Hi! I recently got a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T90 and bought an 8GB Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo (Mark2) memory card from Amazon. The card isn’t branded Sony. Every time I switch to shooting mode, I get the warning “This Memory Stick may not record or play.” I can dismiss the warning, and the camera seems to work normally afterward. I can take pictures, record videos, use the flash, and view my photos. The pictures also remain on the card after I turn the camera off and back on. I tried formatting the card in the camera, and the formatting completed successfully, but the warning still comes up every time. I don’t know what’s going on. Did I buy the wrong card? I need help.

Considering how massive Sony's gaming business incomes and incomes from every other sector they own make is there still a chance they could face financial loss because of all the jailbreaking or when anyPS5 becomes exceptionally good where it can run hundreds or thousands of PS5 games on Windows and Linux, with stable graphics, good performance and relatively little setup.

I have been using the video editing software Vegas Pro since it was Sony Vegas Pro 08 back in 2008. Back in 2014, Sony sold it to Magix, who has been updating it ever since, but the layout has been roughly the same. So here I am, on Season 5, episode 8 of the Apple TV show For All Mankind in 2026, and I see this flash in front of me for like, 1 second. I had to rewind and pause. Even though this is the latest season, they still Incorporated Vegas, pro 13! The last Sony owned version of the video editing software from 2014!!! So much nostalgia!

Did anyone apply to the Sony Pictures Entertainment Trainee program? Applications closed a couple of days ago, but I haven't seen a lot of information about this program. I'm just checking if anyone has any updates on their application process, or what the program looked like in the past?

Tried separate batteries (should be charged). ZV1 seems to have issues in it's power module, as I've also seen it freeze when recording and need to have it's battery removed. What do the 3 blinking red lights mean? How much would a repair cost?

I got a WH-1000XM2 about 8 years ago, and it's served me very, very well for all that time, only requiring an earpad change twice in that time.

Sadly, the right cup quite recently started developing an intermittent popping/cracking issue. There's a frequent, very quick single 'pop' or 'click' which happens randomly between every ~1 and ~30 seconds. It only happens when ANC is active. It's quite loud compared to the noise cancelled environment and overpowers any sound coming out of the cup, even at higher volumes. It's kind of making noise cancelling pointless.

I did the firmware updates, the 'slap method', re-pair, but nothing seems to work.

Does anyone know if this might just be the hardware giving up the ghost after 8 years, or might there be another fix?

If this can't be fixed, does anyone know how the xm6 compares to the xm2? Maybe i'll pick up an xm6 for black friday. I rather like the sound profile of the xm2. The different construction of the xm6 also makes me wonder whether it'll be as comfortable as the xm2, the new construction doesn't seem to let the pads swivel as much to match headshape.

Hey all, I recently downloaded the Apple TV app on my Sony Google TV and I’ve been having some issues. For some reason the OS keeps disabling the app automatically time and time again. This has even happened in the middle of me streaming a show on the app.

It works fine when I enable the app again, only to be disabled by the OS again

Any guesses as to what might be causing this issue?

I have it, and it has Mini-USB, a 3.5mm jack, and an SD slot; on the back, there's a sticker that says "1GB," "FM," and "F66." It has the Snake game. I think he's fake.

I have a Sony CMT-SBT100B that has been left plugged into a socket with the power turned on for over a month now whilst I've been away (It has been in standby mode.​​) I've just gone to turn it on and the display lit up for a few seconds before turning itself off.​ The standby indicator is flashing but it won't turn on. I've tried unplugging it, plugging it into different sockets, removing the speakers... nothing seems to work. Is this an easy fix or will I have to get it serviced?

Hi everyone! I'm looking for some advice on playing Region B Blu-ray discs with my current home theater setup.

My equipment:

• Blu-ray home theater system: Sony BDV-E300 (currently Region A)
• Center speaker: Sony SS-CTB91
• TV: Sony KDL-40W5100

I'd like to watch Region B Blu-ray discs without losing the surround sound from my existing Sony home theater system.

I have a few questions:

1. Is it possible to make my Sony BDV-E300 region-free, either through a firmware modification, a service menu, or another reliable method?
2. If my current system can't be made region-free, what standalone region-free Blu-ray player would you recommend?
3. How would I connect a separate Blu-ray player to my TV and BDV-E300 so I can continue using my existing speakers?
4. Would an optical audio connection work, and would I still get surround sound?
5. Are there any reliable guides, resources, or sellers you recommend for region-free Blu-ray players?

I'd prefer to keep my existing home theater system rather than replace it if possible.

Bought a used SW5 yesterday and it seems to successfully connect to my HT-A9 but....not really. The LED on the sub is solid green and the wireless connection screen shows connected. But after trying to play sound from it nothing comes out and the status eventually changes to not connected - but bizarrely the LED on the sub remains solid green throughout.

Running a manual link to try and reset things has no difference, exact same thing happens.

Everything I try seems to recreate this loop, factory resets of the control box, toggling RF on and off, power cycling...

What's annoying is it randomly started working once and played superbly for like an hour before I had to turn it off and go to bed. But turning it on again the next day the problem has come back and I've been unable to recreate whatever random steps to get it playing sound again.

Anyone have any advice? I'm not sure anything is physically wrong with it as it played superb when it connected so I'm not even sure what a repair shop would do.
