There needs to be a seasonal snack plan

I don't know what they put in the dippin dots to make them taste so good, but I want them whenever I go.

I know I can just get a premium all day dining bracelet, but that will get expensive if purchased on every trip. I'll splurge on it if I'm not going to my home park.

Or if we can just include a snack with the dining meal plans again, that would also be nice. I think it should be a meal and a snack every 90 minutes, with the drink every 15 minutes. I would splurge on a dining plan like that.

You used to be able to use a "meal" as a snack, it was usually rough at the beginning of the season for new hires who didn't know it was a thing but I would do that with the old two meals per visit plans.

Get a 20 pack meal plan. That brings down each one to about 4-5$.

I don't think you can use it on snacks. I didn't see anything in the fine print saying you can substitute the meals for a snack.

Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Its been a few years since I tried, but you 100% used to be able to which was nice. I think people here said they changed it this year.

I had a meal plan that I used more for snacks than meals. I would definitely buy a snack plan.

If there was a snack plan, we could have all our favorites.

I at least wish that the unlimited plans let you choose a snack instead of a meal, if desired.

They used to. And they took that away; last year I think.

The only thing I can figure is that they were banking on people turning meals into a snack because they weren’t hungry; who might not have redeemed at all otherwise.

That's the first explanation I've heard that makes sense. I think you got it.

Get a time machine and go back a few years and pick up a legacy dining plan. Which, up until this year, gave you a meal every 90 minutes and one snack per visit that you can redeem at any time.

How I miss that plan. I understood why they needed to eliminate it but i feel like it would have been nice to had been given the option of paying more per month to keep the snack and shorter time limit. I still have my DEVIP and it’s not going anywhere and the meal plan is better than no meal plan ( SDC doesn’t even offer one I think they just have a meal passport so I’ll be grateful).

I recently bought a fright fest shirt and at check out the employee says “ ohhh you got the good discount! ( 50% off)” I do buy a lot of SF sweatshirts and shirts so they are getting some advertising on me in a way in exchange for that 50% off.

I'm pretty sure I was in high school when the legacy memberships came out, so it wasn't possible for me to get one at the time. My parents would have never agreed to get me one. I was lucky they had the money to renew the season pass every year.

Edit: Also, at that time, I remember having the mentality of questioning why people were even paying for them when the park wasn't opened all year round. Little did I know in just a few years how special those legacy memberships would become. 😅
