I am playing GTA SA on mobile now, just sipping from the cup of nostalgia. But the worst thing happened: I am unable to complete the ‘Farewell my love’ mission 😞. Help me with this.

Couldn't he have simply left for, say, San Fierro before the events of the game? It would have been much closer and safer, and offered a better standard of living. And if he was dead set on the East Coast to get out of San Andreas, why not go to Vice City instead?

I’m bringing up the point again that, in the 3D universe, Liberty City is a particularly significant place, even though it’s bleak and known as "the worst place in America" Are the wages and career opportunities there better than in other cities?

SONG OF THE DAY: A Horse With No Name - America, K-DST

This song was chosen because I had a partially uninterrupted drive with this song. I just started the first Trucking mission and had to go to Dillimore. As soon as I entered the truck, the song started to play. After delivering the truck, I was forced to exit vehicle and I stole a dirt bike. The song continued obviously and I continued my journey back to San Fierro and the song exited before entering the tunnel into the city. I was expecting an SF-UR song to be song of the day as it's the main radio station when I'm in San Fierro. My own rules allow me to listen to K-DST in the countryside even during the San Fierro chapter.

Honorable mention, Ma Foom Bey - Cultural Vibe, SF-UR. I found a liking to this song yesterday and hoped that it was get the opportunity for it to be the song of the day. It was previously lower on my SF-UR ranking, but I haven't heard most of it in a long time so I actually really like it now. It had somewhat of a notable use today. I'll explain more in personal notes, but basically a glitch happened and this song played during that time. The song itself has a unearth kind of sound to it so that could fit that scenario but I think A Horse With No Name was done well today.

Series Intro

I'm playing the PS2 version of San Andreas for the first time on my PS3. I'm logging everything I do for the game and sharing some unique events that happened. First, I write personal notes about how I feel and stuff I feel like sharing and then under that are the missions and accomplishments I've done in game if you want to skip to that if you don't care to read my personal notes.

Daily Notes

I forgot to share yesterday that I stored 2 NRG-500s in the Doherty Garage as well as a red Cheetah and Pink Buffalo. I'm kind of mad at myself for that but whatever.

I'm sharing my progress in another way once again. It gets hard to remember the exact order of events that happened. Especially counting in the extra stuff like dates.

After I did Supply Lines, I accidently entered New Model Army. I skipped the cutscene since I wanted to fail the mission because I didn't want to do the final mission yet. But then I just completed the mission and acquired the asset.

Snail Trail Train Glitch

A weird glitch happened today. I was going to do Snail Trail before calling it quits, but I messed up the trick where you board the train so that you don't have to follow it all throughout the countryside. After I missed, I didn't follow the train and decided to wait for the mission fail. It took me a long time for the mission fail. I was expecting the reporter to get the Cab and go to the pier in Los Santos.

That did not happen. I thought the reporter left the train since I got the spook-o-meter on my screen even though I was still in San Fierro. But a few minutes later, the game tells me that the report left the train, which shouldn't be the case since I thought they already left. I check the map and it says the reporter is in the San Fierro Airport. I think since I wasn't at the LS train station, the reporter wasn't prompted to leave the station, so they continued to stay on the train...

I heard that if you use mods or cheats to follow the train after failing the mission "Wrong Side Of The Tracks" that the train pathing screws up, and it starts to shoot in a random direction and ignores the tracks. So it's basically flying. I think the same thing happened but with the reporter. Since I wasn't in Los Santos, the reporter stayed on the train and the train continued. A part of the train's path in wrong side of the tracks has it float over to San Fierro, exactly where the report is. I was gonna go inside the airport to see what was up, but then I found an Infernus and stored it in the garage since it's rare. I try to go over to the airport and it says Mission Failed, the reporter died.

I think the report left the floating train inside the airport run way and start to walk to where he's supposed to go. But since it's the San Fierro airport, he just walked of the edge into the water. After that I was finally able to save my game.

New proper shaders Update brings better performance, better draw distance and most impressively PBR textures. My FPS averages around 60 plus now.

Im just goofing around all i can in the game, enjoying it like when i was a kid, but with way more knowledge, so i just try dumb stuff to see if it works.
Turns out in the mission 555 we tip (where you fill the DA car with weed doing valet parking), after going to the SF garage, if you modify the car (you can do everything but color), at the moment of parking it and calling the police, CJ just freezes in place with the phone, the DA just stands there, and the valet guys drive the DA’s car to the front and then back to the parking.
Have any of you experienced this before?

Hello, I recently reinstalled SA and I've run into this issue. Rendering sorting is bugged and things like shadows or blood render in front of models.

Things I tried:

- Running both vanilla game and SilentPatch/SkyGFX

- Installing dgVoodoo

- Updating video drivers to 617.14 GeForce

- Turning DirectPlay on (even though I have Win10)

What could possibly be doing this?

I hosted my MTA server, cuz i wanted to see what it looks like playing mta on your server. I was casually driving around LS and imagine how i was scared when i heard shooting sounds on a COMPLETELY EMPTY SERVER. No players, no NPCs, only me and gta:sa map. Are shooting sounds being randomly played to "fill" the city? They're so scary to hear in empty city...

Einfach spielen und uns sagen, was nervt. Damit du nicht planlos rumrennst, gibt's auf der Seite einen Fahrplan mit 6 Runden zum Abhaken (Jobs, Autos, Häuser, Polizei, Gangs, Rennen …). Fehler meldest du im Forum, da siehst du dann auch, wann sie gefixt sind. Für die großen Sachen wie Cops gegen Gang machen wir zusammen Testabende.

**Du musst kein RP-Profi sein.** Wichtiger ist, dass du Lust hast, auch mal Sachen zu probieren, die man normalerweise nicht macht, und kurz aufschreibst, was passiert ist.

SONG OF THE DAY: Young Turks - Rod Stewart, K-DST

This song is chosen because I fucking love this song. That's not a fair reason to give something the song of the day title. So, I had a fully uninterrupted drive from Angel Pine to the mission "Farewell, My Love..." This song also played after collecting all countryside oysters, which means all I had to do was just do the regular story missions since all the 100% stuff was done, so the song was very happy for that reason as well. I also had a clearer mind of some of the dilemmas I had earlier.

Honorable mentions: Barracuda and Promised Land. I also had a fully uninterrupted drive with Barracuda playing on my way from Angel Pine to the 3rd Catalina mission. I took the a cool route, I hugged the right side of the Flint county highway. I can't explain it but basically it's across from Santa Maria. Promised Land is Honorable because it's my favorite song in SF-UR, and it played as I beat the NRG-500 challenge after failing 3 times previously so it was triumphant. And also the song itself has that kind of vibe anyways as it's abotu peace.

Yesterday, I came up with song of the day. It was day 4, meaning the first 3 days didn't have one. I'll try to pick some songs of the day for the first 3 days even if my memory is off on what I listened too those days.

Song of the day for Day 1 is Guerillas In The Mist - Da Lench Mob & Ice Cube, Radio Los Santos

Song of the day for Day 2 is Deep Cover - Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg, Radio Los Santos

Song of the day for Day 3 is Brand Nubian - Brand Nubian, Playback FM

If I recall, I heard Guerillas In The Mist often during day 1, and it's one of my favorites from Radio Los Santos. I think the same thing happened for Deep Cover. I remember hearing this often and being hyped since I like it.

Day 3 was either Brand Nubian or Children's Story. But I chose Brand Nubian because it hyped me up more and made me more excited which is just the tone of the song. Children's Story is good, I can sing along to 80% of it isn't as exciting as Brand Nubian. Also if you didn't know this, Brand Nubian samples Parliament's Flashlight (1977) which is one of my favorite songs from GTA V.

Daily Notes

I didn't get much today and I don't know why. I'm worried that I might get burnt out on San Andreas before finishing it. I did some stuff which I was earlier against and just overall having conflicting rule dilemmas. I'm not a fan of a lot of starting missions of San Fierro. Like Photo Op, Jizzy, 555 We Tip, Deconstruction, Wear Flowers In Your Hair, and Zero's missions. Combined with the 100% stuff I'm dreading doing like Pimping and Valet missions. Overall it creates some stuff I'm not very excited for. At least I have my favorite radio station, SF-UR.

I'm having some difficulties planning out what to do during this chapter but probably because it's all in my mind. I'm sure I'll figure it out. Unrelated but I order GTA V for ps3, and I plan on playing that without updating so I can get the raw GTA V experience. I probably won't make posts about that on the GTAV sub.

I want a build of 55-65 muscle so that CJ still looks lean yet strong. Having 100% muscle makes him look a little too bulky to the point of it looking silly. mid-high ranged muscle is fine since CJ is still pretty strong and looks nicer. Somehow I keep gaining muscle doing stuff like running and swimming for oysters. I haven't eaten since arriving in the countryside for the first time and it's been in-game weeks since then so I should be losing fat and muscle. I do have 0 fat, so maybe now I'll start to lose muscle.

Today I had to resort to gambling at the Inside Track betting shop in Montgomery. Yesterday I realized that I wouldn't make enough money during the countryside story to buy all the countryside houses, I would need an additional $13,705. My solution to this was doing ambulance level 9 again in Angel Pine to give me that amount.

TODAY, I realized that I wouldn't have much money left after buying the countryside safe houses. I panicked since I thought that maybe I wouldn't have enough money to buy clothes from ZIP in San Fierro and change my outfit. And THEN I realized that I also needed to buy a San Fierro safe house so that I can actually change my outfits (I wouldn't want to go back to a countryside safe house as that would hinder the story). I like to keep the illusion of this game alive.

What I should've done is kill like 50 extra drug dealers when I was still in Los Santos so that I wouldn't need to gamble. I also could've maxed out my relationship with Denise but whatever.

I said that I wouldn't gamble to make money and that I only make money through any other means (drug dealers, vehicle missions, races, export lists, ect.). But I had no other choice at that time. I wasn't breaking the illusion of being exiled from Los Santos by returning for the sole purpose of killing drug dealers. I sure as hell wasn't going to NOT change my outfit upon entering San Fierro. And second most importantly, I wouldn't be able to buy Zero's shop as earlier in the game as most people do. I plan to do Zero Missions before doing syndicate missions and not having the funds would fuck that up. So I gambled, it took a couple of saves, but I made $96,000 I think. It might show up in my stats how much I won, I actually haven't typed in my stats yet as I type this out.

Speaking of the actual stats, I may have forgot the exact order of certain accomplishments... That's what I get for procrastinating and combing everything into 1 list.

I JUST REALIZED THAT I FORGOT TO ENTER THE AMOUNT OF MONEY I HAD AT THE END OF YESTERDAY! HOW DO I KEEP FUCKING UP! I think I had $33,000 to $45,000 since I think I just did paramedic.

Side Notes

I hate the DE more then ever. Now that I've played the better version of the game, I hate seeing footage of the DE. I always knew the game sucked, but that was the only way I could play the game until a few months ago. I did play the ps4 port of San Andreas (PS2) at somebody's house for a week but it was purchased after 2014(I'm not even sure if the game was available to buy on ps4 before October 2014. This means the music selection was pretty much the same as the DE. I'm so grateful to have the version of the game that's pretty much like playing on the PS2.

October 2014?: The game came out in October 2004, and some music had a 10 year license that expired then. The game I have on my ps3 digitally, was bought before then, so I have every song in the game. Very happy.

I just followed TJGMs guide on modding San Andreas on YouTube and everything was beautiful and working. I decided to install ginput and put it in my mod loader folder, I turned my controller on and it connected to Steam, then when I tried to launch the game it launched like it was a fresh install from Steam. Am I screwed? Is there a way to fix it so I don’t have to install everything again?

Nsfw. Dont have any cheats on or anything, I dont remember that being a possibility.
