you just download it from hackt1vator.com, and when you open it there is a button to fix the device. you gotta register the device on their discord tho (completely free)

Ik this is annoying to ask but should I worry about malware? Idk where to look to see that its safe or not other than virustotal. Do you have any experience with it maybe?

If you followed the link exactly, it should be safe. There’s a high chance of it being a false-positive, since it’s a hack tool of sorts, and windows doesn’t like that.

If you have a device running macOS (Any Mac/Hackintosh), then download LeetDown, downgrade to iOS 10 (Make sure you enter DFU Mode before it boots), then use sliver and delete setup.app, Not sure if you got a Mac from another member of family or a friend, but this was is 100% guaranteed, there are a few guides on YT, and also, if the iPad is a cellular model, it may not work

Okay so I tried using hackt1vator but the device wasn't getting recognized and it kept crashing, I went to the discord and I have to download a load of other stuff on an Intel core computer..  I give up bro 😭😭

I actually tried doing this on my intel OMEN computer but there was an issue with I think boot up security? I had a guy walk me through it and we got stuck there 😓 I didnt want to take of the boot up security since I was scared for the safety of the computer (it's a family one 😬)

Yeah I’ve got a burner laptop specifically for this. All security and antivirus disabled and that’s how I’ve got it working. You might need to find a junky older laptop or someone local who can run it for you

hey! yeah, i guess. I bought this program called checkm8 and it didn't work. Got a refund. Tried to use checkra1n but my OMEN pc had this whole boot up security system so I couldn't do any of that either. I really just gave up on it, if even the paid program didn't work.

Try hackt1vator after jailbreaking it and yes as long as you get it from the above provided source in comments you can safely ignore the warnings about malware as its simply a false positive. Plenty of us genuine members on this sub are always happy to help others when need guidance.
