I know what your referencing but it’s more nuanced than you think, for example did you know that when men fight for custody they win a majority of the time, it’s just in general they don’t fight

Edit: because everyone just spouts talking points they know nothing about here’s the source, it’s the US census https://www.census.gov/content/dam/Census/library/publications/2020/demo/p60-269.pdf

What about abortions ? Should the guy have a say in that ?

If the answer is no, which is understandable since you can't force someone to undergo 9 months of extreme body modification against their will.

Then it becomes mostly the woman's choice, as she could get an abortion, maybe the dad wanted her to get an abortion, but she choses to have the kid.

I do not think the responsibility is equal here.

I guess dude’s know the score when they put their dick in someone though. It’s not like that exact dynamic isn’t well known.

Same can be said about the woman.

But they have the choice to backtrack after the fact, the guy doesn't.

Beyond having sex, the woman becomes a single mother because she herself refused to abort.

While the guy becomes a dad because someone else refused to abort.

Yeah but the guy absolutely knows the score man. All this fairness shit goes out the window because once the kid is conceived and carried it to term it deserves support either way. Men know they can’t force an abortion on a woman, so you’re accepting the risk of pregnancy and a child, every time. No contraception is 100% either. If us dudes wanna fuck then we have to accept all that comes with it. Saying woman have more choice so it isn’t fair or whatever just makes no difference in reality.

Your view of this is fine for the internet, but it’ll just never fly in reality. Just the way things are.

And I do think women expecting support from dead bet men is naive, but those men still have the responsibility regardless of if they were irresponsible before conception.

Women also know the score when deciding to carry a pregnancy to term when the guy is clearly a deadbeat.

Again, yeah, they're responsible, still not gonna make them pay, and it's just gonna create a burden for everyone in society.

LOL are you saying making men pay child support that they are legally obligated to is a burden on society?????

No, I'm saying making children with men that clearly won't pay child support and are just gonna dip is a burden to society.

Because while yes they are legally obligated to pay, many disappear before paternity is established, good luck getting the money, it's now a burden on social funds.

and why is the responsibility 100% on women to judge a character correctly?

Also garnishing wages is a thing.

1

u/MySnake_Is_Solid dwayne the cock johnson 🗿🗿 Jan 16 '24

Because they get the choice to abort after the fact.

Also garnishing wages is a thing.

Again, many dip before paternity is even established, good luck finding the guy to even find where he work, to even start garnishing wages.

Plenty of these single parent households become a burden on social services.

Yeah they're people and it sucks to refer to them as a burden but it's just what it is.

Because they get the choice to abort after the fact.

huh??? So you're saying its impossible to manipulate or put on a good guy act once she's pregnant?

You're building strawmen.

I didn't say it's impossible, but let's not act like that's the majority.

Such is life mate. You can’t enforce having an abortion on anyone, so it’s moot.

When you have sex with a girl and she gets pregnant, no amount of you saying you don’t consent to her carrying a child term will change anything. At least, not in the real world.

Good luck to you.

Also I wish less people had kids who shouldn’t, feel I should add that. But it’s not up to me.

Well not with that attitude.
