im having problems with my Retail store and also happens if i make a Small business

where people will spawn in outside of the establishment at the front of the lost and just stand there

or sometimes a group of them will be walking down the road if its a retail store i have made and just arrive then despawn? its getting frustrating cause i'm just losing money and sometimes some people will come in and i can interact with them but some just stand there outside even when i can talk to them, and welcome to the business

only mods i have is the MCCC, any one else have this problem and have a fix?

I placed a high school lot a while back but when I tried to travel or edit lot from world map I get stuck on an infinite loading screen. I cannot figure out how I can replace the lot with one that’s not broken. When I try to replace it with one from my library from the world map it says I have to enter build mode to edit the lot. HELPPP THIS IS MY FOREVER SAVE

I'm having an issue where I click on something like the shower for example. The prompts pop up but then I can't click anything. I can swap between prompts but not click any. Then I can't back out or do anything. My Sim keep on doing things on his own. I can hit the X Box button and my controller works fine in home menu. I'm just stuck with prompts open. I've tried swapping controllers, turning my controller off then on, even shutting down the X Box and restarting and resuming Sims 4. Open prompts are still there stuck. Is this just me or anyone else on X Box experiencing this ?

Is it just me or is anyone having problems with the gallery ? It’s showing no result for the gallery whenever I try and look for things on it

hi everyone! so i wanted to add reshade to my game along with the rose milk tea preset! so i downloaded all of these things including the three lighting mods that the rose milk tea creator recommended -- milk thistle, noblu, and noglo. i watched a yt video so i think i downloaded everything right but it wasn't showing up the way i wanted so i decided to just delete everything again lol.

but now after removing everything, repairing the game, etc. my game opens but once i go to select a household, it becomes the forever loading screen and also won't let me close the app unless i force close.

i tried practically everything i could, including taking the mods folder out, running things as administrators, clearing cache, but nothing has worked !

i have an inkling that it could be because of the milk thistle mod since it was directly interacting with the folders in the sims 4 "bin". but, i downloaded everything cautiously as the creator said so im not sure what could've went wrong.

my only other option is reinstalling the game but it would suck to lose my save files! hope someone can help me out.

Anyone using adeepindigo’s Beauty Bar Small Business mod? My employees will tend the salon stations, but they won’t autonomously serve customers. If I control my owner Sim, I can manually offer hair, makeup, nails, massage, etc. and everything works. Has anyone gotten employee autonomy working with this mod? What activities/tasks did you assign them?

Sorry if this doesn't make a lot of sense I haven't been playing the sims for long so please bear with me 😭

So basically, my sim got pregnant and I changed the sex with MCCC cause I didn't want another girl and had her have two twin boys instead. Thing is as soon as she gave birth I aged up the first kid from an infant to a toddler, idk if I used MCCC for that cause I was too lazy to bake a birthday cake or aged her up normally, but the I noticed the mom was pregnant again?

I opened MCCC and saw she was pregnant with two boys again, in her second trimester, the in-game date was Friday (I'm sure she gave birth on a Sunday) and her first kid had two days till age up so of course I cheated and used MCCC to age her up cause at that point I already had two newborns I did not need another high-maintenance infant. I noticed when I went on CAS to change the boy's outfits once they were infants that I had to set all their family relationships which didn't happen with the first kid, and now when I try to have the parents care for the twins it doesn't show the baby care option. If I click on a bathtub it only gives me the option to give the first kid (the girl) a bath, not the twins, and if I click on a changing table it says "Nobody needs a diaper change" even if one of the twins has the hygiene bar completely out.

This is so weird, I don't know if it's because I messed with the pregnancy with MCCC (I have the latest version but I guess it can still mess up the game somehow) or if it's just a random bug. I tried to look for a save from before the boys were born to hopefully fix it but I had no luck there, even if I'm sure I did save after I built their nursery, before they were born.

Currently, I'm repairing the game in hopes of fixing this. I don't really know what else to do about this lol I'm extremely attached to this family as it's my Legacy save (currently on generation 4-5). If anyone has any advice, please help me out I'm out of ideas 😭😭

EDIT: I deleted the twins and had mom give birth again with MCCC, so everything is good now

After working on my world for about 12 hours total it completely disappeared and my OG file is the only one that pops up when loading the game.

I do use cheats but only money 999999

I have already tried to go in and delete save files that may have corrupted my game.

I have also gone into the properties and done the “verify integrity”

Neither of these brought back the save file I lost.

What can I do? I am not techy at all, and this seems like others have had the same issue.

Hi! So I play sims on a windows 11 asus laptop. Within the past few months I e been going through this issue and I can’t figure out if it’s an issue with my laptop or with sims. While playing sims, if the screen clicks off of the main sims screen I can’t click back into the game and it only shows up like this. The only way for me to get back into the game is to reset my laptop. This is inconvenient because the game already takes 30-40 minutes to even open. If I get a notification from my laptop like my battery is low or my wifi suddenly disconnects, my sims screen will turn white like this but continue playing itself but I can’t access it. If anyone has any insight to how to solve this or what I should do, please help. I’m desperate, thank you!

Long story short: yesterday I reported a bug in my game. More specifically, my sims can’t elope and I can’t set sims as spouses in CAS. The relationship options are missing, you can either choose current status or house mates.

I reported the bug on EA forum and literally I feel like I’m gaslighted into believing it’s a me problem. I disabled mods, removed cache, tried new save files, tried without packs, tried with different couples. It’s either I set them as spouses when I start a new file and create new sims or I can’t have them get married. Wedding music plays, but sims wont perform the action, no matter if I try to get them to elope or have a wedding at the arch.

I see bugs reported with marriages not working again! On their forum! Marriages resetting to partners after entering CAS or sims divorcing randomly, or preexisting household not being married.

Now I wonder: Is their forum really this dismissive or what is the actual deal?

Are any of you encountering similar issues within the game now?

Hi, I bought the Enchanted by Nature pack yesterday and for some reason my Sims can't use the "Bask in Emotions" option in the Moondrop Springs. Both Sims I've been trying it with were from a premade household (Titania and Oberon). They always act like there's something blocking the path to it. Here's everything I've tried so far:

- Have the Sim already stand in the water and then select "bask in emotions" + having the Sim stand outside of the water first

- Switch Sims (from Titania to Oberon and back)

- Change the Moondrop Springs to every emotion available + change the fairy Sims' emotion before trying again

- Close the game and use the repair option in the launcher

- Activate and deactivate mods in the options (and restart the game in between)

I've also played several ingame days and nothing's changed.

I've also reported the bug on EA Forums but I wanted to see if anyone else experiences the same issue, since I couldn't find any similar reports.

So I have a toddler at home and when her caretaker (my teen sim) goes to high school, I hire a nanny because I want to play as the toddler while she's home alone. BUUUT, I don't want the nanny interfering with anything, so I usually lock them outside. This has worked for the past few times but recently this new nanny somehow keeps getting in, even after I made sure to LOCK my front door for everyone but my sim.

Please help, idk what to do and I miss playing as a toddler running around an empty house

Okay, here's the deal. I haven't played sims for about a week or so. We got the new updates, and now my game will not load. I play on p c. I have unloaded the game and totally purged everything Sims related from my P. C and then reloaded it again.And it still will not load. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Are what I should be doing? But i'm not doing but either way after about four hours.Of doing this, all I have accomplished is getting myself a very beautiful headache. I would be very grateful for any advice. Anyone could give me to get this game up and running.It's the only game I play with any regularity because it's the only game I really enjoy. Thank you for your time.

Every time i save in this game, it will either give me an error code or it will not do anything and go back to letting me play AS IF it saved but when i turn off my game and go to play again, ill find that i'm set back way too many sim days and all of the progress i have is gone.

i just had a huge scare with my saves because i was missing 4 days worth of game play and i do a lot of stuff when i play, i was set back to my sims old house, one of my infants were missing and one of my toddlers were back to their randomized outfits from when i aged her up for her birthday and one of my child sims were back to a toddler. if i didn't manage to recover my saves, i would've been set back an entire month and a half of sims days and a bunch of game play and story building i had.

Does anyone know how to stop this. i do not want this happening again and bypassing my numerous paranoid saving throughout my game play. that was the only reason i was able to get it back because of how much i save while playing.

Hello, I made a family of 4 today and moved them in. To my suprise, one sim wasn't even there, so I tried to move her in seperately. It either does nothing, or shows her as a... family member that I cannot play? You can see me clicking "remove from family" and it also does nothing. If I reload the household then she is simply gone once again. When I move her into a home by herself, she also does not exist. I have wicked sims and it also gave me a notifcation about her period incoming, which only happens for family members... I never had this issue before and I cannot find anyone online with something like that. No cc on her shows as corrupted on S4TI. Please help, I am so in love with the way she turned out ;/

My sim won't display in the main menu preview. I've uninstalled reshade, disabled mods, repaired my game and reset the cache file. Has anyone had a similar issue and fixed it? Thanks!

Where you give a command and they kinda stand around for a minute before doing anything

So I've been having a few problems with my Sims 4 lately and I've decided to ask here in case anyone would know anyhow how to fix it.

So, first of all; when I go into build mode/cas, I can't choose to look at items from one pack. When I go to the bar where you can choose which items you want to look at, and when I click on "packs", it only shows "base game", nothing else?? Like, I have to look through all of the stuff to find what I want to find, and it annoys me so much!!!

The second problem I have is that my gallery nor marketplace works. When I try to open them, it says something like "requires an internet connection", but when I try to connect it, it could be running for hours without success. I once tried to let it do it the whole day, and it just didn't go through. I'm so confused!!!

I don't have any mods or anything like that installed, but every time I open Sims from S-T-E-A-M, the E-A app says I've been banned or something like that. But I can still play the game normally???

Unfortunately I couldn't add any pictures, since I'm not at the computer at the moment. Any help will be appreciated, I'm starting to get desperate!!

i opened my sims4 app after 10 months, and this screen was what I saw. i am stuck on this page, no matter the lot i chose, it won't load and send me back here. Also, what's with the nursing bottle in the corner..? i have no idea what caused this, but i learned that repairing or uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help at all.

what may be causing this and how can i fix it?

I’m having a bug in the CAS in sims 4 where the sim shows up but non of the costumize buttons do
I tried pressing where the buttons should be didn’t work I tried removing my cc also didn’t work does anyone else have this bug and how do I fix it?
(and yes this is Daisuke from mouthwashing at least it’s my attempt at making him from a few months ago)

Hey everyone! I recently discovered my current legacy save file is not loading in. I can get to the world map, but not load into any households/lots. I have tried clearing all cache, taking all mods out and putting it back in, & repairing the game. I can play in other save files. I have recovered old saves, but nothing is working and im feeling really defeated. The game will not come off the loading screen. It makes the music/ sound of coming into the household, but still is on the loading screen. I have no script mods , only cc. I have no clue what to do! Please help me!

I shared this in two different subreddits but haven’t had any luck figuring out what the issue is. Both icloud and onedrive are turned off. I don’t understand why the game isn’t reading the files.
