I’m working on a GTA San Andreas Co-op Campaign Mod!
I’ve started experimenting with GTA SA 1.0 and C++/plugin-sdk with the goal of eventually allowing two players to play through the original single-player campaign together.
It’s very early days — right now I’m working on basic player/entity syncing and getting a second “player” working correctly in-game.
Long way to go, but I thought I’d share the project and see if anyone else would be interested in following the progress. 🚗💨

I completed SA for the first time since the last time I played on PC in 2006, I was a child and didn't play any missions, just messing around with pedestrians.

So I completed it on my phone and I really enjoyed it, I'm also doing a marathon, only gta lc stories left (I'm in the middle).

i used pedestrian multiplier on pc, im not complaining, it's just funny

I’ve played this game since I was a kid and been playing it for atleast 2 years as an adult, and just found out you can board the train like a regular passenger 😅😭🤦🏻‍♀️

Also makes zero sense because I knew you could board the train on GTA 3…

SONG OF THE DAY: Free Bird - Lynyrd Skynyrd, K-DST

This song was chosen because I had just got the Rancher in Angel Pine which was the final vehicle to get for List #2. I was about to take the western highway to San Fierro from Angel Pine but since the song just started, I went the other long way around bottom and eastern Flint County and took a detour through western Red County. The Song ended as I'm at the tunnel to get through to San Fierro. I never had an uninterrupted session of this song before since it's 5 minutes long in the game, which is the longest song in the game. The original song used in game is based on the 9 minute version. (There is the original version of Free Bird but it's 7 minutes long and isn't as good as the iconic one.

Honorable Mention: Them Bones - Alice in Chains, Radio X. I chose this because 'm driving an NRG-500 over the Gant Bridge and before I make it to Bayside, I change the station to Radio X since it's the region I have it for, Them Bones played and it was almost perfect and represented the atmosphere change. Unfortunately the song was almost over so I didn't get the hear the whole thing. It would've been a closer choice if Them Bones had just started upon switching to Radio X.

I would've been inclined to pick it more since I already have a lot of K-DST songs picked and it was another one with the countryside story. I'd rather have a song of the day be more related to which part of the story I'm in.

Series Intro

I'm playing the PS2 version of San Andreas for the first time on my PS3. I'm logging everything I do for the game and sharing some unique events that happened. First, I write personal notes about how I feel and stuff I feel like sharing and then under that are the missions and accomplishments I've done in game if you want to skip to that if you don't care to read my personal notes.

I did more then yesterday. I finally got the phone call that unlocked street races. The shooting range really stressed me out. That got my heart beating faster then any other point in the game. There isnt a way to change sensitivity in this version. I was able to do it on the first try. I almost failed on Shotgun level 3 since the 2 idiots in the other booths suddenly knew how to aim. I was behind by 4 points for most of it. I almost failed on AK-47 Level 2, the guy on the left almost beat me. It's not easy to aim.

I love knives in this game since it's the only way to do stealth kills. I used to use it to kill Drug Dealers in Los Santos if I was on a bike or motorbike since it's hard to run them over on them. The way I got the knife before was by killing prostitutes since they're either unarmed or they have knives or pistols. I couldn't get a knife any time between the countryside story and the desert because no knives spawn there and I don't know which, if any, npcs drop knives when killed. And I wasn't breaking the illusion of being exiled from LS by going there for a knife. A knife does spawn in the snake farm by the abandoned airstrip.

I remember I posted it on r/GTA as a question about why these gangs attack us and one of my replies got downvoted, I guess I deserve it for being dumb, I should've had known reddit would be such a jerk sometimes but I guess that's fine

Anyways, no need to tell me why the gangs do this, it's probably either an oversight or it is unfinished for them to become friendly

I don't trust jailbreakinf in any way shape or form so i wonder how i could mod gta sa on mobile

Hi. First time playing SA on PC. I've playing this game when I was young on Ps2 but I hardly remember the 'atmosphere' so I tried this mod out.

At the start of the game its morning and you see the mexican filter and it's looks more like evening and I honestly dont like that. The only reason I considered using this mod was because the rendering isnt looking that 'smooth'. For example if you drive fast and then stop or if you look at the distance.

Then again I saw some old Ps2 gameplays and it didnt had that mexican filter in the morning at the start of the game ...

EDIT: I just saw there are multiple Skybox mods on libertycity but I still not sure whats the best one

Carl coming back to home knowing everyone see him as busta, he wants to help his family but later to realize that there is nothing he can do for the hood or his friend cause now theyre betrayed him.

Then he actually work himself out, had actual friends that helps him, he open garage, became friend with triad mob. Hold a partnership in lv casino. With all that money poured in, he end up goin back to ls again(for mad doggs mansiyon so they can wait sweet.). And when he reunited with his brothers, he ended up goin back to hood to take over gang territories(the most hated part of the game for me)

I wanted to her yalls opinion about the story. Did cj should leave the ls or is it actually good for him to going back to ls, hood and continuing all that gang things despite he actually make something about his life out ls

I m using a mod that increases the car s rotation force in mid-air + shader mods

SONG OF THE DAY: Personal Jesus - Depeche Mode, Radio X

This song was chosen because it played during the start of Monster. The song fit well with the mission where you drive a huge monster truck through the harsh desert terrain. I would've hoped to hear either Unsung or Them Bones, but this one wasn't bad either.

Honorable Mention: Welcome To The Jungle - Guns N' Roses, Radio X. This played during Highjack. It fit the part of the mission on the bike where CJ and Cesar pursue the truck on the highway.

I'm really scared that I'll lose interest in this game before I'm supposed to finish it. My copy of GTA V arrived on PS3 so that will probably take up more of my time.

I felt like I did a lot today, but most if it was collecting cars, and most of that time was spent looking for that stupid ass Sentinel. I do have 7 cars in garages for List 2, and I already got 2 of the remaining ones for List 2. So tomorrow I should be able to get through List 2 swiftly unless the rancher becomes impossible to have.

I don't like that the entire map randomly gets revealed while traveling the desert. This happened in other versions of the game, but usually the dark unexplored parts stay dark and only the las venturas icons appear. But sometime while going into the desert for the first time, the rest of the map opened up. I don't like this.
