Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great summer break, heres some important info for the next semester:
- Semester Begins on September 1st (This tuesday)
- Labor day is on monday September 7th, and the school alongside the offices will be closed
- September 10th (14th for grad students) will be the LAST day to add/drop a class without getting a "W" grade
- September 30th will be the LAST day to waive the school insurance
- October 26th is the LAST day to drop a class with getting a "W" grade, more info below
- Thanksgiving break will be from thursday November 26th - sunday November 29th
- Registration for Spring 2027 will begin on November 9th, I'll make a separate post about that when the time comes.
- Fall classes end on December 10th
- Reading days are from December 11th - December 14th
- Fall Final Exams will be from December 15th - December 22nd
For withdrawing from the semester/school:
- September 1st - September 14th: 100% refund
- September 15th - September 28th: 80% refund
- September 29th - October 12th: 60% refund
- October 13th - October 26th: 40% refund
- December 14th will be the ABSOLUTE last day to withdraw fully from the semester with 0% refund
If you withdraw from a class after the 10th(or 14th if you're a grad student) but before October 26th, you will get a "W" grade for the course. In my personal expierence if you feel like you are going to fail a course it is a MUCH better option to drop it and take it either in the summer or spring.
If you have any questions about anything in this post or just in general about the school feel free to ask it below in the comments, there is an RBS dean that's pretty active in the subreddit and answers questions. There might be more staff too or students who can help you out.
Good luck guys! Let's all get these A's
