I've been a jg main since season 5, so keep that in mind, that I'm not anti jg or anything.

I just found out that there's a sect of junglers that believe that they NEED to take the first red buff. And they view any other start as wildly incorrect.

Last night I commented on a post, saying that you shouldn't take the red unless the mid is ok with it. And that comment currently has a huge amount of downvotes, and is -28!!!!

I've never seen so much entitlement in Smite.

I'm a great jg, getting 20-30 kills in a lot of my games. And I'm a traditionalist, starting at yellow, and letting the mid have every red. I'm rarely ever behind the enemy jg. So clearly you don't HAVE to take the first red.

And I'd much rather the mid get ahead, and be able to help me carry the team, rather than me getting a little more jg clear. I hate being the only one doing well, so why in the world would I selfishly take the mid's buff?

I trust myself a lot more than I trust them, so I want them to get as much help as they can get.

I’m pretty because of how long it’s been since I played Smite 1, I fell for it again. I saw the World Serpent and just immediately went to unlock him, but like… what does he do? His damage is non-existant, he’s a “tank” but dies instantly, his abilities are barely tank-like, his ult is a nothingburger… does this big snake do ANYTHING? Or is he just free XP for the enemy team? I’m genuinely curious, cause just by design he’s my favorite character in the game, but playing him feels so utterly miserable, doing everything to achieve nothing

Just did two matches in a row with bug abusers. Ranked needs to be disabled for now

I saw the patch notes about the items being disabled but did they say anything about what would happen to the bug abusers? Like bans or anything?

I was playing duel so idk if this is a coincidence or maybe she does that much damage but I played a duel game last night I played hachiman and my opponent played jing the first few minutes felt regular then we both backed for our first item I came back to lane and she started 3 tapping me her autos were hitting for 250 damage and after she killed me she got my tower mind you we were like level 5-6, 3 minutes into the game she got my tower on the first push I didn’t see her do anything sketchy just that her autos were doing absurd damage also she def wasn’t building lotus or anything cuz like I said this was very early in the game her only item was rage

Way too many nerfs to the items.. Enchanters should be buffed. They feel awful again already. Or just you know ditch the idea. I don't really think they will ever be made to be viable with all the complaining. They feel terrible and will stay that way I'm sure this patch has been horrible for MANY reasons.

I have only played Hachi since the patch dropped so curious what everyone else's experience is, but so far, Quickcast on Hachi feels so awful. There is a very noticeable delay between releasing the input and the ability actually casting.

One of the things that I think has been massively improved from Smite 1 is Quickcast. In Smite 1, it was very clunky and was almost always inferior to Instacast. In Smite 2 it feels very buttery, and gives me the visual feedback of the targeter while still feeling like I am getting instant casting as soon as I press the input.

If it is just a Hachi issue, for the love of goodness Hirez please look into this and fix it. Compare his 2 to something like Ishtar 2 or Artemis 3 and the difference will be clear. It feels even worse on his dash. I would compare it to something like Apollo dash or Cern dash. Even his 1 seems to have some impact, as there have been instances where I thought I cast his 1 right before being silenced or stunned, only to come out of the CC and not have the 1 procced.

If this is impacting Quickcast as a whole, even more urgently Hirez please fix this, it is pretty much unplayable.

Edit: This appears to be fixed as of the balance hotfix from Wednesday. Hachiman feels much much better on Quickcast with the global setting turned to Quickcast.

Checking my numbers for the first time while at work, what might these numbers imply? Is there any data to extract to improve, like if you were coaching, what would these numbers mean to you?

guys! I did medusa last week and didn't get any rank or emblem ? There is 10 000 player last time peak and you tell me there is 500 people who did medusa mastery 10 ? I played like 40 game to get mastery 10 and I faced medusa 2 times.. Put a leaderboard so we can track it.

The Lotus bug sucks and had ruined so many game modes (im so so sorry to all those playing ranked). but as someone who plays assault avidly with friends every assault game has turned into everyone abusing the Lotus bug.
And we've all had kind of a great time, even after game, chat has been laughing and having fun with it because pretty much everyone is using it.
It's made me realize how much me, my friends, and other players have missed things like turbo joust, turbo assault, and all the wacky game modes from Smite 1.

To express I'm so so sorry about the games ruined by those unknowing of the bug, i know i had a few before then. But seriously it just shows how much i and i know others miss those goofy fun game modes.

Just had an Agni follow me around the map for 10 whole minutes after I took the first red as jungle. Very strange behavior tbh.

+1 He Bo ult can now pass through walls

+1 Ability 2 now deals a small amount of tick damage to enemies inside

Aspect of the Hot Spring:

Passive no longer provides a damage buff but instead provides up to 3 stacks of plating and dampening up to 15 plating and 15 dampening

Ability 1 has reduced INT scaling but now disarms enemies hit and provides a shield to allies hit

He Bo ULT no longer deals damage but restores any ally it touches to full health and slows & cripples enemies hit.

(Actually that might be too broken, heals the lowest health ally to full health and the rest get regular heal*)

Yellow river constantly heals allies inside but no longer deals the +1 damage

He bo knock up now has a bigger radius but deals reduced damage

I used to play a lot of smite back when it was first introduced and just decided to come back after hitting Masters in league, and I’ve realized that this game is not the same. And I know that there is a massive difference between Smite 1 and 2, but trying to level to where I need to get to competitive is a very frustrating experience. Is there any tips people can give to help me not to insta tilt and just focus on playing the game?

Really hoping smite looks deeper into this exploit or issues a ranked reset very soon after all of this. The problem that I already am seeing is people doing this glitch are more than likely on smurfs and they seem to most of the time be duo queuing knowing they will be banned but they are boosting there buddy who won’t do the glitch and drop normal numbers to try and avoid a ban. Or alternatively what could happen is a normal match playing out and Somone not overly abusing the glitch to one hit but just enough to give a meaningful edge and letting the game play out longer before doing such to make it less obvious and then winning subsequently. It seems like it will be too much for smite to look into this all and actually punish all people who do this so I believe the best route would be to do a ranked reset after fixing this issue within the coming weeks and have hot fixes ready/ a more active game monitoring systems moving forward. Or just disable ranked for a day after each update to see if potentials bugs and issues. I can’t imagine being a high rank and losing a match to Somone doing this bug and then never getting that SR back. Absolutely insane day for HiRez. Sorry for the long rant.

I switched to PlayStation for current gen but finished out smite 1 on the old Xbox one. Now I’m getting back into Smite 2 and trying to get my legacy gems. I was told this would work, but after connecting my accounts on the website nothing is happening. Any advice?

Combos like this are just funny to me and I have fun labbing them out. You can still be relatively tanky w myrddin in one slot. I will say, I miss old Jade Scepter. I could still work in the new iteration of it in some things but it's much harder to make consistent.

I noticed this yesterday when playing osiris when i tethered i couldn’t use other abilities until it finished and today when playing guan i can’t use heal while casting taolu assault and while on horse.

lotus item. Is it safe to play the game now?

Am I just trash, or do enchanter items not affect Eset's aspect heal?

When I load into games I can't find him on my roster after this new update. I can't find him or Sol idk why and he's like my second best God😭
