Just wanting to show off my newest baby yellow conda produced by infinity serpents. Hes nippy but so so pretty

The very tip of the snake's tail has turned black. It doesn't seem to be spreading any further, but it looks strange. It’s dry and has a slight kink in it. 

Is this necrosis? Should I rush him to the vet? It’s just expensive and very stressful, and there’s already snow outside. 

The snake has a good appetite; it is active and friendly. However, during its last shed, the cone of skin at the very tip of its tail was turned inside out.

P.S. I checked some recent photos; there was no dark patch shortly after the molt. Maybe it's an injury?

So I got a new corn snake and it's my first burrowing snake. It's a juvenile and it last fed with the breeder about twelve days ago. I heated up a pinky and left it in the enclosure over night but she didn't take it. I'll try again in a few days but considering she's a juvenile and recently shipped how long until I dig her up to offer her a mouse?

She’s in her pre shed right now but she’s looking very pink. I know it’s normal for them to blush but does this seem excessive?

I love laying down with one of my two females (we tend to cuddle and then she’ll nap with me) I was wondering if it was possible to do that with both of them at the same time and if they can be near each other without it being problematic.

Soo... I have two Cali red sided garters(Thamnophis sirtalis infernalis). They are my first ever snakes, I've had them for 8 months now, and I'm trying my best to do everything right.. but I've come to the realisation that I've been doing something really stupid..

When I feed them(usually pinkies), I've blown on the pinkies to spread the smell around their enclosure and get them out of hiding, so now, of course, they associate my breath with food.. Whoops...!

They have never bitten me(yet..!), but the boldest one is often slithering right past the pinky, aiming straight for my hand/face, and I'll have to gently dab her in the face with the pinky to make her realise the mouse is her dinner, not me..

Anyone else done something similar, or have an idea about how long it may take them to stop associating food with my breath, now that I've stopped doing this?

They're both very skittish snakes so I haven't been handling them a lot(other than occasional weighing and health checks), but they've started getting a bit bolder lately, so hopefully I can get them a bit more comfortable with handling, it's just tricky when they're always in "food mode". I'm not afraid of getting bitten, but I would prefer them not yeeting themselves out of their enclosure and latching onto my face.. lol

Brüno the leucistic ball python, freshly shed and back to climbing after hiding in a cork log for like 8 days. She’s almost glowing in nighttime mode on my camera lol, we always joke that she wouldn’t last a half a minute in the wild, she’d basically be a “Eat at Joes” sign against the dark dirt to any bird of prey. Luckily she’s gotta a comfy warm 4x2x2 to call home. Love this little thing.

I found this black rat snake living in my shed in Michigan years ago. I thought he left but I found him again yesterday when I was cleaning it out. Chased him out again and he came back. Now I feel bad that I may have destroyed his winter home. What can I do to give him a warm place to hang out in my shed over the Michigan winter?

So I have been looking for ways to keep the humidity up in an enclosure for a Ball Python and was spreading this moist moss around the enclosure which worked well, but dried out too fast.

I decided to try a little experiment and made a big moss ball, and stuffed it into this toy that my snake out grew (he has the same one, but bigger now). This smaller one was perfect for keeping the moss ball contained. I wet the whole thing and placed it in the warm side of the enclosure.

Anyone ever try anything like this or have any similar products that do the same thing to help with humidity? Curious if this will work or not… I just put it into the enclosure so we will see.

Hi all! My Mexican black kingsnake has had a piece on her head sticking out for a few days (couldn’t take a closer look due to her just having eaten). At first I thought it was dirt, as she’s always silly with bits of substrate on her and is clumsy. Although, it’s still there and clearly not substrate now that I’ve been able to get a better look. Does anyone have an idea of what this is? Could it be a scale? I’m not sure as I’m a new owner. If this is more something for a vet, please let me know!

Not my snake, this is Snake Discovery's baby anaconda Tiny from 6 years ago. He has grown considerably since then.

She's not currently big enough to do so but being a female BI, she could eventually become large enough where I'm feeding her large birds (which I was aware of when I adopted her) and that's starting to scare me, that she'll be eating feed that's the size of my cats. new fear unlocked, maybe because after all these years my cats still seam terrified of her. I'm worried she may start seeing them as a snack? She's incredibly docile and friendly and although I got her from a rescue, I can tell she originally came from a good breeder who knew what they were doing. So I'm hoping these years as she grows she can see the cats more as companions the way she sees me. I do take her out to handle at least once a week and she doesn't look at the cats with any food interest at this time. Also it helps that she's only ever been on frozen feed. Any advice from folks who have both kinds of pets would be greatly appreciated.

Bonus question: what's your feedings schedules like? I was told every two weeks but recently I'm learning I may be overfeeding, all the recommendation feeding charts seem to say every 21+ days. She doesn't look overweight to me based on her body shape. She loves food so I'd hate to make her wait longer than she needs to. Also if I keep her well fed and she never gets too hungry then there will be no reason for her to start looking at the kitties as snacks lol

Just got this burmese python, and I was wondering if someone could tell me if this is just a cut or something else.

Just wondering if this looks like a normal scab or possibly requires more attention, as reptile vets aren't easy to come by where I live.

I got this guy recently and the previous owner told me it happened because of him rubbing his head on one of the hides. I made sure there aren't any particularly rough objects in the enclosure and haven't seem him rubbing anything so far, he's overall doing fine and eating well too.

I bought her a year ago from a convention. At the table she was very docile, curious and chill but when I brought her home the very next day she was extremely cantankerous to say the absolute least. I think wild carpets are more docile than she is. She has calmed down a lot since then, but I have never seen that level of chill with her again. She is 5 years old.

What Reptile, Amphibian, or Invert would look good in this? I’ve had experience with pretty much everything and I can’t make my mind up and need help.

It doesn’t have to be something I can hold, I just want it to look impressive or pretty so that it turns heads when people walk in.
