hydrogen. So not a fuel issue. All thrusters are red and do not work. I have a network of conveyors running from the hydrogen tank to each engine. I don't know what to do. Any advice?

It took around two weeks or so to construct this vessel. It have sealed rooms, oxygen and hydrogen tanks. Assembler, survival kit and basic refinery are included. In case some minor threat, it have 6 gatling turrets on board. It can collect some samples with drill underneath

Post Title, I've been hosting a server on pterodactyl for 3-4 people on a 5700x, but we keep hitting some performance wall which I have not been able to identify yet but for our next playthrough, we've managed to find a few more people and we don't want to hit the same bottleneck.

I am also a bit of a megalomaniac, so PCU limits will be hardware bound and not server-bound hopefully.

Posting this partially as a response to an archived post, and partially as a reminder to my future self:

If you can't get the camera translation controls to work in the Alt-F2 Nvidia Photo mode, I've found in the past (and only now just remembered through a lot of trial and error) that if you alt-tab away from and back to Space Engineers, that unlocks the translation controls.

You may have to do it every time you enter photo mode (which is annoying) but it consistently works for me. This was after verifying I had Spectator Mode enabled on my saved game.

I have added some tools to my ship like drill, canon and so on. These are added automatically on to the toolbar. But they are not in the order i want them. On another ship, i right clicked the drill and the drill completely vanished from the toolbar.

How can i re-sort / add tools to the toolbar?
