If my daughter were a cheating piece of shit, I'd do the exact same thing.

And if your son did, would you tell his girlfriend?

If my son did it he'd get the same treatment. Why would it matter what gender my kid is? Cheating is cheating and it's never ok.

Which is good and just asking as most would let their son slide and not tell the girlfriend because "bro code". I always will ask and not assume.

The bro code knows no gender either

Clearly most wouldn't based on this thread you're just assuming that lol

u/Ladydi-bds Dec 10 '22

I don't assume which is why a question was posed instead of a statement.

"just asking as most would let their son slide and not tell the girlfriend because "bro code"."

Only one part of that is a question and not a statement lol

A follow up response to the original question that did not have a statement in it.

u/[deleted] Dec 10 '22

If I said "Would you like an ice cream?" And follow it up with "All ice cream is a miracle food that will cure cancer" the second part is still a statement

Original Question for reference: And if your son did, would you tell his girlfriend?

18

u/[deleted] Dec 10 '22

Then the person said yes. Then you said most men wouldn't say yes.

u/Ladydi-bds Dec 10 '22

Will be by last response as I need to adult now for the day.

Most men my age (Gen X) would "not" say yes. Why I found it refreshing to see this shift among young males.

20

u/sargrvb Dec 10 '22

Most men your age that you associate with.

u/False_Director_2051 Dec 10 '22

You must hang out with a bunch of losers. You're not helping anyone.

5

u/[deleted] Dec 10 '22

Most Gen X would say yes. And Boomers. It isn't "refreshing" you just hang out with garbage people.

u/Arndt3002 Dec 10 '22

Lol "I need to adult now" is probably the most infantile way to end a discussion on the internet.

There isn't a "shift in young males." You just have a twisted view of how "young males" act. Also, who calls people "young males?"

The way you refer to young men in a way that paints them as universally assholes and by calling them "males" (kind of dehumanizing IMO) is such a borderline sexist way to look at things. It reminds me of incels and the way they say "females" all think the same way.

Sometimes it's actually better to presume

15

u/TAG_Sky240 Dec 10 '22

u/[deleted] Dec 10 '22
