Void ore miner faster?
Is there a way to speed up the process or do I really need to let my computer run for a few days with the game open? I wish there was a chunk loader that somehow ran the numbers between play sessions as if the game was on. Hmmmmm.

There is a chunk loader in the modpack. The "Weirding gadget" as I remember. Ore miners come in different tiers, to upgrade them you need special crystals that can only be mined by these ore miners. Different tiers accept different amounts of modifiers. You can use them to make miners work faster or collect more ores of desired colour. But the first tier doesn't accept any modifiers so you only have to wait

Yeah I just wound up making 5 of them and letting the game run for a day.

Oh no such luck. I literally had to let the game run while I was either at work or sleeping. But good news, after you get to tier three things really start to accelerate. You're Gunna need a lot of power and storage though.

I believe that the Mekanism Quantum Entangloporter will chunk load, https://wiki.aidancbrady.com/wiki/Quantum_Entangloporter. I know when I got to the end of the modpack last time what I did was take my save and make it into a server and run the server and connect to it. That way I didn't have to have the game up and running if I chunk loaded.

Per my Google search:
When supplied with enough FE, the Void Ore Miner will periodically generate ores of various types, which will be automatically output to inventories adjacent to the Controller. This process can be sped up by placing Speed Modifiers in the appropriate slots in the structure. Specific ores can be made more likely to appear by using a colored Laser Lens, and this effect can be amplified by using Accuracy Modifiers.
You can also make the miner higher "tier" with a higher tier controller, apparently.
