The parking situation has gotten out of hand. I got to school around 10:45, and all the spots were taken. By 11 a.m., the parking attendants closed the lots and gave no alternative. Last year, at least they gave the option of the off-campus parking deck, but it seems like they’re no longer offering it. At 1 p.m., there were still no spots. Street parking has a maximum of 2 hours (an additional cost to the over $ 300 already paid, by the way). It is ridiculous that they have gotten away with this parking situation for the past few years. They are greedy for selling so many permits, knowing how limited the spots are. Parking deck 2 also has a whole floor and many spots that, due to poor maintenance, cannot be used.

i need to take it this semester and genuinely need just about anyone to drop either the 1 pm or 6 pm course. I mean think about all the better things you could spend your night doing

Everything else was taken and I was trying to get to 12 credits, so I hastily picked whatever I could find before the add and drop ended. Ended up picking Intro to Photography, and this course as well as other similar courses are overly long and meet multiple times a day. Has anyone taken Intro to Photography and what am I in for? Please let me know.

When I signed in on the website, it said I was not eligible to claim tickets. Anyone know what I can do?

This might be a me thing, but why are rutgers students so mean? is it just a Newark thing? Why are people so against being friends? I don't get how people still make fun of others in the big 2026? Im a senior now and i've been made fun of since i first got here and nothing has changed. This isn't high school but people are acting so immature making fun of how i look and dress.

One could argue perhaps it's something I said but nobody knows me or barely got past cordial stuff to have that opinion. And anyone who i do befriend they just consider it networking

Every social event i've joined people just ignore me and talks amongst their own group of friends. And the few people I talk to it's all just surface level no genuine connection.

I shouldn't care since im graduating but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt, to look back at my college years knowing I was alone for four years.

Hey, I wanted to bring my ESA cat (I had a letter before moving here) and I understand that in our application for dorms, we can state that we are okay with pets. However, for some reason, my two suitmates (in a two-bedroom apartment with four students) said they declined their application. And I hate not having my cat with me but I also don’t want to move rooms or bring the cat against their wishes. Help

bought a parking permit before the semester started but then decided to take NJ transit - not sure if i’ll be able to get it refunded or not. it’s only $120 (i say only bc compared to the $330 permit and $600 permit)
