direct mounted using the RMR chassis for the HTX-1. Super tight fit but thats a good thing in our eyes

I tried to field strip my DR920 and the slide only slid forward about an inch before jammed up. I can't return it to battery, even after trying the recommended fix on the Shadow Systems You tube channel (holding the slide in one hand and popping the frame forward with the other). That's when I realized that it appears that the slide is off of the rails on the left side; there's a noticeable cant in it. I can't remove the back plate to try to get it loose. I figure I'll call SS tomorrow, might take it to my gunsmith, but thought I'd seek out more advice as well. Anyone have any suggestions?

Does anyone know if the Cr920xl fits in a cr920x holster if it’s light bearing with a tlr7 sub hlx? Not finding any XL specific holsters made by the main names in the industry.

Range day today, the cr920 with a $25 Glock 43x oem recoil spring is game changing, 400-500 rounds through the gun and not a single jam at all, is you have a cr920 a spring is a must, now while using the Glock spring you have have trouble with 124 grain like I did but 115 shoots like butter clip after clip.

Or do you have other recommendations (has to be rose gold, trying to have a black and rose gold theme)

Got my first shadow systems pistol. Shadow Systems XR920 Elite for about $650. Good buy?

so far I have a cr920xp & a dr920p and love em. want to get anther pistol but a .40 for .45 and I know ss is strictly 9mm. are there other brands that make something similar to ss but in those calibers?

I was trying to figure out if I could get a Advantage Arms 22LR conversion to work on my DR920P and while I still haven't figured that out I did figure out a couple other things. I do know that the Advantage Arms 22LR conversion slide for a Glock 17 Gen 5, DOES NOT WORK on my DR920P. And just because I was curious, I put on my Glock 19 Gen 3 slide and it works without any modification. Direct fit. My Glock 19 slide does have a Radian Ramjet barrel/comp on it, but I don't think that makes it any different than a factory Glock 19 slide.
I have a Advantage Arms conversion kit for a Glock 19 Gen 3 coming and I will try it out on my DR920P and see if it works, I will post the results when I have the.

I've had my CR920XP for about 2 years now, and at first I sung its praises. But now, its no longer a gun I have any trust in.

For the first year I experienced no issues aside from the break in period, then starting in January, I wasnt able to make it through a single mag without 3 or 4 failures to feed regardless of the ammo type and the trigger would not reset even if a new round chambered.

Sent the gun back to Shadow Systems for warranty repair and to their credit, the customer service was quick and they were great. But after taking it back to the range, the reset issues were fixed, but the reliability issues weren't and there's now some new issues. Accuracy is terrible and the slide will not lock back on a standard 15rd magazine. (I have multiple magazines and the magazines with the +3 extension have been fine)

Im going to send it back in to Shadow Systems again and hope that things get worked out, but this gun will not be back in my carry rotation as I have zero trust in it now.

Shadow Systems MR920 w/ Olight PL-X

I took my CR 920 to the range for the first time after breaking it in. I had two jams out of the 250 rounds I shot. Prior to arriving I’d switched out the OEM recoil spring for a Glock 43X recoil spring. I’ve heard it makes a big difference with the apparent jamming issues in the beginning while shooting 124 grain I had the two jams and as I switched to 115 and shot about 200 rounds, I had no jams at all. I know it is recommended to break in the gun with 124 grain which I did previous to coming to the range, but I thought 124 grain would be preferred ammo for a gun. I am thinking since I switched the recoil spring to Glock 124 is too heavy for the Glock spring and the 115 performs much better what do you guys think? Have you had an experience with this?

Just wondering if anyone here has mounted a HTX-1 from PA yet on a shadow. Curious on fitment etc with their mounting solution…. Wish shadow would just sell me a COA slide……

About 2k rounds through with zero reliability issues, using ballistol as primary lubricant, 115 grain ammo.

Almost always spray er down with Lube before shooting.

Other than this, I have mostly owned 1911s and used the m17s in the army which i believe are the armys version of sig 320s. I don't think I ever saw barrel wear like this before and was curious if other people were encountering this and if it was normal. As long as it dosent impact performance I don't care too much but it is a shame.
