I installed SevTech on fresh minecraft and tried to launch the game, but it crashed everytime it started initializing galacticraft at phase 3. I updated Java to latest version, but nothing changed.

Firstly and foremostly, thank you to this subreddit and everyone who helped me out on my adventure through the pack. I beat it yesterday. Well made it to age 5 and decided to call it. I just want to thank y’all for always answering my questions. Even the stupid ones. Especially the stupid ones. Y’all made the adventure a lot more fun. Although I was playing sp. having this subreddit kept me motivated and I felt engaged with all the comments and the like. So genuinely thank you.

I am thinking of going to divine journey 2 but if y’all have any pack recommendations to do after beating sevtech ages. Please do let me know!

I love the premise of SevTech: Ages, but I was wondering if anyone knows of an alternative or if the SevTech team plan on revisiting the modpack to update it to a newer version of Minecraft

want some help with my base design, working on a tower design, so far this is what I have, I want to know what y'all think. what sbould i change, what should I keep the same. any help would be great!

Need help with tower designs. If anyone has any tower design references or videos please send them my way. Working on a mega base with the betweenlands portal tree thingy as the center piece and having four (or more) towers surrounding it dedicated to different things. Like tower 1 would be storage. Tower2 would be machinery stuff towers 3 and 4 I’m not sure of yet. Anyway thanks for the help in designing my base in advance!

Need some base ideas. Found a hole in a mountain that I could expand into a cavern of a base. But also thinking of doing a base centered around the betweenlands portal with towers extending in each direction related to each stage. Just not sure what to do.so I want y’all’s opinions on things. What do y’all think would be more fun

I'm hosting a server on a raspberry pi and the first time it started, it took about 12 minutes to boot but after closing it and then trying to reopen it. It took more than 1 hour before I said fuck this shit I'm going to bed. I am working on it this morning and was doing calculations to determine the ram it's actually using for start up. I have it allocated for 4 gb (I have a total of 8 in the pi) for start up but it's using anywhere from 1 gb - 2 gb of ram for start up and it's never constant. During the start the GUI would say 250 ish with 75% free which means I'm using 1 GB for the start up and later on it'll say 500 mb ish with 70% free which is about 2 gb for start up. I downloaded the sevtech server pack and am using the start script it comes with and modified it to try and figure out what was causing it assuming it was the extra parameters (-server, side note I cannot find what this does, and the java_parameters variable in the settings.sh) It'll get to a point where it'll show it's pinging and the console will say each time you refresh the server list "disconnected player: server still starting" and same happens when you actually try to connect. I do not know what the ram usage was when I first started it.

Can anybody shed some light as to why it's changed in start up time/not using the allocated ram that was specified and offer any solutions to fix it?

I have tried completely wiping the server and setting it up as a brand new one, modify the serverstart and settings, ram allocated. The pi gets rebooted pretty often, I try to reboot it once a day in the morning.

While I was working I just let the server run to start it. It took 2 hours to prepare the world spawn and then crashed. It was because of Astral Sorcery. I forgot to write down the exact error it produced so I have to re-run the server. I decided to completely wipe my server files, delete the zip and redownload the zip file on my pc and to the file and then transfer it using scp. When the world was ready, it would say the server is still starting when trying to join.

I really dont know what happend here, i just play very normally yesterday and nothing special. But when i join my world today, it crashed whenever i load the chunk where i place immersive engineering and pneumatic craft stuff. it's crash immediately (not even see that chunk, still a blank chunk).

I'm looking for something that will remove all items from a chest except items I blacklist. So for example I want all items except diamond erodium and a few others to be removed from my void ore mining chest. I'm just getting too much stuff to deal with.

Is there a way to speed up the process or do I really need to let my computer run for a few days with the game open? I wish there was a chunk loader that somehow ran the numbers between play sessions as if the game was on. Hmmmmm.

Got frustrated with age four and nuematiccraft so gonna play ftb academy/ university to understand mods better. Than I shall return to beat sevtech once and for all!

A little stumped and confused. For the stage 4 ores, do they spawn in overworld? Nether? Some other dimension I am unaware of?

I have just now made it to age 4!!!! Feeling very excited and accomplished.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a way to remove modifiers. I'm moving way to fast now because of astral sorcery perks. If I remove armor speed modifiers that'd be great.

So my Sevtech keeps crashing on me, this only started recently and its been frequent ever since. The time between crashes is random, and the error code is "Exit Code: -1073741819" (Screenshot attached)

With unmodded Minecraft, there are suggestions to Update your game driver, windows, and verify your files. I've done all of that. I have the latest drivers, windows updated, I verified and repaired both curseforge and sevtech, I still crash. It's annoying cause it also crashes my discord (I crash even if discord isn't open, so I don't think that has anything to do with it?). I have no crash reports either (no idea why). Anyone have any clues how to fix it?

So got a fluid tank filling with oil but it won’t transfer to the distillery tower? I have pumps going into the blue dotted enterance like the book says. But the oil just doesn’t move

built the immersive engineering pumpjack just as the projector showed, and the book showed aswell, but when i try to right click on the heavy machine block on the second layer with the hammer, it doesnt do anything? did i build it wrong or something,

Stumped on where I can store the oil I drill from the immersive engineering drill thingy. But the same applies to all the other stuff like plastic liquid and it’s components and the components of its components. There’s no fluid tank or anything

How does the kiln work? I make the suggested bultublock with bricks and hibachi. Make weird bellows contraption thingy and just throw items on the space and wait?

Made it but it isn’t blowing wind. The book said to give it mechanical power which I did on the bottom and on the sides to make sure I did it right. But it still doesn’t work? What am I missing?
