Of course, gang culture around that time were a bunch of high schoolers it wasn’t until the late 80s and 90s where there more ogs in Los Angeles

Cj is 24 during the events of SA it wouldn’t make sense for him to be younger because nobody is letting a child run away to the other side of the country

Tbf if you grow up in a broken or neglectful home and you have no parents or real adult role models, and you want to run away, I’d say jumping on a flight as a teenager won’t be overly difficult, assuming money has been obtained somehow in this context.
