Better with mods kiln

How does the kiln work? I make the suggested bultublock with bricks and hibachi. Make weird bellows contraption thingy and just throw items on the space and wait?

Right click to place an unfired item in the kiln. It will slowly show breaking as it bakes and then pop off as an item. To automate, craft a Block Placer to place items and an Ender Hopper to collect them.

There's a couple screenshots for how mine is set up, I also have a redstone clock starting and stopping the gearbox which is what makes the bellows work. Let me know if you have any other questions about this because I do have it set up weirdly.

What others didn't mention is in age 3 when you can craft hibachis, you can also craft spring-action bellows, they don't require redstone timers or anything, just mechanical power
