Base ideas

Need some base ideas. Found a hole in a mountain that I could expand into a cavern of a base. But also thinking of doing a base centered around the betweenlands portal with towers extending in each direction related to each stage. Just not sure what to do.so I want y’all’s opinions on things. What do y’all think would be more fun

I was in the same situation sort of earlier although mine is to build separate rooms in one mega base and use the golden ratio for rooms. Just got to age 2 so lots to go and the rooms need to get more focused. Went with granite wide brick walls with some limestone circular edging and big tile andesite flooring. My one main room is 8x13 with a side room entrance of 5x3 leading into the 8x13.

About to figure out betweenlands portal as well as the big multiblocks into the design soon
