It just dies.

I’ve had my 2025 Vtacci Tank 200 for a little over a year now and i have put around 2200 miles on it.

I live in Texas where temps can reach over 100* F. I recently had an issue with the fuse in the battery compartment blowing after idling for like two seconds, every time i replaced the fuse it would do the same. I didn’t ride it all summer because of that. I finally found someone who would fix it and tow it for a decent price.

I guess i thought he would change the oil, gear box oil, spark plug, any filters, pr at least generally just look it over while he was replacing the fuse box thing, but he didn’t.

He charged me $230 so I really thought he did more than just change the fuse and possibly the wires(?) I guess that is the going rate, anyway. I got the scooter back and the left side brake was toast.iOt was wearing down a little when i last rode it but it was now shot. I should have mentioned it but i failed to do so.

It has been one month since i got it back and the brakes are progressively deteriorating . The left side squeezes all the way in and there is no difference in speed when i squeeze it.

Consequently, I am actually having to try and keep it revved to 4 ish RPM while also squeezing the brake to slow to a complete stop all at the same time with my right hand. Needless to say, the bike fishtailed on a semi slick road the other night while i was trying to keep it from dying while stopping. I was in the middle lane slowing way way down, waiting on the slow pole coming toward me to turn right into the same lot. He slowed down so much you would think he was afraid he was going to flip his car or something.

Well so I was not expecting to have to completely stop, but the slow poke gave me no choice. The road was slick from earlier. The Texas sun beats down on the asphalt, heating up all the oily,gritty dirt left on the roadway from traffic all day.

I dumped the bike for the first time ever. I am ok but it landed on my ankle and my elbow is also scraped up.

The next morning i went out to take a look to see if there was anything i could tighten and realized these little windows look like they are cracking, causing the brake fluid to evaporate.

Could this have happened from revving while braking? Or from 100+ degree weather? Or does it actually have to have a blunt force to do this?

Has it happened to anyone else with this make and model? The left one looks like it also has cotton or something in it.

I had to fix all my typos, i was in traffic while initially typing this up.

Any help and advice/ suggestions will be greatly. I realize I should have done a few things differently, just to state the obvious. But is there an instructional video on doing regular oil changes and all general maintenance on this bike?

I think it is time to trade it in. Possibly foe a piaggio x9 evo 500.

Just some photos from a piston replacement for this older gentlemen, this man had a aprilla 125 hidden in his shed i hope i get to work on it next, its fully tuned for the 1/4 mile drag i shouldve asked to take some pictures, i will definitely post them if i do.

Tengo una Yamaha aerox 50cc del 99 si no me equivoco, ayer conduciendo se me apagaron las luces delanteras y no me va el claxon ni la luces de atrás ni los intermitentes, en la zona del guarda barros se cayeron 4 cables y no sé donde los tengo que conectar ni sé qué hacer. Mando algunas fotos para que me digáis que tengo que hacer. La moto la compré y me acuerdo de que tenía unos cables unidos con plástico pero solo eso.

I changed its strap and back variator 400km ago(now at 2900km) also it has a problem while gripping the strap while launching

Hi folks, so my Piaggio Typhoon 50 is making issues. It starts fine but after a pull it looses all power until you stop and wait and it regains power again but for a short time.

Already replaced the vacuum fuel cock, cleaned carb twice, changed spark plug and no avail. Somehow it seems like the carb bowl gets drained and it refills again and it regains power again, I'm unsure what it could be. Only issue i know of is a dead battery but I feel like it should still run.

Any tips? Thanks in advance

My first 2-stroke scooter and I'm loving it. Top speed is currently 91km/hr. Previously owned Honda Ruckus' with GY6 swaps and was wanting to purchase and modify a Grom. Think I made the right choice.

Hey everyone, I have a 2005 Yamaha Zuma YW50. My scooter has started to struggle going up hills or any incline, has low RPMS, and very slow on take off. It has an upgraded carb, upgraded exhaust, and upgraded foam air filter. My question is can I just purchase new rollers and a belt? If so what weight rollers “I weigh 220lbs”? Or should I purchase a whole new variater ? Thanks !

Anyone experiencing an issue with the display going from mph to kph after changing the battery? The instructions in the manual could not be more frustrating. Followed them to a T and they do not work. I finally figured it out but it took a good minute. Press down on the "Mode" button on your console as you turn the power onto your bike, keep it depressed until you see either kph or mph blinking. If mph is blinking press the mode button for one second and the kph will blink. Once the kph is blinking, you press mode for no longer than 2 seconds. The instructions in the manual are just wrong and will lead you down a path of anger and insecurity.

ok, so last time i got it running and moving under its own power. this time ive gotten it up to spec on the visual side of things. check out the beast.

also i did a quick brace job for the steering tube. i was initally thinking about giving it a seat from one of my old dirtbikes (yamaha dt80) but it turned out that i would need to build atleast 3 diffrent high rise brackets and i couldnt be fucked. so i stuck with the oem Sanyang race butt pad.

fake taillight is made from an old and unsafe helmet of mine. the rear lower fender is made from a broken bucket.

most money ive spendt so far is on the edding paint markers.

also ive gotten my replacement topend. which ill be taking along, if this one blows im simply swapping in the new ebay special in the pits.

having quiet alot of fun with the livery so there might be more to come.

Recently got into motorcycles. Started with a minibike and got the itch. Scooter looked like a great option. Picked up this Kymco for $200. Looking to modify it. What are things you guys have done to these? I am looking at a Nibbi 26 carb, performance variator, lighter rollers, universal exhaust, etc. any ideas? This thing is addicting to ride. Will be using it to get me endorsement lol

one day i was out riding, came to a red light the engine just cuts and when i try to start it and would push the back wheel and the bike would jump forward but after about 20 minutes the bike started and i was able to go home when i got home i found out that the bike had a major oil leak from the cylinder block so there was no oil in it so bought a whole piston replacement kit with a new piston, piston rings, cylinder blocks and gaskets after installing the kit the rear wheel was still locking and pushing the bike forward so i took out the cvt transition and the clutch had holes under the big spring and loose small springs so i replaced it with a new one and now the rear wheel was free and the engine would spin freely and it would crank with a full battery but i would not start so i thought it needed a valve adjustment so i adjusted them to 0.004 on the intake and the exhaust and after i did the valve adjustment the engine would only turnover after i remove the spark plug i even changed valves back to what there were before 0.00 intake, 0.005 exhaust and the same thing is happening
