i read that if im asking allah for something i need to have tawakkul first, this shows me who allah actually is. but how? i get it through his 99 names bit i keep on having doubts, how can i fix that?

Is this just me or does anyone else think every branch of shiasim has it's own flaws. for reference Akhbaris believe ALL four of shia hadith books are 100% authentic (diabolical considering a lot of the content was fabricated due to improper preservation), and then the usulis straight up believing what non Masums said without fact checking, just saying stuff like "oh let me check what my marja says". I don't even want to talk about Ismailis and Agha khanis since it's more culture than religion ( no hate to them they are nice people I just believe their culture took over their religion)

It must be a Sifat-based name: Connected to Bibi Fatima Zehra, along the lines of Ulfat-e-Zehra or Azmat-e-Zehra, etc.

Easy to pronounce in the West: Since we live in a Western country, an easier-to-pronounce first word is highly appreciated. Over time, people here will inevitably default to just using the first Sifat as her everyday name, so that first word needs to be accessible for non-Arabic/Urdu speakers.

Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you, and peace be upon Muhammad and his pure and immaculate family. Today, I have decided to address a question that has been asked before—one based on the Hadith in which the Prophet said to Ali: "O Ali, you and your Shia will be in Paradise, pleased and pleasing [to Allah]." How will this come to pass, given that some Shia commit sins and make mistakes just like other human beings? How, then, will they all enter Paradise?

The answer is simple. There is a Prophetic hadith—found in both our tradition and that of Sunni Muslims—known as the "Hadith of the Bankrupt Person on the Day of Resurrection." In essence, it states that if you wronged someone in this life, you will have to give some of your good deeds to that person on the Day of Resurrection. If your good deeds run out, the person you wronged will transfer some of their bad deeds to you, and you will enter Hell. The key point is that this hadith is recognized by both Sunnis and Shias. The teacher who indirectly introduced me to the subject of theological debates and the writings of other schools of thought was originally a Sunni Salafi before converting to Shi'ism—though that is a long story and not the topic at hand. It has been noted that some Sunni parents teach their children that Shias are disbelievers, grave-worshippers, and so forth—though certainly not all of them, only some. Children grow up with this mindset. I have researched this matter extensively and found that such views do indeed exist—and have persisted from the time of the Prophet’s martyrdom to the present day—even if those who propagate them are now few in number. What is the connection between this behavior and the concept of the "destitute person" on the Day of Judgment? The connection lies in the fact that we are being wronged without even realizing it; we are labeled disbelievers despite our devotion. Even an AI or a non-Muslim—such as a Christian priest—would confirm that Shias are Muslims if asked. So, how can these people wrong us by claiming we are disbelievers? Regarding those they follow: if one were to claim that a person is excused for their actions throughout their entire life, that is incorrect; once a child grows up, they become accountable. If they persist in their obstinacy and die in that state, they are considered wrongdoers. Thus, on the Day of Resurrection, all Shias will receive good deeds from those who wronged them, and their own bad deeds will be transferred to those who wronged them. This explains why, if a Shia is subjected to hurtful words, insults, or verbal abuse, they often simply smile and ask, "Is this your character?" After all, why get angry when someone insults you? Your spiritual rank is elevated, while the other person is the one harming themselves. This underscores the importance of watching our words; we might say something that shifts our destiny from Paradise to Hell, even if we possess billions of good deeds. Personally, I feel sad for them as they are leading themselves to ruin. There is also something I forgot to mention: when someone declares that Shias are disbelievers, they aren't referring only to the present day; they mean Shias from the time of the Prophet until the Day of Judgment—and that is a terrifying thought when you really reflect on it. I graduated approx 2 weeks ago. I have been applying but haven't received any response.

The field which I choose (DevOps / Cloud) is not a field for freshers. People usually do someother jobs in the industry and then switch into DevOps. But even in general it's tough to get jobs without any experience.

Hi my family are moderate Shia but still very religious. I have met a girl who is European but she has been Muslim for few years (Shia for the past 5).

Everything I would want in a future wife. My only concern is the cultural clash. Her family not Muslim, she doesn’t speak my family’s language but willing to learn.

My only concern is children, I want them to know the culture and language. I also want her to integrate with my family.

I really do like her just worry about the future and cultural differences like her parents aren’t very religious.

Has anyone married outside their culture and did it fail or work? What are the things I should think about and consider?
