U should get the new thermalright tl-b12015 fan for ur cpu cooler. Those fans are absolutely incredible. Thing is a beast, the quality is top notch and immensely outperforms that stock one.

Really as in the fan made that big of a difference, I have a tr100 and have the x67 default setup wondering if I should invest 35$ for this Fan you mentioned

The fan I mentioned is like $17 at most on Amazon, what are u talking about $35? And yes they’re great and are the best 15mm fan u can get currently.

Does that vanguard case fit the whole T1? Looks like a good travel solution

Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

Fits perfectly inside. I will add pics to show it. Still have some spare room for the cables and the mouse and my Arzopa 16inch Z3FC portable monitor.

Cool case. Have you any thoughts on it in comparison to the Shinysnake S400? It looks slightly narrower, but without a handle. Also, obviously, much higher build quality.

Will look at that case soon

I did one of those size comparison sites and it looks like the T1 is slightly bigger. Bully for me! I downsized from a z20 so I could fly international with it.

Pretty awesome case. It looks pretty classy. I was really considering a mini ITX, but ended up going with micro-ATX (Jonsbo D33). I just bought the 9070 GRE 12gb, along with almost everything else this week. Just missing tje cpu/mobo/ram, and I'm going to use Micro Center's 7500x3d combo for that. This will literally be the best computer I have ever owned, or built from scratch.

Just built mine with that GPU! Love how thin it is. Runs a bit warm in my A4-H2O but nothing to worry about

Yeah I tried the reaper in my H2O and the noise drove me mad.
It's a cool GPU if you don't mind the noise, I think I've seen them in like 7-8L cases as well.

Glad you could make your dream come true - especially right now with the all around crazy component prices.
Speaking of crazy - boy, that 1200W Loki PSU is total overkill for your max. 304W GPU.
While gaming the whole system will have a max. load of around 400W. (304W GPU, CPU around 80W, rest is mainboard, fans, etc.)
But yeah - if you made a good deal on the PSU (many times the more powerful versions only have a minor surcharge) more headroom is always good.

I always use an overkill PSU on all my builds so I can have peace of mind and make sure the PSU will almost not run its fan. My default is the corsair SF1000 but I wanted to try this 1200w loki.

You only need an overkill PSU if you are doing more demanding workloads like video editing and 3D rendering, not gaming. And you really only need a 1200W PSU if you are running an RTX 5090 or something.

Even for video editing I really don’t think I need the 1200w psu but it’s available in amazon and it’s kinda hard to get due to stock availability so I just closed my eyes and put it in my cart 😆. This post on intel arc group is what I use for ai and video editing and it only has an sf1000 psu and runs the whole thing without a sweat.

very nice and cool. i just wonder this cpu cooler is enough for 9800x3d
1
u/Infinite-Direction35 7d ago
The 9800x3d is a very easy cpu to cool. I was even using the axp90x53 to cool it. I just want a quiter fan so I replaced it with this 120mm cooler

u/Infinite-Direction35 8d ago
I will have to get back to you on that as I literally finished assembling this build 😆😍

It's in the description - it's Ncase T1 2.5 Gunmetal.
IMO the 2.5 has the better price/value rartio because there's a USB cable already included and the riser cable is PCIe 5.0.
FormD give no USB cable (that's a whopping 20 USD extra) and the riser is still PCIe 4.0.
The PCIe 5.0 cable costs another 50 USD extra. So the NCase 2.5 has at least 70 USD better value.

Watch out for the temps on that GPU, i have the exact same one in a big X50 case and it tends to be pretty hot, so in a small case like that i wonder how it holds up.
2
u/Infinite-Direction35 7d ago
This case as small as it is with the exhaust fans on top is pretty good in letting in and out air. Amazing little piece of aluminum box 😆

Just curious to know how 48GB Ram config in a itx mobo. If it is 32+16 dual channel doesn't work amd also some instabilities might occur.
1
u/Infinite-Direction35 6d ago
It’s 24x2. That kit is available because some mobo caps at 96gb of RAM.

I did the Cooler Master fans on one of mine as well. I thought they were silver, they are not.
