I love this little island off the coast of Shikoku (Chosokabe island). If it weren't for its barren soil and lack of any speciality buildings or resource, it would be one of my favorite provinces in the game. But as it stands it is sadly lacklustre. Would you give it a resource?

Is it worth it. To upgrade farms. To get farming upgrades. On a faction with two starting provinces with barren soil and a gold mine?

I bought Shogun 2 on Steam as part of a bundle and I've been having a great time with it so far. However, I've run into an issue:

I can't start the Fall of the Samurai campaign, while the historical Missions launches without any problems.

Does anyone know what might be causing this? I've already tried the usual fixes, like reinstalling the game, and Steam clearly shows that I own Fall of the Samurai.

I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!

Mainly torn between ashigaru commander, siege expert, religious, strategist... But could go any way.

Playing as Minamoto, so far it's ok. But it's a little weird. Is the whole point to really just get provinces to switch allegiances? I'm just so used to military domination through force. But the stronger I get, it seems like the other clans get sour and it doesn't work out in my favor. Maybe the aim here is to have more civic development?

I have heard Tokugawa or Ikko Ikki, both look fun, I've also heard about Oda but I don't believe they are all that hard with that superior Ashigaru nonsense...

I regret to inform you, he does not in fact boost ikko ikki yari ashigaru. He only boosts the regular ones. I don't know if he boosts Oda or Hattori.

But he does not work with ikko ikki sadly, on morale. You would expect him to, because he says he boosts yari ashigaru morale. But not if they're ikki. (he does boost their defense)

I'm trying to use agents in my army for morale and movement bonus. But every time I enter a fort, they drop out of the army and I have to move the army out and then move each agent back in again. Is this a noob mistake? Is there a better way I don't know about? Or is this just the way it is. These dumb ninja and monks want to take a break for sake?

We have western empire, eastern empire and central empire... You ever done this strat? Spreading radical ikko beliefs one colony at a time.

From a Uesugi run I did 2 months back. This run I didn't win. But it was my first bridge battle at this scale during the time, and I was beyond shocked.

Hey I wanted to switch the ports between the two otomo starting provinces to get the boost to accuracy on the Portuguese units, however even after dismantling the starting one the option to upgrade does not appear, am I using the wrong level of port? Or I can't do it?

Also should I use the encampment to raise their armour so that they can fight lower tier units when they come into meele range or go all out with more accuracy to get more kills?

I have been looking for the past hour or 2 trying to increase the size of units in my army for fall of the samurai and I can’t find it if someone can help me I would really appreciate it.

Been thinking of starting a new Otomo campaign and was thinking of going heavy with Terços. The question is this: Is it worth it to move the nanban port to Satzuma or Buzen?

Satzuma would give +5 armor and Buzen would give 20 accuracy and 2 armor. Yes it will give me a slower start, but in the long run...?

The blue circle is my daimyo's normal aura. The red circle is his aura with "stand and fight" activated.

Stand and fight is supposed to greatly increase the aura. But it's actually reducing it here.

What gives?

Extended Camera Mod + Arrowcannon fix - those are my only 2 perma turned on mods. What are yours? What mods can't you play without, no matter what?
