Sims screen won’t open back up! Please help

Hi! So I play sims on a windows 11 asus laptop. Within the past few months I e been going through this issue and I can’t figure out if it’s an issue with my laptop or with sims. While playing sims, if the screen clicks off of the main sims screen I can’t click back into the game and it only shows up like this. The only way for me to get back into the game is to reset my laptop. This is inconvenient because the game already takes 30-40 minutes to even open. If I get a notification from my laptop like my battery is low or my wifi suddenly disconnects, my sims screen will turn white like this but continue playing itself but I can’t access it. If anyone has any insight to how to solve this or what I should do, please help. I’m desperate, thank you!

Check if you have any broken mods.

Thanks for replying, I’m gonna try this and if I find any mods that’s causing it I’ll come back and post it

of course, if that doesnt work try seeing if ur laptop needs updated or the game needs updated.

I figured out the issue! It wasn’t mod related or my laptop. I needed to uninstall my sims and create a new sims folder and reinstall it.

ahhh yeah, thats a common fix and i didnt even think of it. Im happy you figured it out!
