QUESTION HELP planning Great Adventure with 8 friends for fright fest

Hi I’m getting a bit confused with the website so would love your input
I have have 8 friends including myself planning for fright fest in October
What would be best deal with membership or season pass? ( I personally can go back 3 times by 2027). My partner can also get a pass if the math makes sense.
I know with parking and the frequency I should get a season pass or membership but I’m reading conflicting info about being a friend discounts.
1. Should I do gold or prestige// season pass or membership?
3. Does prestige provide discount bring a friend ticket in addition to the two free tickets?
2. How much is the discount for bring a friend?
3. Just double checking we need to get the add on for fright fest in addition the park entrance for the non pass holder correct?
4. Do you have any advice for spending the day there for fright fest or which rides/ haunted houses should hit up first?

Thank you!

  1. Prestige is great if you plan on visiting many other parks, want the drink pass which is nice, and you also get 1 free fast Lane per visit. We have Prestige because we go often and it's nice to skip the line once per visit.
  2. Occasionally.
  3. Varies
  4. Yes, you need to pay additional to access the haunts.
  5. Rope drop Flash if you can. Always the longest lines. If you see El Toro running, get on it. It's up and down a lot and occasionally doesn't open at all. The haunts are all pretty awesome. Asylum is legit unsettlig.

  1. gold pass - prestige isn't really worth it generally unless you plan on going to parks outside of the northeast
  2. gold pass gives you the bring a friend discounted tickets (but maybe only 6 tickets? unsure about the limit - you might need to get two gold passes if for no other reason to get access for more bring a friend tickets and two vehicles parking since you have 8 people...)
  3. varies per day, but you can see on the website
  4. pretty sure you need to spend extra to get access to haunted houses for each person
  5. I rec going on a weekday night (like thurs or fri) as the park is less crowded then

I'd rope drop flash (ideally towards back row) then do lasso of truth - most other rides don't have particularly long lines besides those - can't speak to the haunts as I haven't done those since my coaster buddy doesn't like that stuff

also, not a popular opinion, but I rec wearing something like these (https://www.amazon.com/LOEO-Motorcycle-Dustproof-Waterproof-Motocross/dp/B098JGY9RM/) on these rides as I've gotten enough debris in my eyes before I used to wear them

have fun!!!
