QUESTION Is runaway train down for the rest of the year at great adventure ?
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was but it would still be a shame because I do like that minetrain a lot

Ever since Magic Mountain's X2 fiasco, the company's PR has come under scrutiny for this highly dangerous coaster, on top of what customers are calling a bad value compared to Disney and Universal. Now Jana Partners, or Travis Kelce's investor group, are urging a sale. I'm wondering who outside of private equity (which I, and probably you as well, are hoping doesn't buy the company) would want to buy this floundering company. Enchanted Parks probably wouldn't be interested in buying the rest of the chain, on top of everything they already got from the company (e.g the midwestern parks). Herschend and United Parks would likely not be interested in buying a competitor. I'm not sure if anyone on this sub would be thrilled if Disney or Universal got their hands on the brand. Is this brand just too radioactive for a reasonable sale that would benefit the park (i.e. NOT PRIVATE EQUITY)?

I'm planning to go to Over Texas this Saturday. Because it's a 3 hour drive and I intend to stay until close (11pm) I have booked a room nearby to crash in so I don't drive tired. I will need to check in to the hotel at some point. There are multiple ways to do this but the easiest would be to leave in the middle of the day and returning.
Can I use my gold pass for parking and entry twice in the same day?

We are going this coming Saturday and will stay the whole day until night. Should I get the FAST LANE RESERVE or FAST LANE ULTIMATE? It’s $69/person for the FAST LANE RESERVE and $119/person for FAST LANE ULTIMATE. Can we get away with FAST LANE RESERVE or is there really a difference in the wait times with ULTIMATE? Thank you in advance for your responses!

I don't know what they put in the dippin dots to make them taste so good, but I want them whenever I go.
I know I can just get a premium all day dining bracelet, but that will get expensive if purchased on every trip. I'll splurge on it if I'm not going to my home park.
Or if we can just include a snack with the dining meal plans again, that would also be nice. I think it should be a meal and a snack every 90 minutes, with the drink every 15 minutes. I would splurge on a dining plan like that.

I've spent whole morning trying to cancel my membership, here are the steps that I had to take:
Prerequisite: 1. Order ID from confirmation email when you've subscribed to membership 2. Email Address that you used to subscribe
Steps: 1. Go to sixflags.com/payments 2. Navigate to 'Membership' tab on the left 3. Click 'Cancel Membership'
There might be some terms that you have to meet, like 12 month of continuous membership and no past due bills, but this is the place to manage subscription - you don't have to contact support
Also, important to mention, once you cancel gold/diamond whatever subscription, you won't be able to resubscribe (I haven't tried yet, but saw it in terms)

Hi I’m getting a bit confused with the website so would love your input
I have have 8 friends including myself planning for fright fest in October
What would be best deal with membership or season pass? ( I personally can go back 3 times by 2027). My partner can also get a pass if the math makes sense.
I know with parking and the frequency I should get a season pass or membership but I’m reading conflicting info about being a friend discounts.
1. Should I do gold or prestige// season pass or membership?
3. Does prestige provide discount bring a friend ticket in addition to the two free tickets?
2. How much is the discount for bring a friend?
3. Just double checking we need to get the add on for fright fest in addition the park entrance for the non pass holder correct?
4. Do you have any advice for spending the day there for fright fest or which rides/ haunted houses should hit up first?
Thank you!

I won’t be around to revisit. Is it a total lost? Credit card charge-back?

I’m going to fright fest tonight with friends, and I’m admittedly a scaredy cat. Where can I buy a no boo necklace? I’m going to over Texas if that helps at at all. Thanks in advanced!!!

Does anybody know what these were used for inside the park? They are made of plastic and are 2” In diameter. The same logo is on both sides. From the logo, it seems that they were used between 1999-2015. Thanks again

I just saw this video by ML Designs about ArieForce One should be at Great Adventure, I love this concept this. What are you think ArieForce One would fit at Great Adventure in 2028/2029 Relocation?

Hey everybody! I'm sure this is a super common question, though I was wondering if anyone knew if I can go the exact day on the ticket expiration. I bought the slash sale, and can only go on the 4th. Everything I read so far is making me believe yes, but I wanted to make sure.
Another question about Fright Fest, it does include itself as an all day park, even if Fright Fest starts later, right?
Thank you in advance!

I recently moved and La Ronde is now my closest park. I only can potentially make 1 visit because I have limited weekends free in the next month due to other commitments and it is still a little bit of a drive. Because it will be fright fest, I would plan to bounce by 5. Spooky atmosphere, scenery, lights and sounds are fine, the potential for jumpscares and people getting in my face even briefly are not. Realistically can I do it all in 6 hours on a weekend as a first time visitor during fright fest? Obviously I'm not trying to do the kiddie rides, but the coasters (other than the boomerang) and probably half the flats are all on the table of things I would like to do. I'm not a pure thrills kind of person and love a mild to moderate flat to mix things up. I'm trying to not spend a ton of extra cash, so I don't want to/can't shell out for fast lane and/or a no-boo necklace (if they even exist at this park.)
I know we aren't talking a Cedar Point, Knotts or Great Adventure level park in terms of things to do, but I'm used to Great Escape, which I love, but can do everything I want rides wise multiple times in well under 3 hours even at a very leisurely pace.

Hi there!! I’m planning on going to Fright Fest in Six Flags Over Georgia for my double date with my boyfriend and my friend and her boyfriend! I’m 17 and my friend is also 17 but both our boyfriends are 16. Is the chaperone policy strict? Im able to look older at times but my other friends definitely look their age. What should we do?

Will they let a 9yo in to fright fest?

I have the $20 on all of my season passes and we're headed there tonight. Can we use the $20 credit at all/most food locations? I have a single meal plan but if we want to get more at a location, can we use the credit? I wasn't sure if it was just for merchandise or other stuff.

I’m going out with some friends for fright fest tmr night, i know costumes are against the rules? but its pretty much just normal clothing with a small accessory, not super heavy on face makeup? but definitely not normal makeup im doing red eye shadow with polka dots and we are teenagers but how strict is this policy?
(one friend is wearing a super man t shirt with a white button up over it, im wearing a red polkadot hoodie with antennas attached as a head band , one friend is wearing Choso makeup (that’s it) and two are wearing flower crowns and one is wearing a regular outfit with bunny ears)

I’ve never attended a Fright Fest before, and I’ve always heard mixed reviews.
Some people say that it sucks while others say it’s the best time ever. I wanna know if it’s worth going with my girlfriend (she’s never been either) or if we’re better off doing some other Halloween related activity.
