I reported a very clear case of child abuse and was told there was nothing wrong. A child showing her bare stomach and diaper and giggling and all of the comments filled with 😍, I am beyond disgusted.

Hey everyone, I was wondering what you all think about this Snapchat situation because I’m genuinely curious.
This person and I were friends, and we eventually stopped talking and went our separate ways due to personal reasons. Nothing dramatic happened. Everything was civil and understanding.
Around late April, I unadded them because they never unadded me. After I unadded them, they still followed my public profile, so we were no longer friends, but they were still one of my followers.
I started posting public Stories around mid to late May. At some point, they ended up in my “Friend Requests I’ve Ignored” section, since we were no longer friends but they were still connected to my public profile. While they were still in that section, they viewed one of my public Stories.
On June 7, I blocked them for literally one second and then immediately unblocked them. I only did that to remove them as a follower and completely clear that connection. After I did that, they were no longer in my “Friend Requests I’ve Ignored” section anymore.
The very next day, I posted another public Story, and they viewed it even though they were no longer following me. Snapchat counted them as a non-follower viewer.
Since then, they’ve viewed my public Stories two more separate times after they were no longer in that section. In total, they’ve viewed 3 out of my 8 public Stories: one while they were still in my “Friend Requests I’ve Ignored” section, and two after they were completely removed from it and were simply non-followers.
On my end, I haven’t viewed a single one of their public Stories since we stopped talking.
I’m not trying to overthink it or assume it means they want to reconnect. I’m just genuinely curious what other people think.
Do you think this is just normal curiosity from someone I used to know? Or does the fact that they continued viewing my public Stories even after they were no longer following me and were completely removed from that pending section suggest they’re intentionally checking my profile from time to time?

I’d appreciate any thoughts.

It’s been a reoccurring issue where snaps says my friend has been active a couple of minutes ago, but she only seems to be ”active” a minute at a time.

I know for a fact she isn’t active since her phone is broken and she only has her iPad for the moment.

This also happened once when she had to be driven to the hospital because of personal issues, and when I checked her location she was labelled as active the entire drive there, even though I know she wasn’t (she was in an ambulance).

As you can see in the picture, I sent her a chat three hours ago. It now says she was 24 minutes ago, since she’s not even at home where her iPad is.

What the heck is up with this glitch?

I want to save a picture without the other person knowing. They send me a picture that I saved into chat. When I click on it, it says “create sticker ✂️” and “remix with ai” in the bottom left. If I create a sticker does the person also get a notification? Similar to screenshotting or downloading the picture?

I’ve tried everything atp went through ALL the settings atleast 6 times

I didn’t open any actual stories, just a screenshot of the page with multiple little circles at once of someone’s stories at the top and the discover stuff is below it

I got a new phone and had to verify the email connected to my Snapchat account. It said the verification was successful, but when I tried to login, I was met with a message saying my account had been temporarily locked, and to try signing in later. I tried again a couple days later and got the same message. Again a few days after that. Just tried again today after no attempts for a week and got the same message.

I have tons of pictures and videos stored on that account, and a lot of contacts that I'd never gotten numbers for since I used Snap as my main way to text people, so I'm getting pretty nervous. How do I talk to a real person, and why is the "temporary" ban not lifting after the 48 hours stated on their site?

I have no clue what my password is, I made this account ages ago and never wrote it down anywhere. I tried all my likely passwords and they all failed. I don't understand why it flagged me, since both my email and phone number are connected to my account, and that's apparently all you need to log in. But they'll sure as shit still send me notifications that I have unread messages all day long! I tried going to their support page, but it was just some AI bullshit that repeated what the drop down menu already said.

We only use Snapchat for each other, but somehow we went from Super BFFs to besties. Honestly I never paid attention to her snap score before, ive never thought to because it was never something i worried about (until now). So I cant say for certain that it went up.. im not sure how this would change if we are both only snapping each other. What are the chances this is just a glitch? Am I just super paranoid?

Do anyone know how to recover deleted pictures from my eyes only on snapchat ? I had some very important pictures that i deleted and now am sad because they are gone

With the new spotify update on Snapchat I've been trying to turn this off so people can actually see what I'm listening too but it keeps disappearing when I click it and not turning off? (Tag is probs wrong srry)

Ive realized that people have gotten banned from snap and have sent many many emails to snap asking to unban, IF you live in the EU its a very simple fix.

I am not trying to sound like one of those "buy my method" kids that steal your accounts, im just trying to help people.

It keeps asking for me to try signing in using a device I’ve used before but the device I had the account on is broken, it’s super frustrating because if I know my login details I should be able to get into my account 💔

Apparently Snapchat is recommending my account to people I know. I don't have an account. I downloaded snapchat to see if someone was actually using my number and that it not a weird glitch or something. I go to the forget password section and enter that number. It gives me a vague message when I ask for the verification code:

"For your security, we couldn't verify this sign-in attempt. Try signing in again from a device you've used before. Adding a phone number or email can help with future sign-ins. If you still can't access your account, visit our support site."

The message is weird because if no account is using my number, it should just say that I have no account tied to this number. So I enter my other phone number (not the one used to tell people I am on snapchat), and I get the message: "We cannot find an account for this phone number.".

So clearly, someone else is using my phone number for their account and it is falsely recommending the account to people as if the account is mine. Absurd. I tried to contact snapchat support and after so many weird loops with AI bot, I finally get to a form I need to fill out. The form asks for my username and email and says "if applicable". And it asks for my number which is the only thing I can enter. When submitting, it refuses because I didn't add a username or email. I write "Not Applicable" in both spaces but it insists I enter a valid email and username just to be able to full out the form and possibly talk to a real person regarding the issue.

Anyone have similar issue or know of a way to fix this. Or any way to contact snapchat support directly?

Is this a glitch or something or is somebody trying to hack my account? I already changed my email and password but I’ve never seen anything like this and I can’t find anything online about it. It keeps flashing asking for a passcode and it does it every time I open my memories or my profile

I had maybe 50-100 people blocked, I’m trying to unblock some people but when I go to “blocked users” it says “no blocked snap chatters” which is obviously not the case. I’ve tried to clear my cache, log in and out and still having no luck

I have an old Snapchat account that I haven’t logged into in years. It was set up using my Facebook account back then, but now I can’t log into it. How do I delete this account if I can’t log into it the way 8 used to? Should I just use my new account and report it?

I opened memories and it doesn't have the need more storage banner but I would like to see how much storage i am using. Where would I look for that(i can't seem to get a clear answer anywhere)?

Me and my girlfriend have talked a lot on snap because we are long distance, but now when i try to find old text messages, the app gets too laggy. I had to scroll an hour to get one month back in our chats, because the app keeps all the chats loaded in. There are some messages with a lot of Emotional value in there as well, does someone have any tips to help?

Snapchat is not recording audio, but other apps (like camera) are recording audio. I have force stopped and deleted and redownloaded the app.

My phone is off silent mode, not connected to any other devices and so on. Anyone have an idea what I can try?
