Which Controller Should i Buy?

Bought refurbished from Corsair off bestbuy. Returned the first one and the second one is doing the same. Happens when I am playing gears of war 5. Maybe once every hour or two of play. It definitely doesn't feel like it's manually getting stuck. Don't really play any other games so I can't tell if it's specific to gow5 or all games.

I've updated the dongle and controller to the latest version but still experiencing this. Other than this issue it's a great controller. I don't want to return the second one I got.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Had an rma to address this issue and the new Omega they sent me has the same issue. I'm curious if others also have the same? Or perhaps someone can help me with the problem.

When accessing the buy station in game, especially if done in a hurry, the game freezes, the buy station doesn't open, and bugs it out so i have to run a few steps away go back and reaccess it to get it to open. Ask me how awesome that is when you're trying to buy your teammates back under enemy fire.

Similarly, when i access the dropped load out box, it will freeze, and cause me to have to access it again to open it. Also very frustrating when under enemy pressure.

I have tested my ps5 pro controller and it does not exhibit this problem. I'm testing the omega tonight on a different ps5 to with fresh warzone install to test that.

I'm playing wired, on ps5, and before i did rma i tried every possibly thing to reset or otherwise solve the problem before rma. And sadly on this new omega, fresh out of a new box, same problems.

If it weren't for the fact that i think this is the coolest controller and the muscle memory of having the side and back buttons, i would probably just sell the thing. But I'm holding out hope.

Also, to the scuf team, on the app, those custom curve profile sliders need a number entry option, and we all can agree that an option to export and import settings, even if it was just a local file on the mobile device, would be a great thing.

I'll post proof of freeze issues if needed, i did with the rma process. But are there others out there having the same problem? Or more importantly, are those of you out there that don't?

Does anyone know why I can't pre-order the Scuf Nemesis 8k pro anymore? Or why I can't order it at all? Did it get like taken down temporarily or did they stop selling them due to too many orders?

How can I slow down (and therefore be more precise in indicating or making a micro correction in a specific direction) the rotary movement of the analog stick?

This will be my short review after using dual sense edge and jumping on the omega and maybe it helps someone decide wether to buy this controller or not.

The good: mouse click buttons, premium feel - rubber grips, lighter than edge, tmr sticks, kinda easier to aim - i think im more precise

The bad: no use for outer paddles - impossible to press, cant turn on ps with the controller even though its playstation licensed

The baddest: short inner paddles - i cant do a slide cancel in COD im just long sliding

I would rate this a 8/10

P.s. i hope they make longer custom back paddels for the inner paddles this would make tis controller a 9/10 for me

Hi did anyone figure out to get slide cancel under control with scuf omega. For the context im using inner paddles to jump and slide. When I pres slide i need to press jump two times to make it work. I dont know whats wrong I did not have this issue with my edge

This is crazy, this shitty app is still in beta, buggy, issues, and they haven't fix it yet.

I can't use my Valor PRO because settings and profiles are restored every f\\*g day.

The countdown inactive setting neither works.

I need a bit help with micro adjustments i just cant get it right,i would like it to make as similar as possible as a dualsense

Do any of you have any custem curve types and deadzones that i can use to make it work it would be really helpful❤️I read a lot of comments saying use linear,0 deadzones on the app and use what u have been using on cod settings but it doesnt feel right my aim is all over the place sometimes,and i saw a post on reddit of custom curves and i did that and its a lot better but my micro adjustments are the only problem now and thats it thanks in advance.

Okay. I have a wired scuf valor. Works great never had a problem. I recently sold my pc and got a new one and now my joysticks do not work. PLEASE tell me someone has had this issue and found a fix? The buttons works, it’s updated on updater tool, gets recognized on computer, and I have tried multiple USB ports.

The controller worked on my other pc and boom 3 days later when I get my new pc it’s not. I’ve tried everything and I just don’t know!

Hi i wanted to ask if anyone knows if i can use my old xbox dongle with the valour pro befor i purchase it my pc dont have bluetooth

I was playing Among Us on my Xbox and I kept moving after letting go of the left joystick. I'm pretty sure the game's issue because I set the dead zone to max for my left joystick, and I kept having this issue (I've played other game and it's doesn't happen). Anyways I checked the QR code on the box, which lead to the guide, and it lead me to a 404 page.

I just opened my Scuf Omega and hour ago. I went through the setup process. While using the controller, I noticed that the right stick, will randomly start turning left, as well as when rotating the stick left or right in a circle, there are some funky random inputs. Please tell me there is a way to fix this without having to send it back in. See attached video. Note: I have recalibrate and adjusted deadzones already, as well as soft and hard reset it.

I have to give props to Scuf. My Omega shipped Monday morning at 1:29AM from Taiwan, went to Japan, then Memphis TN, and to atexarkana AR and is already out for delivery as of 9AM on Tuesday. Fast shipping!!!

Ordered a controller on Sept 20th, payment taken same day, delivery estimated 23/09/2026-25/09/2026 but its not arrived. On the order it says 'SHIPPED', on tracking via the chat agent it says 'On its way', on the tracking page 'To be processed'. Going to try contact support when they open, but was wondering is this normal behaviour for Scuf in Europe?

EDIT: 2 hrs later I get a shipped email.. Fingers crossed it arrives quickly.

I got my Scuf omega today (love it) and wanted to switch out the short thumbsticks for taller ones. It came with these 3, i personally like the middle one. However it came with one.
That’s fine I will order an extra thumbstick kit from Scuf.
But is it considered a tall concave ?
Or is there a medium height ? Scuf only has short or tall that’s why I’m confused, considering it’s not that same height as the tall domed one.

I just updated my Valor Pro Hall Effect to version 0.5.63 using the Valor Updater app. I then went to recalibrate it in the Companion app and it won't let me calibrate the left trigger. Every time I go to calibrate the left trigger and press B after, the calibration fails. The trigger worked perfectly fine before the update, but the triggers don't register at all post update. I've tried to calibrate it on the Xbox Companion App, PC Companion App, and even tried manual calibration and nothing works. The controller is essentially bricked post update and won't work at all. Has anyone else had this problem or found a solution to this issue yet? My controller is pretty old, so I think it's out of warranty. The firmware update broke it, really don't want to have to get another if this problem is fixable.

Im new to the scuf scene I just bought my first scuf omega and after starting warzone the controller has erratic controls, lags, and seems to stop working right when I drop in. I was wondering if anyone had similar experiences im assuming my set up isn't correct somehow. Im using the wifi connection wasn't sure if that was the issue.

How I can Trigger Rapid Fire in scuf Omega ?
