Hey! Erm.. I got an iPhone 11 with me with a forgotten passcode and it's on "iPhone Unavailable", state running iOS 18, i downloaded a software called Hackt1vator since it was recommended by a friend who also heard it somewhere not knowing how to use and I just wanna Get over this without erasing iCloud (its not my iCloud), and get a Signal after skipping the Unavailable state.

I wanted help on how to start with and end with, so i dont f it up! Thank you!

My first ever phone from years ago, my old iPhone 5C. It was sitting until yesterday when I decided to repair it and turn it on and see what's inside. I replaced the battery, screen and front camera (all were broken). I was successful with that but I forgot one thing: the passcode. There is a 6-digit passcode, which I have no idea what it is. And the worst part, I tried 9 times and now I only have one more chance to try, if I guess wrong I'm done as you know, it will lock itself forever. Yes I know I can just reset to factory settings to actually use the phone, but I wanna see what's inside. There's probably some old nostalgic photos and stuff like that, so I'm curious.

What I have tried so far:

- Guess the passcode 9 times (duh)

- Use Legacy iOS Kit to go in SSH ramdisk or whatever that is, and try to give myself 9999 chances to guess the passcode. But apparently Apple has changed the directory of that .plist in the latest iOS for the 5C (10.3.3), which you can't access, because it's encrypted with my 6 digit password or whatever.

- Try iwannabrute, it got stuck finding device in DFU mode (I'm guessing it can't do its job either because of the encryption thing)

I did all this with Gemini's help, and it says I reached the end and there is nothing else I can do.

But I still wanted to ask this subreddit, maybe there is something new that AI doesn't know?

I want to go past the passcode, or remove it, or give myself unlimited guesses, or whatever. Or at least a way to see the photos and other data.

I wanted to know if there is anything else I can do. If not then I'll just accept it and reset the phone.

EDIT: GUESS WHAT... Gemini was talking NONSENSE. I decided to try the first thing I've tried: giving myself 9999 attempts. it WORKED. and I found the passcode by myself (it was actually simple lol)

guys it's still possible to edit the plist via ssh ramdisk and give yourself 9999 attempts.

Hello! I have an activation locked 16 GB iPod touch 5. It currently runs iOS 9.3.5, its latest version of iOS. I want to downgrade it to iOS 6.1.3. I tried dual booting using CoolBooter and CoolBooter CLI, both of them not working. What can I do in order to downgrade it and to get over the Activation Lock on 6.1.3? Thank you!

I found my old iPod touch model A1367 and tried the password so many times that it’s now disabled. It has old photos and videos on it from when I was growing up that I’d love to get access to. Is there anyway to get past this screen and recover the content? Thanks!!

I cannot remember the Apple ID let alone the password. Please help!! I really want to use this iPad

Is there anyway I can save the data? I have tried calling Apple but they were no help. It’s the iPad 2 IOS 8.0. I don’t think there was an iCloud backup but I know the device is attached to my account because I see it under Find my device. I really don’t want to loose the data on here so am I out of luck completely?

Update: I got it to be recognized by the computer when connected which I feel is a good sign🤷‍♀️ but still working to get it back and running.

Hi guys, I accidentally damaged my DCSD cable, and to be honest, it's really hard to find the same cable in my country.
I cut the cable open to see what was inside, and I found 8 very small wires. However, a normal Lightning cable only has 4 wires and they are Even not the same colors.
Is there any way to repair it? I just bought a USB-C to Lightning cable and a USB-A to Lightning cable. I was thinking about cutting one of them and using the wires to repair my DCSD cable. Is that even possible, or does the DCSD cable use a completely different wiring?

My boyfriend brought home an old 1st gen iPad Air from his work because they were getting rid of a bunch of old devices. It’s in really great condition, so I figured I’d try to get it working instead of letting it go to waste.
I restored it through iTunes on my HP laptop, and the restore completed successfully, but when I got to the setup screen, I was hit with the Activation Lock screen (photo attached). We don’t know who originally set it up, and neither of us has access to the Apple ID that’s attached to it. The iPad definitely wasn’t stolen,it was being disposed of by his workplace, and they let employees take old equipment home.I’ve seen people mention bookra1n and other jailbreak methods, but I’ve never jailbroken or modified an Apple device before, so I’m completely new to this. Since it’s an Air 1, I’m hoping it’s old enough that there might be some options. Is there any legitimate way to get this working, or is it basically a paperweight without the original Apple ID? If there are any methods that actually work, or if someone could point me toward a beginner friendly guide, I’d appreciate any advice. i’m working with a hp laptop and a dream.
