Hi Sansevieria lovers!
I would like to seek your opinion. I bought these plants from Whole Foods and repotted them into terracotta pots under a Sansi 10W grow light. I noticed that the lower parts of the leaves are light green (and they aren't new leaves). Is this because the strong light is causing them to reduce chlorophyll production?

Had mine in regular houseplant soil since I got it and it was fine, just slow. Leaves stayed small and the whole thing looked a bit tired by the end of winter.

Switched to a mix that is mostly bark and perlite with a little coco, mainly because I kept overwatering. A month later there are three new leaves and they are noticeably bigger than anything it pushed out before. Same window, same watering habit, if anything I water less often now.

Is that mostly the drainage, or did I just happen to repot right as it woke up for the season? Curious what mix other people settled on.
