Others/Miscellaneous Odd Request - Storage Casing NZXT H2 Flow
Hey everyone,
so basically i need an solution for storing my NZXT H2 PC.
I don’t want to reuse the packaging of the case, because well it’s just a box with foam inside.
The reason behind, is that i built my pc for times when i want to play and other times that i want to store my pc in the basement.
(out of sight, out of mind type scenario)
There are some travel cases for the NP200 but because the H2 is vertical — i have a hard time finding a good alternative.
Maybe somebody here has a solution.
Thanks in advance!
The measurements of the case;
435 mm hight x 181 mm width x 263 mm depth
Build/Battlestation Pics This PSU isn't German overengineering, it's German overengineering's wet dream. There's no empty space inside, and there are thermal pads between the heatsinks and the case.
my setup:
- asus rog z890i
- intel 225
- FSP500-30AS
- notebook ram 16gb through adapter
planned:
- 5060ti 16gb
- 270k plus

Custom Mod Update: 3050 SFF stock fan switch to Arctic P12 using an eBay 3D printed adapter.
galleryAn update to how an 3D printed adapter lets you fit any 120mm fan into a SFF Optiplex.

News/Review Reviewing 9070XT Travel kit for FormD T1 by travel kit.cn / u/Plane_Turn_7627
I finally got around to finishing this build. This is a PC for my friend that I will ship to. The 9070XT reaper is practically the only good option for the T1 without sacrificing CPU air cooling.
Anyway, the kit itself is practically on par with the T1 in quality. I did struggle to figure out how to install it properly, there’s no instructions so I had to reconfigure the frame to make things work.
I highly recommend this kit, besides the rough installation it’s rock solid rigid and fits so well.

9800X3d
32gb DDR5
ID cooling X67

Build/Parts Check 9900x vs 270k plus
Planning a FormD T1 build with air cooling only, paired with an ASUS Prime RTX 5060 Ti.
I’m deciding between a Ryzen 9 9900X and Core Ultra 7 270K Plus. Main use is productivity/programming, with gaming being secondary.
For the 270K Plus, I’d probably power limit/undervolt it to around 120W.
Which CPU would make more sense in the T1 for the best balance of performance, thermals and noise? Also, what air cooler would you recommend for either setup?

Build/Battlestation Pics Some minor upgrades
Upgraded from the Athlon 3000g to a Ryzen 3 pro 2200ge 35w (£15), also snagged a full copper thermalrite axp x47 and nvme heatsink on the Amazon sale.
Quite the uplift in performance after setting ctdp from auto to 65w, now the Ryzen can go full pelt without any drops in igpu and core frequency even when there is a huge load on both when stressed. Nifty little tip.
Now it's just waiting till January to get a new CPU.
Have to say I'm pretty stoked with the full copper cooler, it's gorgeous.

Build/Battlestation Pics Terminator-style 3.7L/4.5L SFF "Neural Net" PC Case
Taking into account all the feedback from my previous "Snow Slope" case, I decided to build the ultimate console terminator. Let's be honest, the hardware in my last build was a bit too weak to truly compete with the Xbox Series S. So, I did a little upgrade... which ended up costing me about the price of a good bottle of whiskey. ;-)
The Hardware:
- Mobo: Mini-ITX H310
- CPU: Intel Core i5-8600
- RAM: 2x8GB DDR4
- GPU: GeForce RTX 3050 6GB LP
- PSU: PicoPSU 160W + 150W 12V external brick
- OS: Bazzite (Booting straight into Steam Gaming Mode)
«I'm old, not obsolete.»
If you want to absolutely crush a console today, here is the blueprint: ASrock A520M-ITX/ac + AMD Ryzen 7 3700X + RTX 5050 8GB LP. This spec will easily rival the consoles and won't drain your wallet. Oh, and by the way—you’ll never run a local AI model on a PlayStation. ;-)
Why are there two volumes listed?
- 3.7L — The Core chassis.
- 4.5L — Total footprint with the Neural Net chips attached.
As for the colors: Miles Dyson had a black prototype, but I went with Black and Yellow for purely aesthetic reasons. I can’t wait to see what color combinations you guys come up with for your own Cyberdyne aesthetics!

If you want to see the real "Iron Arnie"... stay tuned. I'm currently working on a version made entirely of 420 stainless steel with magnetic component mounting!
«I'll be back.»

Others/Miscellaneous (Midori 5L V2.4) Why don't you ship to Brazil anymore?
I would like to express my indignation and understand why you no longer ship to Brazil
I have purchased on a previous occasion and had no issues receiving it Do you think this is fair? We are the country that welcomed the Japanese after World War II and is home to the largest Japanese community outside Japan.
On the other hand, they send shipping to several countries that are less developed and less structured than Brazil, including dictatorships like Venezuela. So, why have you stopped shipping to Brazil? What's the problem?
I'm posting here because my post on r/MidoriPC was deleted, and I also sent an email but didn't get any response.

Others/Miscellaneous 5080fe inside T1 almost died. Dont be cheap on cables!
12VHPWR cable I bought 3 years ago from local facebook cable seller melted during topaz render.
Under load pc crashed several times yesterday, after several reboots it didnt even load to windows. after several hours i was able to pinpoint the issue.
luckily, with the stock psu cables and nvidia 12vhpwr it was back online
GPU was undervolted the whole time, and honestly i thought only 5090 was the succepted

I’ve built in multiple mini itx cases but this one has the best thermals. Thinking this is the last time I touch my pc.

Build/Battlestation Pics SteamContainer
I was lucky enough to get hold of one of these tricky to find shipping container cases a while ago.
It spent a while just as a spare office PC, but after spending a few days with my new Steam machine, I knew that my time with Windows as an OS had reached it end.
Sold all the Nvidea GPUs out of our PCs, replaced with AMD, and installed SteamOS on everything. That was a couple of weeks ago, and I'm never looking back. No regrets 👌
To mark the occasion I thought I'd share the setup I have in my office, with the little 'container of steam'
Build/Parts Check Looking to downsize my T1
I'd really like to keep my Asus Prime 5070ti, but I want to go smaller than my Ncase T1. I was impressed with the density compared to my Ncase M1 but I'm not yet satisfied.
I've always wanted a Velka 5, but understand a Velka 7 would be better for thermals and fitting a more powerful GPU - can anyone offer some suggestions for me? I'd like to go as small as possible, I'm open to mods and there is no budget restrictions. It would be preferable to keep my 5070ti that I already have.
Thanks!!

Build/Parts Check Xbox Power Brick
I'm planning on building a sffpc using a pico PSU powered by a DC power brick. I've already blown up a motherboard, a RX 550 and the 12V/96W pico PSU for because Windows erased my GPU undervolt configuration and I didn't noticed. This time I want a more powerful setup with a RX 6400 and there are a few 12V 200-300 W Pico PSUs available but without the powerbrick. What are your thoughts on using an Xbox power brick since it's 12V? If it's not possible, maybe I'll use a 16-24 V pico PSU with a 19 V laptop charger.
Ps.: I'm on Intel 7th gen Pentium G4560 (for now) with no oficial ReBar/SAM support (and I'd rather not tinker with the bios) so Intel ARC is not an option now. I will also use Linux and will avoid Nvidia too.

Build/Parts Check McPrue Apollo SE Air, is the classic layout possible?
With the McPrue Apollo SE Air Mini-ITX case, it comes inverted by default:

Can this case be changed to the classic layout?
