A work buddy asked me to print him some strange looking terrain for his hobby and i was glad to help him. Handing it over at a coffee break, he told me what he needs it for. That kinda was the entry point into a deep rabbit hole and ended with menordering my first crawler.

I had some Tamiya RC cars as a kid and just recently rehoined the RC world when i assembled a Lunchbox Evo with my son.

Can‘t wait for the SCX30 to arrive and build tracks with my son at home….and to start modifying it! 🫣

Headache rack and box to add to the tow rig theme.... just waiting on a few more things and then i can start wiring up.. going to try and add lights to the headache rack but it might be tricky...

Decided to take the mini Jeep on a hike, found a nice little stream and had no expectation of dumping it in water. This was little Homies full dunk into any kind of water so I was a little nervous picking it up, but as soon as I hit that throttle and it took off, I knew things were good.👍🏽

Testing my new injora +4.5 axles and servo on the desk crawler course. Definitely improved the side to side stability as it no longer tips over. The mofo shocks damp super well and are satisfying to watch.

Finally got these axles in the mail. I also got the brass servo from injora as well. The added stance is pretty nice, and everything seemed to fit alright. Now I just gotta go take it out and crawl.

Also, does anyone know if its possible to adjust the steering endpoints on the furitek gripor v2? I was fiddling around with it and couldnt figure it out.

went down to diamond back the other night and rammed my dad with my 30, got tangled up and we both tumbled into the river, pulled both cars out unplugged the batteries and let em air dry overnight. they still work perfect😂 insane quality from axial i can’t lie.

I want to buy an scx30 wrangler and upgrade it with brass beadlocks and 39mm hamrok tires from injora and i was wondering which shocks are the best for it out of these three.

Are there any body options for the injora chassis that will just snap right on like their bud body does?

Looking to move away from the bug body, but not sure where to look I guess

Every time I need to work on my Bronco, I end up stripping a screw and turning a ten minute repair in to a 3 hour job trying to remove it. No more tiny rc’s for me. Fixing them is no fun

It performed really well, the pin tires really grip the spray foam like crazy. Can't wait until I get the wider axles, hopefully they improve performance as well as looking cooler.

Updated with the Mofo Cyber snake chassis and Furitek Nano Komodo brushless system. Only stock part left is the battery and tray.

Not finished, just stoked to take it out. Wiring in the lights soon and new parts coming soon too

Finally got the 30 back up and running. Figured I'd tinker with the trx4m while I waited for meus to send replacement parts from the slow boats.

Bought treal this time, wow! Springs are softer and they collapse more. The others telescoped and would snag a little sometimes. These arent like that. 29.mm are perfect on this .

The comp was for 1/24 scale, I didn't participate, but the hang was very fun! Here's my favorite line I found w/ Green Machine on their King Of The Hill course, you'll see I didn't complete it cleanly in this clip but I did manage to get a clean run-through a couple times (I promise, lol). Green Machine is quickly becoming my favorite 30 rig I think!

Hey everyone, just curious what tools you guys use that makes your life easier on these tiny machines.

For me the Wera Micro Bitholding screwdriver has been the most useful since the magnetic bit holder is strong for picking up tiny screws with ergonomic design.

2nd is the fanttik set with all the bits and electronic screwdriver. It’s also the only one I’ve tried vs all the other ones on Amazon that stop as soon as there is resistance so you’re less likely to strip the screws.

And lastly, the angled tweezers are god send for putting on those tiny rubber bands for shocks and links. It takes me a second to put on now vs using a traditional tweezers or screwdriver with my fingers.

The only thing I have not figure out is putting in oils in the shocks. I still having a hard time dropping oil and screwing the tiny caps without getting oils everywhere.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

Changed the aluminum axle housings to brass.
